After having not finished high school, the advice from a friend kept him learning and growing and ultimately kept him on the path that he has landed on with his coaching business. Craig spent over 20 years in sales and marketing and then shifted after a chance encounter with a personal coach created a niche market in the mortgage sector helping owners track and grow their business, Craig understands what it takes to be successful, and has spent the majority of his life doing just that. Lev Karasin is a lion in many forms, after having immigrated twice in his young early life and landing in Canada not knowing any English he has grown into a business leader, a philanthropist, a coach, and a man on a mission to help others. He embodies the leave this place better than I found it mentality. Lev and I go deep on all of the above but also on the why behind them all. Episode 5: Matthew Klapwijk: Professional Development, The Power of Youth, Helping Others
Today's guest is Matthew Klapwijk AKA Matthew Millions, a student of personal development from the age of 17 when he was tricked into going to a conference, Matthew quickly realized that he had more to give the world. He has grown from the kid with a speech impediment that was put in the "special program", all the way to the Senior Marketing Manager at a financial institution. He has been recognized in Forbes Magazine for the impact that he made on countless lives, and the co-founder of Youth Empowering Youth- an organization that I have had the privilege to invite into my classroom two years in a row. We only covered about half of what was planned for this chat so be ready to have Matthew back in the near future. He lives by the motto: "I am driven to empower others so that they feel their dreams are alive by giving them the courage and support to live an extraordinary life." We do a deep dive into stepping into a leadership role in a thriving fitness community, overcoming fears of public speaking, anxiety disorders, and the loss of loved ones. Trevor Moore is a jack of all trades, a keynote speaker, a mindset coach, a magician, a PGA professional, a self-described corporate 5-Iron. I first met him as I tagged along with my parents as he ran them through a round of our local golf course. I got to know him over the next few years seeing him on stage as a speaker and a comedic magician. Sitting down to breakfast with him on a couple of occasions always leads to insightful, laugh-filled hours and I am excited to share this jack of spades with you. We talk about golf, coaching, a diversified personal portfolio, stepping into roles that you might not otherwise think you are ready for and self-care.
