Ride the Pine

This week we talk about the wild scores in last weeks PGA tour event. Why were they so low? What does this mean for the game? We also talk about the upcoming Tour Championship. Who will be victorious? We discuss this as we also figure out the new point method established by the PGA. We have a new part owner in the NFL an its JayZ. What does this mean for the NFL? Does this mean change is coming or will it not matter? Join us for that conversation as well! We then continue some NHL talk as we prep for another new franchise, this time in Seattle. We try to come up with their name and then we try to figure out what franchise moved where and who they are now. Confused? So are we. Finally we chat about tennis as the US Open is underway!

This week we talk about the FedEx cup! We find out who won the last event and where the pros stand on the leader-board! We then fumble into the first week of the NFL Pre-Season! We see what certain teams did and where they stand going into week 2! Dan gets into some inspiring stories form the NFL and some news in the NHL!

This week we talk about the PGA Tours FedEx Cup Playoff! We discuss who is hot and who is not and what can come from the tournaments to come. We then dive into some NHL off season news as we inch closer and closer to the start of the season. Finally, Dan goes over some great stories that will shock, awe, and inspire you!

This week we make up for a slower sports week with a nice array of stories hand selected by Dan! We talk about NFL lawsuits, contracts, hockey, and the MLB and some bizarre trades!

This week we talk about the Open Championship. What went right? What went wrong? We talk about how the players did and how the event turned out! We then get into some heavy talk about domestic abuse in the NFL. The conversation becomes a big heavy and does involve a sensitive topic. Please be advised. We then shift gears to find out what Jim Harbaugh has to say about Urban Meyer. Were his comments fair? We discuss!

This week we talk about the Wimbeldon semi final and final. We talk about the sensational match in the final between Djokovic and Federer. We then go into The Open Championship mode as we talk about the course, the players, and the weather! What will happen? Who will win? We make our predictions! We then go into some stories regarding the NBA and some player movement and what that means for the league. We then talk about the NFL and adding games to the schedule. Should they? Why or why not? We discuss this.

This week we talk about the FIFA Women's World Cup final! We discuss the winners, The USA, and then talk about what this tournament meant and what it will mean going forward. We then catch up with the Wimbledon thus far. Who has made it? What surprises have we seen? Who will win it all? We then talk about the whole Leonard situation. Why did he NOT sign with the Lakers? Dan has some thoughts. We then talk about baseball as the all star game approaches!

This week we talk about the opening match-ups in Wimbledon on both the Men's and Women's brackets. We talk about some shockers as well as make our predictions. Who will win it all? We then talk about the Women's World Cup as the Quarterfinals have come and gone. How does the USA look? Who will make the final? We discuss! After the break Dan breaks down the NBA free agency madness. A lot of movement occurred this year. Who went where? We analyze the major moves made in the NBA. We then talk about one of the more heart warming stories we have covered. A golfer with a past you couldn't even imagine makes one of the greatest comebacks ever. You do not want to miss that. Also, we make fun of the Knicks... because they did Knicks things again.

This week we talk a little about the NHL Draft. What players went first? How will the Rangers look with their new stud? We then talk about some Quarterfinal action in the Women's World Cup. We see how the US is doing and what a future match up could look like. We also make our predictions as to who will take it all! We then finally talk about the MLB. We talk about the standings, who is hot and who is not and then we make more predictions. Who will win the World Series? Dan has a shocking pick! After the break we go into some articles. First we talk about a new football league that is coming soon! Get the popcorn ready! Next, the NCAA and paying student athletes is actually going to the CA state Senate for a vote. What is the problem? We discuss that. Then Dan tells us some funny stories!

This week we go over the Toronto Raptors winning the NBA Championship! How did they do it? What does the future hold for them? We talk about it. Next we talk about the improbable US Open victory by Gary Woodland. We discuss how he did it as well as recap other golfers in the field. We then talk about some of the matches from the Women's World Cup! Next we talk about the big trade in the NBA that sent Anthony "The Brow" Davis to the Lakers. How does this shape the West? The NBA? We try to wrap our heads around that. Finally we talk about the dominating performances by the US National team as well as where other notable countries stand.

In this action packed week we talk about the Stanley Cup champion St. Louis Blues and how they managed to pull off a game 7 win at Boston. We talk about the season and what this means to the Blues and the NHL. We also discuss game 5 in the NBA Championship and preview the rest of the series. We then discuss the French Open and how Rafa won his 12th French Open title. We then take a look at the US Open in golf and debate who will do well and who will win!

In the first of the two busiest weeks in sports we go over the NHL Stanley Cup finals and the NBA Championship thus far. We nail down and/or alter our predictions going forward! We also discuss the French Open and the Champions League Finals! Tennis and Soccer are here baby!

This week we talk about the Stanley Cup! Who will win? Will it be the Blues or will Dan's Bruins hoist the Cup this year. We make out predictions! We also cover the NBA Championship as it is also set! Will the Warriors continue their dominance on the NBA or will the Raptors stun the world? We discuss! We then discuss a new study that compares injuries in the NFL to the MLB as well as a young pitchers intriguing choice to play in Japan over the MLB. Dan then quizzes Tom on some polls that we held on our Twitter page. Oh, there is also some talk about Dinosaurs...

This week we talk more about the NHL Playoffs. The Bruins are in but who will they play? The PGA Championship is over. We talk about what happened, who won, and what it means for the game of golf. Tiger Woods is in the news, but not because of golf. We go over the newest lawsuit against Woods and why it is important. We then discuss the ongoing investigation and lawsuit in Ohio as another sexual abuse scandal has been unearthed. We end with a feel good story about a young, and very large, man who is working his was into the NFL. You won't want to miss that!

In which Dan and Kyle discuss the NBA trade deadline, who their picks are for the NBA finals, and their take on LeBron James saying that teams in the East are glad they don't have to face off with him anymore.
