Australian Singer-Songwriter Riley Pearce joins The Road Trip Playlist Podcast. Riley recently released a new EP titled 'Maybe I Can Sleep It Off.' We talk with Riley about busking in Australia and how he hustled booking gigs as an up and coming artist. We talk about Riley's recent releases and what he has coming up.

We talk about him releasing a cover of Pink's song 'Don't Let Me Get Me' and how that led to him playing it with her on stage and even opening for her for one of her shows, leaving school and traveling at the age of 15, his upcoming music and more. 

This week on The Road Trip Playlists Podcast, my guest is the multi-talented artist Olivver the Kid. Olivver has a really cool story with music, and I loved learning about it in our interview. We talked about his dad forcing him into first learning to play the drums and how he hated it, and then how he grew to love it. His career started and took off as the drummer for the band, The Neighbourhood. He told me stories from the beginning of The Neighbourhood, to touring with Imagine Dragons, and The 1975, and his eventual departure from the band. This discussion led into his solo career and what Olivver the Kid has meant to him and what some of the most fulfilling parts since going on his own. We talked about his song making and how he is unafraid to use christian themes in his lyrics, his newest single ‘More Than Ever’ and how it has been a timely release, and about his path into music. I also learn that Cody used to work as a substitute teacher, that we share a love for the old school game NFL Blitz and his unexpected favorite road trip treat.
