The audio arm of Christian apologist and Bible teacher, Rob Lundberg. Rob is a is blogger, writer, & public speaker. For four years in his mid to late teenage years, he spent time as an apathetic skeptic. Halfway into those four years someone challenged him to do an investigation to try and disprove the resurrection of Christ. But the evidence Rob found was compelling enough to follow it where it led. We hope you will be challenged, that you will enjoy the Let's Get Real Podcast and learn more from Rob about why he believes Christianity is true.
Is truth absolute or relative? For anyone who claims to have done any evangelism and not engaged any objections to the subject of truth being knowable, has not done real evangelism in our post truth culture. Relativism is the philosophical position that all points of view are equally valid and that all truth is relative to the individual. But, if we look further, we see that relativism is not a logical proposition. In fact it is hypocritical and self-refuting. On The Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, we take on some of the most popular objections to absolute truth and show how they fail.
In total we look at nine statements that are the most common. They are:
1. All truth is relative.
2. There are no absolute truths.
3. What is true for you but not for me.
4. No one can know anything for sure.
5. That is your reality, not mine.
6. We all perceive what we want.
7. You may not use logic to refute relativism.
8. We are only perceiving different aspects of the same reality, and
9. Relativism itself is excluded from the critique that it is absolute and self-refuting.

If you recall, I mentioned that the Bible would distinguish between the remaining theistic worldviews. Since God cannot lie, it is safe to say that we can conclude that the Bible is in fact the Word of God. This means that Christianity is objectively true because Jesus taught that the Bible is the Word of God (Point 11); and it is true regardless of what anyone believes or any religions teaches about it.
On the Let's Get Real Podcast, we examine the twelfth point, which states the final therefore: "Therefore the Bible is the Word of God, and Anything Opposed to it Must Be False." In this episode point out that other religions to have moral truths and theological truths that are congruent where they agree with the Bible. But I also point out that the fundamentals of those religions are in conflict with the major core essentials of historical Christianity: a theistic God exists; miracles of God are possible; Jesus Christ is God; Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead; and the Bible is the Word of God.

When we began our investigation of the reliability of the Bible (Point 6) focused only on the New Testament. The reason for this is because that is where we learn who Jesus is (even though Jesus was prophesied in the Old Testament). We concluded that Jesus is God and that whatever He teaches is necessarily true (Step 10). Therefore we can trust whatever Jesus teaches about the Bible as whole.
On this week's Let's Get Real Podcast, I address several passages that affirm Jesus testifying that what we have in the Old Testament and His promising the New Testament is truly the Word of God. The Qur'an is not the Word of God. The Vedas, Gita, and Upanishads are not the Word of God. The Tipitaka of Buddhism is not the Word of God. The Scriptures, we know as the 66 books of the Bible, are truly the Word of God, because Jesus confirmed it. Jesus did not lie, nor was He delusional.
Have a problem with this? Take it up with Jesus. He is the Word made flesh (John 1:14), and spoke with authority using "it is written." I share in more detail the meaning of this phrase and why it has an authoritative tone. ABOUT ROB LUNDBERG MINISTRIES
When we are sharing our faith we don’t believe that we should ever give glib answers that are like shooting from the hip. Our answers to those seeking truth need to be well thought out, sound, reasonable and relevant. Our ministry can help you find answers for your faith! We can also help you find the key discussion points that will lead you back to answers for believing that Jesus Christ is the answer to life’s biggest questions.
This week's episode is one that stems from a deduction of who Jesus truly is. If we recall in our argument we shared that Jesus is God (Point 9) by way of proving it via the resurrection. As Being itself God is necessarily Truth itself. Hence God cannot lie. So if Jesus is God He cannot lie either and whatever He teaches is true.
In this episode we discuss some of the things that Jesus shared in Scripture. If you have any questions about anything you hear in this episode, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or leave a comment from the front page of our website at https://roblundberg.org. Also be sure to subscribe to this podcast so that you can get the entirety of this series and episodes to come.

We are three quarters of the way through The Twelve Points That Show Christianity Is True. Here is where we are up to this point:
1. Truth about reality is knowable.
2. Opposites cannot both be true (The Law of Noncontradiction).
3. It is true the theistic God exists.
4. If God exists, then miracles are possible.
5. Miracles performed in connection with a truth claim are acts of God to confirm the truth of God through a messenger of God.
6. The New Testament is historically reliable.
7. As witnessed in the New Testament, Jesus claimed to be God.
8. Jesus' claim to divinity was proven by miracles, especially the Resurrection.
Over the last few weeks, we saw how the New Testament claimed that Jesus is God. Jesus also proved to be God via His resurrection. This week, we solidify the fact of Jesus' deity by discussing a doctrine that validates His being the Second Person of the Godhead. That doctrine is the Trinity.
Those who object to the Trinity need to understand that though the Bible does not give a prescription of the Trinity, it does give a description of God's disclosure as being triune. The doctrine of the Trinity states that there exists within on God three co-eternal and co-equal persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Muslims think this is polytheistic, and skeptics think this is a contradiction. But this is not a contradiction since God is said to be three in a different way than He is one.
Jesus did not empty Himself of His deity as heretics might think and write about. Instead He added humanity to His deity thus having both a divine and human nature. Jesus claimed to be Yahweh, the one true God, and He proved it by rising from the dead, doing miracles, and refuting His critics by claiming to be the I am (John 8:58).

Working through this series on the Twelve Points that Show Christianity to be true, we are building our case on logical premises that will assist you in making your case and understanding of the Christian faith credible in a secular society. By way of review let's go through what we have covered to this point: Truth about reality is knowable (Point 1);
The opposite of true is false: the law of noncontradiction (Point 2);
It is true that the theistic God exists (Point 3);
If God exists, then miracles are possible (Point 4);
Miracles are acts of God to confirm a message from God (Point 5);
The New Testament is historically reliable (Point 6);
The New Testament says Jesus claims to be God (Point 7 last week).
On this week's episode, we address the capstone of the Christian faith, the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Since we know that God exists, we also know that miracles are possible. The miracle of the resurrection of Jesus give proof that Christians are not foolish and delusional. In this episode I present five lines of evidence that most critical scholars will grant, when a good historical method is used. From this we will see that the resurrection best accounts for all the pieces of the puzzle without forcing them to fit. It will also set apart Christianity from the other. two monotheistic religions. That said, Jesus' claims will show to be miraculously validated.
If you have any questions about what you have heard to this point or what you hear on this episode, let me invite you to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can discuss. If you are a skeptic toward the Christian, I welcome you, but at the same time challenge you to investigate for yourself what this series to this point has been presented.

Who is Jesus? Is He just a great teacher? Is He just a mere Prophet as Muslims claim? Or is He God in human flesh. The New Testament tells us that Jesus clearly identified Himself as Yahweh, the God of the Bible, in both word and deed such that His First century audience wanted to have Him stoned. The original Apostles also identified Jesus as God, and the earliest Christians understood Jesus' divine identity and worshiped Him as such.
In this episode, I defend these points by presenting several facts about the early testimony of Jesus as well as external sources to back up the primary sources. If you have any questions or comments, please send them to email@example.com. Let me also invite you to subscribe to the Let's Get Real Podcast and share it with others. With the rising skepticism in our culture and in the churches today, many Christians (pastors and lay people alike) are not able to defend the reliability of the Old and New Testaments. There is a need to revive learning in our churches on defending the faith. There is also an onslaught in the subject in verbal plenary inspiration of the Bible, where a variant is erroneously called an error on the part of the original writers.
On The Let's Get Real Podcast this week, I address these issues and a whole lot more. Did you know that there are over 5800 manuscripts in the original koine Greek; and there are thousands of ancient translations in Syriac, Coptic, and Latin. Also, let's not forget the millions of quotations from the Early Church Fathers that allow us to reconstruct the original New Testament text with up to 99% certainty. I also address the issues of the remaining 1% and encourage you to remember that any remaining uncertainty does not affect (touch) a single essential doctrine of the historical Christian faith. I also share with you, in this episode, several lines of evidence that suggests that the writers told the truth and were not simply concocting a new religion or inventing a new religious leader.
In this episode, I point out to you a resource that will assist you that you will be able to download. It is my presentation slides in PDF which expound on the subject even more. If you have any questions, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Since the opposite of true is false, and establishing the case for God's existence (last week), we now move to Point 4 and Point 5, which compile a strong case for miracles. Point 4 tells us that "since God exists, miracles are possible." Point 5 is included in this episode, and tells us that "miracles can be used to confirm a message from God."
On this episode, we take you to a definition of a miracle, and then move to what are events that are mistakenly called miracles: (eg. anomalies, psychosomatic, sleight of hand magic, satanic, providential events, and a bona fide miracle. What are the differences? What makes them not a miracle as opposed to a genuine miracle? We also address the issue of the atheist objection stating "extraordinary claims requires extraordinary evidences" and why that objection fails miserably. Reference in this episode are a couple blog posts: Miracles v Science: A Tale of Two Realms and Responding to the 'Extraordinary Claims Require Extraordinary Evidences' Objection.

If you would like more information about our ministry, check out roblundberg.org. The goal of anything we put out as a ministry is to help you navigate through the skeptical challenges many face in a dialogue with a family member, friend, or coffee buddy. Let us know how we might serve you.
If truth about reality is knowable and the opposite of true truth is false, then it must posit the possibility of a God who is also, like truth, invisible, absolute and unchanging. God is not just those things, but also supernatural, uncaused, all powerful, all present (transcendent), and all knowing. We see from science, that the universe (a natural entity) came into being by something outside of itself. The existence (the fact that it exists) of the universe those is not the same as its true essence (what it is). We can also say that about things nearer to us, like a tree, a computer or even ourselves.
On The Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, I explain this in more detail. The purpose of this show is to show the possibility of a God that is all that has been mentioned and more; and to separate the views of a monotheistic God from those views coming from the religions of the East (Hinduism and Buddhism). As we move through this series, I will then move from this premise to show why the historical Christian faith is superior to the other monotheistic religions.

In our culture today, many people "listen with their eyes and think with their feelings." Many of the cultural issues of our day place many people in the reality of subjective truth. Springboarding off our our first point that truth about reality is knowable (Point 1), we find ourselves making absolute truth claims. Those absolute truth claims cannot be both true and false at the same time. Truth by its very nature excludes its opposite.
If you don't think so, would you feel the same way about things like your integrity, bank account, prescriptions from you physician, personal safety in hazardous environments, or getting wrong results from a True/False test? Making absolute truth claims or being the hearer of them is inescapable.
On The Let's Get Real Podcast, we move to the second point of the Twelve Points Showing Christianity as True, the Opposite of True is False and the Law of Non Contradiction. The law of non contradiction states that opposite ideas cannot be both be true at the same time and in the same way. Any claim or viewpoint such as relativism and nominalism (explained in the show) results in contradictions and is always and necessarily false.

If Christianity is true, what does it mean for the believer? Over the last few weeks we have been addressing some of the basics of what Christianity is about; what being a Christian really means; what is faith; what is the Bible; and what the church and its mission is all about. On The Let's Get Real Podcast, we are embarking on a twelve step series defense on what makes the Christian faith true. This is what is called the classical approach starting with the issue of whether or not truth is knowable.
In our culture today, Christianity is under attack and the concept of truth is challenged from several different angles from various movements in our culture. In this episode we are going to examine the definition of what truth is and what it is not, and how we know that it is knowable. You may want to take notes as we share the 12 Steps and then move into the first premise. You may want to get a note pad and take notes these next several weeks as we are going to look at each step.
As always, if you have a question please feel free to send your questions or comments to email@example.com. I began to teach this approach in several different venues, once I have learned it from my mentors (click on the link to download a free book), who have published on this approach.
The Let's Get Real Podcast is the audio arm of our ministry found at roblundberg.org. Please feel free to check out the resources we have to equip you and challenge you with answers to questions you may have.
Whenever you are involved in a conversation with someone who is skeptical about the Bible, it is usually because they have a preconceived idea that they do not all say the same thing. Mormons may throw down the objection to historical Christianity saying that the Christian church is not united because of all the Bible translations available. Are these objections valid? Is there any truth to them? It all depends on what you want to argue about. Independent Baptist Evangelicals believe the KJV is the only credible translation while others cherry pick versions that do not even qualify as a bona fide translation, but are more of a paraphrase at best and a "interpretive thought devotional" mislabeled as a "translation.
What is the best translation for me? Which one is the best translation for study?
On The Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob unpacks these questions and more. Because there are an abundance of "translations" what qualifies a translation to be a translation, and what disqualifies an alleged translation to be nothing more than a paraphrase? You will want to refer to the linked site with all the Bible translations available so that you can do your own research. We live in a day where we as Christians need to be in the Word and let permeate our heart, soul and mind (Matthew 22:36-40).
If you have any questions or comments on this episode, send them to firstname.lastname@example.org. The Let's Get Real Podcast is the audio arm of Rob's ministry. Moving through some of the foundational basics of the Christian faith, Rob addresses the question, "What is the Bible?" Some might think it is a book of myths and fairy tales. Others might use it as a vitriolic sledgehammer in addressing moral and political issues. Atheists cherry pick it. Liberal theologians demythologize it. Progressives politicize and make it about their own view of social justice. Some evangelicals preach it as a therapy book while Bible believing that it is the inerrant Word of God exposit it, answering the question, has God really spoken?
But what is the Bible? The Bible is a reliable collection of historical documents written by eyewitnesses during the lifetime of other eyewitnesses writing about supernatural events that are in direct fulfillment to specific prophecies and they claim that their writings are divine rather than human in origin; 66 books, three different languages, from three different continents by approximately 40 different writers communicating the intervention of God through Jesus Christ in human history.
Rob shares in this podcast not just this information, but also the different types of genres that are in the 66 books and how they all are authenticated bibliographically in contrast to ancient literature, internally and externally. If you have any questions or comments on what you hear on this episode, please send them to email@example.com.
Thinking about what is possibly ahead for us, with the Equality Act on the horizon, it is important to sure up what we believe and why we believe it. When it comes to conversations about faith, some conversations can become volatile pretty quickly, especially when the other person in the conversation is anti-faith or has a misunderstanding about faith. So, if someone were to ask you to define “faith” how would you respond?
On The Let's Get Real Podcast, Rob shares with you a biblical and a practical understanding of this word “faith” from the context of the Bible and the Christian setting. While many believe that faith is believing something without evidence or believing something without seeing, Rob presents the five different definitions found in most popular dictionaries, and then lays out a three pronged understanding of a robust biblical faith.
You will want to share this episode with your friends and subscribe to The Let's Get Real Podcast. Rob also shares a thought of the direction of the ministry's A/V presence. If you have any questions or comments, please send them to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have a question that you would like Rob to address in a future podcast, send that in your email as well.
What makes Christianity unique from other religions? None of the other religions (Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, and Hinduism) have a founder who has risen from the dead. With that being said, if Jesus is truly risen from the dead, all these other religions and every ideology counter to Christianity are false. In this episode of The Let's Get Real Podcast, Rob gives you three truths that defend the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Those who do celebrate the Easter holiday focus on all kinds of things (chocolate bunnies, marshmallow Peeps, chocolate and real eggs). While all those things are fun, there is a deeper meaning to the Easter holiday that has its roots in an event in history that changes lives today. The death, burial and resurrection of Jesus are rooted in the center of the gospel message (1 Corinthians 15:3-8).
With our culture becoming more and more skeptical by the day, the truths and the content presented provide you with a source and a resource to share with your skeptical relatives and friends. If you are a skeptic listening to this episode, we welcome you. If you would like to get a printed resource of Rob's defense of the resurrection, you can send him an email at email@example.com and he will respond as soon as possible.
As we continue to lay the foundation for future podcasts, the the answer to the question, "What is a Christian?" gets many kinds of responses. Responses like being good person (something everybody tries to do for the most part), going to church and putting money in the offering plate, serving in a capacity at church, are all just some of the answers people give. But do those answers satisfy the question? Is there a difference between doing those things and being a Christian and doing those things?
On The Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob talks about what a Christian is from the three passages in the New Testament. After sharing that a Christian is one who has been redeemed by Christ, he then moves into a discussion on the nature of Christian conversion in order to explain the biblical meaning of being a Christian.
As you listen to this episode, engage what you are hearing and check out where you stand on this question. You may have an understanding that may be foreign to what you hear in this episode. If that is case Rob invites you to engage him with comments and questions. Please email Rob with any questions you have at firstname.lastname@example.org.
With religious pluralism seeking to have the front stage, Christianity is seen as just another religion to many? To the skeptic, some see Christianity is a means to control people. For others, confusion emerges with different stripes of that is called Christianity, from the heretical interpretations like the Prosperity Gospel, the New Apostolic Reformation, and Progressive Christianity to the non-Christian cults like the Church of Jesus Christ (of Latter day Saints) and Jehovah's Witnesses.
On The Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob answers the question, "What is Christianity?" going back to the origins to Whom it all starts with, Jesus Christ. Rob explains that those struggling with "organized religion" need to look at the historical Christian faith the way that it is originally intended, a personal relationship with the One Who is the Author and Finisher of our faith, Jesus Christ.
This episode is the second of three that Rob is sharing to set forth a foundation for addressing the basic questions of Christianity and addressing the subjects coming against the faith from the aberrant views that are present in our culture. As you listen to this (or any other) episode, please interact with what you hear and listen to. Rob extends an invitation to his listeners to not just engage the material and email him with any questions or comments you may have. You can send your questions/comments to email@example.com.
When you hear or think of the word, "church" what comes to mind? Ornate buildings? Organized religion? Control? Many people grow up in church, but may have never thought of the meaning of the church or what is the essence of the church?
In this episode of The Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob presents the meaning of the word, church and explains the church as both visible and local church is, of course, the physical churches that we see around us and around the world, as well as the members of those churches. The invisible and universal church, however, refers to all believers everywhere. But what does the terms visible and invisible church mean? What is the Christian Church and what is it supposed to do? What images is the church supposed to convey and is the Christian Church divided or united? And if it is united, as Rob will share, what is the message that unites all members of the invisible church?
This episode is the first brick of a foundational series that will move to addressing this issues the church is facing in a post truth culture. Do not miss next week's episode, when Rob answers the question, "What is Christianity?" As he moves through these subjects you will see how it will unfold into addressing the aberrant interpretations of church and Christianity.
Whether you have been turned off by the church, or have been raised in church, you will want to hear the explanations given this in this episode. If you have any questions, you can send those questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
After a few weeks of no podcasts, Rob shares about his health condition and the recent hospitalization and surgery. However Rob just does not share the time of being down and almost out for the count. He also shares how he took the opportunities to seek ways to share the gospel, even from the hospital bed. That's right. Did you know that God can use you in not just the high points of an evangelistic moment, but He can use you also when we are in our down times. Knowing this, you will find the blessing in whatever suffering is happening in your life. It could after coming out of and recovering from abdominal surgery or in the good time when all is well.
Rob also mentioned the coming new format and potential subject matter that he will be addressing in the coming weeks. You will want to subscribe and not miss an episode. Also to assist in your retention of material, Rob also will be shortening the podcasts to help you organize subjects and grab enough information to equip you for engaging your setting with the gospel. If you want to understand the present moment, especially how similar Wokeness seems to Mao’s Cultural Revolution, you have to understand the Italian communist Antonio Gramsci. Gramsci wrote a series of essays and books while imprisoned by the Italian fascists in the 1920s and 1930s that are referred to as his Prison Notebooks. These are the birthplace of Cultural Marxism. But what is Marxism?
With all the issues going on the in culture, with denominations embracing critical race theory and intersectionality, along with critical theory, we are seeing an ideology some never would have thought would be entering into the church. Many churches, parachurch groups, and even denominations passing resolutions which in turn to an ideology that does not line up with the historical Christian faith. The picture that we are seeing emerging with this progressive kind of Christianity is no longer a “gospel alone” message, but one that professes the “gospel plus economics.” The ideology that we are seeing making a comeback is known as cultural Marxism.
What is Marxism? Who started it and why does it fail in light of the gospel of Jesus Christ? I hope to answer these questions in this post. You might recall last week's show where Rob pointed out the incompatibility of socialism (an economic theory) with historical Christianity. In this podcast episode, Rob peels open the onion of Marxism and shows how it is an abysmal failure of the past and will be in the present.
Only a biblical worldview will provide the answers to the questions of origin, meaning, morality, destiny and being. And only the gospel of Jesus has the answer to man's social and moral ills.

During the recent Inauguration of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, this past week, we heard a lot of rhetoric involving words like "unity" "justice" "God" and "truth in his speech. But what do those words mean when one's platform is all about big government intervening in the lives of the nation's citizens. This form of government teeters in the balance of moving America from a Constitutional Republic to a democratic socialistic form of government.
Many Christians and non Christians think that Christianity is compatible with a socialistic ideal. Since every politician has a worldview, Rob addresses this issue of Christianity v Socialism from a worldview perspective, breaking open Acts 4:32-35 to how a socialist would misue this passage as a prooftext for bankrupt attempts. Rob shows from the passage how there is no reference to assume a state policy and no class of politburo or bourgeoisie present in the text.
This podcast show is the first of two, where Rob peels open the bankrupt views of socialism and Marxism (next week). You will want to have a notebook handy listening to these, and hopefully what you hear will open your curiosity to study these ideologies and come up with your own responses to them.

Imagine you are in a conversation with a friend from work and the conversation turns to a hot button moral subject. If you were asked for your position on the abortion issue, would you know how to answer it in such a way to where you don't sound like making the issue a matter of rights? Many today see us, who are pro life as tyrannical, accusing us of taking away women's rights. But is it a matter of rights or is it a matter of life?
On January 22, 1973, the Supreme Court of the United States set the course of battle for life in motion. On The Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob presents a pretty solid case for the defense of human life in the womb from the point of conception, framing his argument from scientific data, theology, ethics and philosophy. The attributes set forth in biology and physiology textbooks point to a Grand Creator Who knit us in our mothers in His image and likeness (Genesis 1:26, 27; Psalm 139, Genesis 4:10; Exodus 20:13). As part of his case, Rob also presents the objections of conception by rape (1% of the cases) and the "life of the mother" (3% of the known cases) and the issue of difficult ethical decisions when nothing else can be done.

With the having gone through some ideological shifts in the past ten years, we are getting ready to see another one with the coming of an administration change. Christians, now more than ever need to know the issues of culture and be prepared to navigate them with a goal of courageously and graciously sharing the gospel. The key ingredient in fulfilling our mission is knowing how to answer the objections we face day in and day out with the gentleness and respect that Peter tells us, in 1 Peter 3:15, to incorporate into our response. This mission is going to call for a reshaping of apologetics in the twenty-first century.
On The Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob takes us through Chip Ingram's (Living on the Edge Ministries) Yesterday/Today points about reshaping our understanding of apologetics. As you go through them, grab your notebook and write them down. Rob also refers listeners to listen in to Jon McCray's Whaddo You Meme video entitled, "Christians & Navigating Political Hell" to encourage believers to focus on your Christian walks and growing in the knowledge of your faith and of Christ during these days, rather than getting caught up in the politckal rhetoric between the aisles. We need to focus on Jon's encouragement and focus on living out the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:36-40) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20).

One of the outcomes of Western societies, such as in economics, gender, race, the environment etc are due to "immoral discrimination agains groups of people. According to the social justice movers and shakers, these evils have been embedded in social structures like the ones mentioned. Assumed is that the oppressed need to be liberated from their oppression. But how dyo the social justice crusaders see humanity, race, gender, et al. Do they see each individual as created in the image and likeness of the God that created them? Or do they see people based on the mentioned characteristics as victims of injustice(s)?
Happy New Year and welcome to The Let's Get Real with Rob Lundberg Podcast. On this episode, Rob seeks to explain how the social justices movements in our culture do not reflect a biblical worldview and reflect an ideology where justice will never happen because of how they see people and the issues surrounding them. Many of the proponents of the social justice movements come out of the emergent church movement and have re-emerged in what is today known as Progressive Christianity.
You will want a notebook and a pen as Rob mentions some terms that you will want to remember so that you can discern a conversation with someone's cause in the social justice movement. Rob also mentions a great resource for your library, Alisa Childers' book Another Gospel: A Lifelong Christian Seeks Truth in Response to Progressive Christianity, which speaks about her journey to biblical historical Christianity out of a Progressive Christian movement.

On the Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob wraps up this year's podcast with some reflections on 2020 and then presents a sobering look at where he perceives America headed looking at Romans 1:18-32. The Christmas holiday season is a upon us and knowing the reason for the season, this is a wonderful opportunity to share those reasons. The exciting part is that though miracles are a challenge to skeptics, we have a wonderful opportunity to share the miracle of the virgin birth. In this post, a couple of weeks before the holiday, I want to take some time to address the significance of Jesus’ virgin birth.
With all the attacks on the New Testament over the last few years, I thought I would post the material again. However, before we “go there”, many of the mythologies that claim to have “savior/virgin birth stories” are either forgeries, or fabrications that have been well after, even centuries of the prophecies and one hundred to two hundred years following the actual historical events. In either case, none of the mythology stories have a single shred of salvific value, since they were based on “myth.”
On the Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob addresses the significance of the virgin birth of Jesus showing the difference between the pagan myths by pointing to the prophetic nature of His birth from the place of His birth to the reason why He came. The baby in the manger not only was the One who created His mother, He also came to be the substitute payment for our sins. The gospel begins with Christ and is culminated with His resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3,4).

I am sure that every one of us, somewhere along the lines, has heard from some well-meaning individuals rail out, “with all sincerity, that we have no business celebrating Christmas, since the Bible gives no date for Christ’s birth? But is Christmas as we know it really a pagan holiday? On The Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob answers this question, revisiting an objection that came from back in 2007's movie blockbuster The Davinci Code. In response to the pontification of Dr. Lee Teabing, Rob present two responses.
First Rob points to the usage of festivals and holidays in the Old Testament and their purpose in worship for the nation of Israel. He then points out that anyone wanting to render day “off limits” because a pagan holiday already in existence on that date, there would not be many days left to celebrate anything. Pointing to Romans 14 and Colossians 2:17, Rob helps the listener understand where the apostle Paul gives his readers encouragement on the use of exercising the Christian conscience on matters that are not condemned.
The length of this show is just under 30 minutes but it is packed with information and a resource that Rob mentioned quickly about the coming "alignment" of two planets forming the alleged star of Bethlehem. Rob gives a quick answer and points to a resource that you will want to go to for more extensive information, Marcia Montenegro's Christian Answers for the New Age website speaking to the issues in today's show.

Is Jesus just a good moral teacher or another guru? Is Jesus just one of the Prophets of old and succeeded by the Islam's Muhammad? What does Islam have to say about who Jesus is? How is the life, work and ministry of Jesus far greater than the god-men of Hinduism (gurus)? What makes Jesus far superior to the Prophet Muhammad.
On The Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob addresses these questions and more in order to debunk the current perennial and pluralistic mindsets of our post truth culture. On the show today, Rob gives an honest and straight forward answer to the questions of why Jesus is greater than all the religious leaders that have enveloped the religious landscape. What is the greatest event that trumps all other events? You will want to listen and find out.

With the push in our culture for religious relativism and an underlying perennialism, the question of who is Jesus in the light of key religious figures. On The Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob presents a compare and contrast analysis of who Jesus versus Moses, Socrates, and Buddha. Rob shares a goal to debunk perennialism, the perspective in philosophy and spirituality that views all of the world's religious traditions as sharing a single, metaphysical truth or origin, by ,show how Jesus is superior.
This is the first part of presenting the supremacy of Christ versus the religious leaders of the world religions. Part 2 will cover Jesus versus the "godmen" of Hinduism and Jesus versus Muhammad. The apostle Paul warns about another Jesus (2 Corinthians 11:3,4 and Galatians 1:8,9), and in so doing points to the supremacy of Christ in Colossians 1:15-18. In like manner this episode seeks to show Jesus as supreme against the competing voices of our culture.

The internet is littered with allegations that the historical records of the life of Jesus are examples of a kind of religious plagiarism, a mere rehashing of dying and rising deities from ancient mythologies or a recycling of comment details found in many of the mystery religions in the ancient world around the time of Jesus' earthly ministry. While many people seeking to debunk Christianity, by Googling some of the names of ancient deities and see alleged similarities to the life of Jesus (His virgin birth, baptism, having a following of disciples, and more).
On the Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob sheds light on these common features, but shows how the mythologies do not line up with historical events of the life of Jesus of Nazareth. To do this Rob advances a response to the mythers claims by presenting two factual problems and a logical problem that puts to rest forever any concerns of Jesus being a recycled redeemer or a copy cat Messiah.
This is the first of a few shows on the uniqueness of Jesus as the true Savior for mankind. Do you know what the religion of a post Christian culture is? Do you know the undergirding philosophies driving that religion? Here are some hints: abortion rights, same sex marriage legislations, gay rights, rampant fornication and adultery. It is the "religion of sex" and the three philosophies are scientism, hedonism and materialism. With these competing to for the hearts, minds, and morality of the culture, the Christian church must hold up the biblical Christian worldview. But what is the Christian worldview when only 54%+/- American Christians embrace a biblical worldview (those numbers may be lower today).
On The Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob addresses eight to nine characteristics of the Christian worldview that are non-negotiable. With Christians competing for a voice in the culture, and forgetting their convictions at the polls, it is high time that the Church repent and regain ground by living out what we say we believe understanding those key ingredients of a biblical worldview.

With all that is happening in the climate of culture, the biggest concern for the Christian church should be how far behind the Eight Ball we really are with engaging what is potentially coming. Part of the reason is that thinking has taken a back seat to feelings and experience in the setting of faith. The other part of the equation is that the discipline of the mind and the task of apologetics appears to be more and more marginalized as we move forward to a boiling point in our culture.
On the Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob presents four points that answer the question "Is Apologetics Biblical?" In this episode, Rob gives a summary of the points: proves that
Apologetics is commanded in Scripture;
Human reason demands us to get and give answers to the challenges of the Christian faith and
The culture is demanding us for an answer for the reason for the hope within.
Rob also answers the objection of how the Holy Spirit intervenes using the evidence that various types of apologetics methodologies provide. If you are pastor or a ministry leader under the impression that all you need is Jesus and the Bible, this episode has been tailored for you. Thinking about where our culture is going, one cannot help wonder about the church's effectiveness in this post truth culture in reaching those without Christ. The truth is that every believer already, whether they realize it or not, does some form of pre-evangelism (apologetics) to the ones who are hostile to the gospel message. The question now becomes, do we want to continue to do it poorly or do we want to do it well? Is there are place for apologetics with evangelism?
On the Let's Get Real Podcast w/Rob Lundberg, Rob shares the difference between evangelism and apologetics, and then moves into sharing what apologetics cannot and can do. Following this groundwork, Rob presents three angles to show the importance of apologetics being brought into our evangelism in a post truth culture.
With all the ideologies vying for attention and affirmation in our culture, it is clear that there has been a tectonic shift where we need to step back and evaluate how we fulfill the evangelistic mission. There are many things to learn about the usages of apologetics. But one thing is for certain, with the rise of skepticism both inside and outside the church, apologetics should be the new discipleship. On the Let's Get Real Podcast, talks about the need for apologetics being a modern day discipleship. Part of this show, Rob addresses pastors and ministry leaders who take the "just give me Jesus and the Bible," showing them and others that the Bible is the best apologetics book in existence.
Rob uses the Bible to show how it can be used to provide a biblical defense of the faith by starting in the Old Testament and then moving to the New Testament with the gospels and the example of Jesus being the Master Apologist. You will want to have a pencil/pen and a pad ready to take notes as Rob gives many Scriptural examples where one can use to disciple and share with those to show why Christianity is a viable faith.

Where would you put the task of apologetics on the list of all other types of ministry in the local church? Whenever apologetics is mentioned in the conversation of the local church, people show a lack of interest, give a thousand mile stare or break out in a "spiritual rash"? With the rise of secularism in the American culture, and the influence of a "cancel culture" making its way in the church, Rob re-visits the subject of the definition of apologetics along with a handful of eight biblical points for apologetics based upon 1 Peter 3:15. After that, Rob then provides four beneficial reasons for why apologetics can no longer be ignored by pastors, ministry leaders and believers.
You will want to share this with your pastor or a fellow believer. In this show, Rob is transparent, compassionate and direct about the dire straights the church will find itself in if apologetics is ignored within a setting of tectonic shifts in our culture. If you have any questions or comments, you can email them to firstname.lastname@example.org or reach out to Rob on Facebook or Twitter.
If you were to ask your young person who Jesus is, what kind of answer will you get? Many youth groups today are only focusing on the relationship and issues, and not on the intellect on why Christianity is true. Hence over the last couple of decades many Christians cannot answer some of the basic questions about what Christianity is all about and why it is true.
In 2005 there was a seminal work by Christian Smith and Melissa Lundquist Denton entitled Soul Searching: The Religious and Spiritual Lives of American Teenagers. The main finding in this work was that that American teenagers are incredibly inarticulate about their religious beliefs, and most are virtually unable to offer any serious theological understanding.
On the Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob defines this moralistic therapeutic deism (MTD) from some the data from Smith and Lundquist, and explains how contemporary expressions of the Christianity are not reflecting a biblical understanding of Christianity to a post modern culture, let alone being prepared to engage the culture with the gospel of Christ.

Excluding the mind from the Christian life of worship is never a good thing. With a high percentage of Christians not embracing a biblical worldview, in light of the social and moral climate in America, the body of Christ is going to have a difficult time with another ideological paradigm shift looming on the horizon. Jesus tells us, in the Great Commandment to "love the Lord your God with all your heart, and all your soul and all your mind. . ." and yet only two thirds of that commandment are in fellowship with God. The final third, dealing with the Christian mind appears to be absent in many areas of the church.
On this week's Let's Get Real Podcast w/Rob Lundberg, Rob shares part III showing how anti intellectualism harms the Christian church by presenting eight areas where the Christian mind needs to be recovered. This is a riveting show that you will want to share with your ministry leaders and pastors. Rob lovingly pulls no punches and gives a polemic that is hard to be refuted. We invite you to interact with the material you hear and share your thoughts and comments with us via email.

Over the years Rob has had the opportunity to teach on subjects falling under the huge umbrella of Christian apologetics. Whenever those opportunities have arisen, he has been told that the church they attend has no interest in apologetics. Others have asked, why subjects like what they have learned are not taught in the churches. It is because of anti-intellectualism in the discipleship of the churches and coming from the pulpits. The fear of being too deep on the part of many pastors is selling short the people in the pews who are wanting to think deeply about their faith.
In Part 2 of this series Rob shares scriptural misnomers about anti intellectualism, and then shares seven suggestions for restoring the Christian mind in our churches. You will not want to miss this, and you may even want to share this with your pastors or ministry leaders. Join Rob as he gets real about the prevailing problem anti-intellectualism, the "trojan horse" in the American church. If you have any questions, please send them to email@example.com
Christian thinker and writer, Charles Malik once said, “I must be frank with you: the greatest danger confronting American evangelical Christianity is the danger of anti-intellectualism. The mind in its greatest and deepest reaches is not cared for enough.” On The Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob presents Five Theses on Anti-intellectualism in the church that should have all of us evaluating whether or not the mind is invited into our worship.
This episode is Part One of a multiple presentation on how anti-intellectualism has proved itself to be the trojan horse for dumbing down the Christian church over the last few decades. What Rob presents in this show will surely have you taking notes and taking stock on where you and your family members are in living out the Great Commandment presented by Jesus in Matthew 22:36,37. What do Americans think about Jesus Christ, the Bible, truth and ethics? A couple of weeks ago, Ligonier Ministries conducted their biennial survey called The State of Theology 2020. The results of this year's survey reveals the widespread confusion in the United States about the teachings found in the Bible. While the American population in general appears to be drifting away from accepting the truth of the Christian faith, the growing imminent health and social concerns in these days may be partly responsible for leading some to reconsider their views.
On The Let's Get Real Podcast, Rob shares some of the survey in starting with who is Jesus. One remarkable stat coming from the survey is that 35% for Evangelicals believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. Rob shares his thoughts on this as well as other insights on this show. If you would like to view the survey for yourself, please click on https://thestateoftheology.com/ to view the survey and the charts to give you the big picture of the condition our culture both socially and spiritually. Everybody has a worldview. If you don't think so, do you ever wonder about the decisions you make? Our moral choices and issues that we support or reject are all reflected in our worldview. Due to the Theology Study that came out this Thursday, Rob addresses the need for Christians to really understand and have an understanding of the Christian worldview. Many professing Christians do not understand the tenets of the Christian worldview, and that is reflected in what they are supporting on the social justice scene, being unawares of the worldview of many of the organizations that are hostile to the Christian worldview.
Rob calls believers to evaluate their choices based upon the Christian worldview and Scripture. Contact Rob with any questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If we were to look around, we find many groups vying for the microphone of our culture, each with their own interpretation of what is truth, what is right and wrong, and other views. When one determines their particular understanding of truth, all other views are subject to that subjective standard. That being stated, the question of the existence of truth is under assault in our culture from the college campus to the picketer and protester in the downtown streets.
Does truth exist? How do people understand truth from positions of agnosticism, skepticism, postmodernism, and relativism? On The Let's Get Real Podcast, Rob answers this question breaking down the various interpretations of how people determine their truth. He then moves to defining truth as that which corresponds to reality and shows how it is true for every person, in every place and for every time. This view is known as absolutism and Rob shows how it can be defended by turning the claims objecting to it on themselves.
If you have any questions or comments on this subject, Rob would like to interact with you, via email at email@example.com.
Behind every questioner there is the question that is stuck in the mind of the person making a decision difficult to trust Christ and become a follower of Him. One of the more challenging question is related to a loving God sending someone to hell. On The Let's Get Real Podcast, Rob answers this question from five different angles, and then moves on to answer the question about those who allegedly have never committed a sin under the Law of Moses. This issue is a multi-layered one addressing the question of children who have lost their lives "too early" or those children that have been aborted in the womb.
This is a loaded show, that you will want to listen to and share with your friends. The ideology of religious pluralism falls under the banner of cultural relativism, and states that all religions are simply different perceptions of the same ultimate reality. Many today believe that all the quantitative religious faiths are but different paths to one reality, God. There is a popular adage in the secular city which says that there are different mountain roads which all lead to the same summit. This has been the consensus of much of America over the last 30 years or so. However with the tectonic ideological shifts currently taking place, this thinking is aggressively making its roots deeper in our culture.
On the Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob addresses six issues that show religious relativism and pluralism to be a bankrupt ideology. On this episode, Rob moves from the law of non contradiction through the problems found in the fundamentals of the religions, and ultimately lands at the word of Jesus in John 14:6, where he says, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me." Did Jesu tell the truth? Was He delusional? Or is He Lord? Rob addresses these questions and a whole lot more.

It is amazing how terms from the East have penetrated the West through movies, radio and television. One term that is often used, is the word "karma." We hear it on war movies, as the Allies rain down "bad karma" on the enemy. We hear people use it in the context talking about various situations in life, whether good or bad (i.e., "my karma is with me today). Usages of this term in these contexts though, do not depict the real meaning of the word, "karma."
On the Let's Get Real Podcast w/Rob Lundberg, Rob presents a clear case of the real meaning of this word, and how the concept of "reaping and sowing" is totally misunderstood from both the Hindu karmic context, from the biblical principles of reaping and sowing taught in Scripture. Rob shows the attempt to combine this idea (of reaping and sowing) is a matter of two different worldviews, and the meaning in each of those worldviews. I think you will agree with Rob, after listening to this show, that the word "karma" should not be in any Bible believing Christian's vocabulary.

One of the popular questions about the Bible is "Why are there just 66 books in the Bible and no more additions with the ones that were found in the late 2nd and 3rd centuries?" In this 20 minute episode, Rob answers this question, pointing to the criteria used to determine the formation of the Old Testament and the tests used to determine the documents for the New Testament. Also in this episode, Rob lays out the criteria as to why The Apocrypha was not considered as part of the historical Christian canon. In this part he points out that there are too many issues with the historical inaccuracies and teaching doctrines that are contrary to the historical faith along with other issues. The Bible is a collection of 66 books that were written by eyewitnesses over a span of 1500 years, in three different languages and from three different continents. In follow up and in reference to a blog post that Rob wrote on the question, Is the Bible Really from God? Rob tackles the question, "Is the Bible Reliable?" Appealing to the bibliographical, internal and external tests, Rob lays out a case for its reliability.
During the show, Rob referenced a chart on the books of antiquity, the dates of the first copies and the gaps that are in between. Although he mentioned a PDF on this very subject. It is a PDF of The Update on the Bibliographical Test for Scripture by Drs. Josh McDowell and Clay Jones. As an added bonus, Rob is providing his listeners with the PDF Deck for a talk he has given on this subject. This presentation is loaded with with information to assist you in making a case for the reliability of the Bible in general and the reliability of the New Testament in particular.

Atheism is the belief that there is no God. At the same time, there is a haunting statistic that is decades old which shows that 75-88% of Christian young people are walking away from the faith and becoming atheists, agnostics or "Nones." This is a problem that is not going away, and Rob shares thoughts on the reasons why this phenomenon is still with us. He also points out that the culpability is not just on the church, but on the emotionally charged decision of the young person becoming a skeptic. At the same time, the Rob points out that the church needs to do a better job on training its young people to be ready for the objections that will hit them their first year of college or out in the marketplace, so that they will not be blindsided when they leave home.
Listen to this show, and share it with others. There are reasons for this happening. Some of them are valid, and most of them are not. Those that are valid need to be addressed by the Christian church, and parents. If you would like to discuss this further or pose a question based on what you have heard on this episode or any others, please email us at email@example.com. Someone will respond to your comment or question or resource request.
CNN’s Chris Cuomo ended a recent program by telling his viewers that America doesn’t need God; that what we need is within us. Closing his segment he said, “If you believe in one another and if do the right thing for yourself and your community, things will get better in this country. You don’t need help from above. It’s within us,” And he said this while pointing a finger to the sky.
The question "Why Do I need God?" is a thorny one and in this show today, Rob gives an answer to this question from the angle that without an objective framework, one will not be able to truly know their identity, their meaning and purpose and have an objective standard of morality. Rob sets out a few caveats in the beginning, one of which by stating that one does not want to confuse this question with the ideas of physical contentment versus spiritual contentment. He also points to those who claim to be free from religion that even those who embrace that claim. By quoting the atheists, naturalists and theists, Rob builds a case that concludes with an illustration from a popular biblical account and how that situation points to the cross of Christ.
Understand that many people who are physically and socially content do not feel that this is a question of utmost importance. Rob addresses this as well. As you listen to this presentation, write down some questions and send them to firstname.lastname@example.org. Rob will be more than happy to respond and interact with you.
You hear it from the talk shows to the professorial lectern, from the coffee shop conversations to the water cooler at work. Someone is bound to be a in a conversation on politics or religion, and when the religion hot button is pressed, someone will say, "you Christians are so narrow, don't you realize that all religions say the same thing?" This view is known as religious pluralism and it follows a cultural mood of pluralization that permeates our culture, where there are a competing number of worldviews and no one worldview is dominant.
On The Let's Get Real Podcast with evangelist and apologist, Rob Lundberg, Rob revisits the definition of a worldview and then shows that while all religions seek to teach right thinking, right feelings and right actions (as is the case in common with classical Buddhism), they do not teach the same things fundamentally. Rob shows how you can evaluate a religious worldview using the questions of origin, meaning, morality and destiny to defend how the culture answers these questions differently and thus prove that not all religions teach the same thing, with the goal of bringing the conversation into a gospel answer, showing how Jesus and the historical Christian faith answers the questions for a heart and mind looking for answers.
During the show, Rob mentioned a resource that he is offering for free that will help you see the differences in the religions and their worldviews. You can find that resource by clicking on the following link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xJd9bPQ5Oo72EyqRX52ndUeYbmAE83X9/view?usp=sharing.. What is faith? Is it a disease of the mind? Is it a virus in our culture? It is believing in something that you cannot see or that you have no evidence for? Many Christians and skeptics have a misunderstanding, and misrepresentation of this word, "faith." What is biblical faith? On the Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob presents the various dictionary definitions of faith. Then he moves to Hebrews 11:1 and breaks down the meaning of the verse before moving into a practical definition that moves true biblical faith away from a blind faith. Biblical faith is full of real hope, and evidence to back it up.
With the pandemic, and the coming gathering storm raging against the values of the Christian faith Rob calls you to get real about your faith and how you can build it into the kind of faith that will be rooted to weather the cultural storms. Today we are looking at a period of time where Christians are going to be tested. As we consider the possibility of a postmodern culture's challenges, it is now no longer time to slough off about what we believe and why we believe it. We need to get back to the basics of understanding the historical Christian worldview.
On The Let's Get Real Podcast with Rob Lundberg, Rob shares the essentials of the historical Christian worldview. The reason why he does it because not many Christians are able to articulate the Christian worldview and when the "happy pagan" challenges the average believer on what they believe, the answers hardly match the essentials of our Christian worldview
The Let's Get Real podcast is a great starting point for learning more about what the Christian worldview holds. In future shows you will hear Rob defend the Christian worldview, and learn how you can do the same. So Let's Get Real! Let's get real and discuss the Essentials of the Christian Worldview.
If you have any questions or if you would like Rob to address a question on any of the future shows, please send your thoughts and questions to email@example.com
In James Sire's prolific book, The Universe Next Door, he defines a worldview as, “a commitment, a fundamental orientation of the heart, that can be expressed as a story or in a set of presuppositions (assumptions which may be true, partially true or entirely false) which we hold (consciously or subconsciously, consistently or inconsistently) about the basic constitution of reality, and that provides the foundations on which we live and more and have our being.”
This means that EVERYONE who has ever been born has a worldview. On The Let's Get Real Podcast w/Rob Lundberg, Rob unpacks Dr. Sire's definition and shows how to evaluate a worldview based on 5-8 questions. Using just five questions: origin (where do I come from?), meaning (why am I here? or what is the purpose for my existence?), morality (where do right and wrong originate?), destiny (where am I going after this life is over?) and being (who am I?), Rob demonstrates that how many people have different answers to these questions and many of those answers are vastly different from everyone else's. But more importantly, he points out that in answering these five questions it is highly important that each of one's answers cohere with the answers of the previous question(s).

Many Christians have a misunderstanding of the interaction of apologetics and evangelism. But aside of apologetics being a confidence builder reinforcing faith, and a means of discipleship, there is another context for apologetics that is equally important, and that is evangelism.
On the first inaugural show of the Let's Get Real with Rob Lundberg, Rob takes you through a biblical look at apologetics in the context of apologetics as pre-evangelism and the role of questions. What do questions do?
Rob explains how questions get the person you are conversing with to think, expose the contradictions they may be believing, define the issues in the conversation, expose the motives of the objection, and address moral concerns against God.
The same online location with a new name, that will streamline the message, with new music, and a new format (shorter but full of streamlined content) and without the commercials interrupting the flow of the episode. We hope you like it.

Socrates once said, "the unexamined life is a life not worth living." But how does that work when it comes faith and belief? Rob confronts this question by setting the premise that the unexamined faith is a faith not worth believing; and he applies this not just toward believers. He also challenges skeptics listening to The Real Issue Podcast, to challenge him to defend their skepticism.
In this show Rob puts forth four reasons for believers to be able to defend what and why they believe in Christ: 1) The Bible commands it; 2) Reason demands it; 3) Our world is crying out for us to give it the reason for hope in a world groping for hope in a pandemic culture; and 4) the results for skeptics coming to the faith have had the Holy Spirit's help in using the evidences that point to the gospel.
As part of the show today, Rob welcomes his listeners to send an email and dialogue with him on why they hold to the beliefs they do, either from a Christian or a skeptical perspective. IF you choose to do that know that someone from the team will relay the message to Rob and he will be more than happy to interact with you. You can send your email response to firstname.lastname@example.org.

It has been said that many people do not want the truth and just want the constant reassurance that what they believe is the truth. Perhaps you have been in a conversation with someone who retorted something like "that's true for you" or "I am glad you have your beliefs and that they work for you." It is like this with many people who embrace their own truth out of matters of pragmatism or personal preference. So the question is, what would happen if you have the truth issue wrong?
On The Real Issue Podcast, Rob goes back to SQUARE ONE of his apologetics methodology to define what is meant by truth. What is the meaning of truth and how should it play out in all our lives? Rob also takes you back to the First Principle that truth exists, and that the law of non-contradiction is vitally important in evaluating claims coming from those who embrace a form of relativism.

I don’t know if you realize this or not, but the problem with America is not America. The problem with America is the church. These sound like harsh words, but I think we can see that there is an overwhelming cloud of anti-intellectualism in the church that is hurting the Church in fulfilling the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. And that problem is widespread in the church at large today.
On The Real Issue Podcast, Rob provides the reasons how we got to where we are by tracing the history of American Christianity from the Puritans and the Pilgrims with their pursuit of cultivating the Christian mind down through the three assaults that caused the American Church to turn inward and abandon the evangelical mind for a feelings and an experiential faith. From there he describes what the church looks like and gives some suggestions on how to regain lost ground. You won't want to miss this episode.

You hear it from the Mormon missionaries that come knocking at your door: "the Bible has been corrupted and much of what was in it was lost, and the Church of Jesus Christ (of Latter Day Saints) has the restored gospel, after it disappeared from the Earth." But is this true?
On The Real Issue Podcast, Rob takes on the challenge coming from Mormon elders over the years to prove that the Book of Mormon is a false testimony. Looking to Deuteronomy 18:20,22 as the measuring stick for determining a prophet of God, Rob takes on the books of 1 and 2 Nephi and Alma, as well as Joseph Smith's prophecy in Doctrine and Covenants Sec 84, showing how they do not measure up to the Deuteronomic standard.
Rob also brings to light that which the Bible has a plethora of ancient manuscripts and external sources, the Book of Mormon cannot compete with that truth. As part of the test, Rob also brings in the prophecies of Micah 5:2 on Jesus' birthplace, Isaiah , Daniel, and David to show how the Bible stacks up and where Nephi, Alma miss the mark. You will not want to miss this show and will want to take notes and share with your LDS friends and relatives.

Is Jesus the eternal God in human flesh, second Person of the Trinity? Or is he a created being like you and I and ascended into "Godhood?" Was Jesus born born by virgin birth or was he brought forth through process of procreation between a resurrected God and Mary? Did the atonement for our sins occur at the cross, or did the process begin in the Garden of Gethsemane? Is Jesus the eternal God or did he ascend to be a god? If you are speaking to an Evangelical Christian or a member of the Church of Jesus Christ (of Latter Day Saints (Mormons)), you are bound to get different answers on each of these questions.
This being the alleged bicentennial year for the group which began around the 1830's, the Latter Day Saints are going to be campaigning their image to the public through television and social medial. As Christians we need to be able to respond should missionaries come knocking at your door sharing their false message.
There are only two religions that have been brought about by angelic proclamation (Islam and the Mormon Church). Rob unpacks these questions, tapping into his file and taking the time to respond to an Instant Message from a Mormon elder.
Rob referenced sharing a doc during the show that can be found in the following link: File link as referred in the show. This will be the first in a series of shows that The Real Issue Apologetics Ministry will be doing on this group.

When you hear the word "cult" many people think of Jonestown or the Branch Davidians. While there are different ways of looking at cults, from both the sociological and theological, the church is showing more and more signs of theological error coming in, ranging from New Age ideologies, historically heretical ideas. But a couple of the more popular cults are the Mormons and the Jehovah's Witnesses. While they use very similar terminologies to the Christian church, the meanings of those terms are foreign to historical Christian teaching.
On The Real Issue Podcast, Rob takes a look at these two cults from a theological angle using the mathematical operations (of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) to give you, the listener, an easy way of recognizing what the important differences are between historical Christian teaching and false teaching.
Rob also mentions two great resource ministries for you to go to for further research: Watchman Fellowship and The Apologetics Index. You can also check out Rob's website link page for more resources to assist you in learning more. If you have any questions please email us at email@example.com.

What makes Christianity different from other religions? It is that the Founder of the Christian faith rose from the dead. As you celebrate this Easter season, Rob shares three formidable truths that give validity to Jesus’ resurrection. His resurrection was foretold in the Old Testament, prophesied by Jesus himself, and those who claimed to be eyewitnesses were willing to die for believing in a resurrected Christ. In the second part, he shares some ways you can remember about the truth of the resurrection listing and explaining a few of the 7 E's for the Resurrection (Early Testimony, Eyewitness Testimony, Embarrassing Testimony, Excruciating Testimony, Extra-biblical Testimony, Enemy Attestation, and External Sources). Rob does not address all them, but you will hear about a lot of them throughout the show

Muslims claim that Jesus never died on a cross using just one verse of the Qur'an. Skeptics want to throw down objections that Jesus never died or that He swooned on the cross. Aside of the fact that no one walks out of a tomb after being dead, we have to look at who Jesus is, and what He went through to pay the debt that sinners owe a holy God. On The Real Issue Podcast, Rob presents eight evidences that show that Jesus really died and gives some of the details that coincide with the gospel accounts.
On the show today, Rob mentions the Journal of American Medicine Association article, published in 1986 by Dr. William D. Edwards, "On the Physical Death of Jesus." You can find the link to the abstract here. For other treatments of this subject, you can find a good article by Dr. David Teresaka on "The Medical Aspects of the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ"
But if Jesus did die, and there is evidence to prove it, what was the big deal? What makes. the crucifixion of Jesus so important especially to those who believe and to those yet to believe? In Part 2, Rob gives three reasons that show the love of God, the holiness of God and the power of God that point to His substitutionary death, His role as our sin bearer, and Him truly being the Savior so many need for their eternity.

If you were asked, "Who is Jesus?" how would you answer the question? Would you just leave it that He is your Savior, or could you give a reason as to why Jesus is the Savior of mankind? Jesus has received a lot of attention as a good teacher or just a good man. For Christians Jesus of Nazareth is the one and only Savior for the sins of man. The cults and the world religions have their own view.
On The Real Issue Podcast, Rob gives several reasons why Jesus is the only true Savior, and explains those attributes that qualify Jesus to fit that role. This show is not one that fails the blood test when it comes to how the gospel message is centered on Jesus.

Why does God allow evil things like the Covid-19 (Corona virus) to plague millions of people? Skeptics would say that if God is all loving, He would not allow it and if He was all powerful He would do away with it. But since it exists, He cannot exist.
But is this true? Rob presents his case for the problem of evil using the Corona virus as an example responding to the charges by the 18th century philosopher David Hume. He also provides a definition of evil, and then gives the Christian answer to the problem by pointing to an act of evil done to an innocent Man who demonstrated the love, justice and forgiveness of God as the ultimate answer to the problem of evil. You will not want to miss this show as it is packed with a sound case to show that the problem of evil is one of the best ways to demonstrate the existence of God.

When self created celebrities like Rhett and Link abandon the faith for an agnosticism of openness and uncertainty, what did their faith look like? While that cannot be answered, Rob dives into the meaning of faith and what it means to have a real Christian faith. In this show, Rob pulls no punches explaining that faith involves three key ingredients: knowledge, belief and trust. Celebrities or not, faith in the Christian sense is loaded with evidences or else it is a blind faith. Check out this episode of The Real Issue Podcast and learn what a real faith looks like.

The question of God's existence is the most fundamental question still hotly debated by those on both sides of the belief line. Is truth knowable? In our culture today we are seeing truth dying on the streets of our culture from the media, the halls of academia and even in levels of government. Many people today commit fundamental fallacies in trying to push forward their subjective ideas. On The Real Issue Podcast, Rob explains the difference between subjective and objective truth claims. After he shows how the law of noncontradiction is the fundamental for understanding basic truths and how it can be used to refute claims. In the second part of the show, Rob teaches you how you can turn the claim on itself by thinking through the truth objection and then turning the claim on itself.

With all the talk about social justice in the legal, political and religious circles, Rob revisits this topic on "social justice" and how it differs from biblical justice and a right understanding of the gospel. Does justice have a biblical ground? Yes. Does the "social justice" movement center itself on a biblical worldview? No. In fact it rooted in a pseudo egalitarian form of socialism that creates a vicious circle of oppression where there is no short of amount of people being oppressed. What is the biblical view of social justice according to God's Word?
Get ready for a heavy show as Rob as seeks to crack open the trojan horse of the culture's idea of social justice creeping into the church. Rob appeals to two sources in this show. One is R. Today is Sanctity of Human Life Sunday and many Christians find themselves seeking ways to show that life begins at the point of conception. The battle lines were drawn in the sand with the famous Roe v Wade, making abortion legal. But what is legal does not mean that it is lawful. What does science say about life in the womb at conception (embryology)? What do the ethical challenges tells us about the "morning after worldview" when the decision is made to terminate a pregnancy? Many of us know what the Bible says about how God sees life from the point of conception.
In this episode of The Real issue Podcast, Rob puts forth his defense of the sanctity of human life, beginning at the point of conception, using science, ethical questions, and Scripture (in that order). He also points to the forgiveness of Christ for those who have been through the trauma of going through a terminated pregnancy.

What we have a lack of interest in is what we choose to ignore. Why is the church ignoring apologetics when there are credible reasons for its validity in the ministry of the church? With the fallout of our young people due to a rising secular culture, Rob share in this show why we should not ignore apologetics, and provides some insights on how to get involved now in this necessary discipline for contemporary discipleship.

One of the popular movements characterized in American Christianity is the Word Faith movement, also known as the Prosperity Gospel. The major vehicle of the false teaching of this movement is the Trinity Broadcasting Network, which broadcasts many of the programs and services from Word Faith Teachers like Joyce Meyer, Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar, Morris Cerullo, Kenneth Hagin, Benny Hinn and others. What do they teach, and how are the teaching of these false teachers in conflict with sound biblical theology?
In this show, kicking off 2020 on The Real Issue Podcast, Rob opens up the paper tiger of the Word Faith teachings, and shows what the problems are and where to solve the problems with a proper understanding of Scripture. How does apologetics impact our worship as Christians? How does evidence impact our love for the Lord? It is said that the more you know about God the more you love Him. Evidence can be used by the Holy Spirit to point a person to Christ and the finished work of the cross, as it did for Rob in 1980.
The discipline of apologetics leads to a balanced Christian walk that demonstrates our living the life we defend, no matter the critics' challenges to our faith. Apologetics provides confidence and a witness in the conversation. But apologetics also is a catalyst for our worship as Christians. As it was for the Apostle Thomas at Jesus' resurrection appearance the evidence we see today and hear of today from those who walked where Jesus walked, visited the site where King David built the palace are all real. That makes the reasons for our faith REAL. In this final episode for 2019, join Rob for an evidence packed show.

We here at The Real Issue Apologetics Ministry want to thank our listeners in 2019 and look forward to 2020. May you and yours have a very happy, and reflective New Year, and as you enter the new year, remember that the conversations that you engage in as ambassador of Christ, you are a diplomat with a message for one mission. . . to "go out and give 'em Heaven."
Merry Christmas! It's Christmas time, and conversations are stirring about the holiday and how one celebrates Christmas. Perhaps conversations come up about why we as Christians celebrate Christmas? It is not all about the jingle bells and trees. Those things are fun, but on a more significant note, Christmas is about celebrating the first Advent of Jesus Christ by means of His virgin birth.
What significance does the virgin birth of Jesus mean for Christianity? Does it play an important role in the truth of the miracle of Jesus' virgin birth. Join Rob on The Real Issue Podcast as he answers these questions and a whole lot more.

One of the most "formidable objections" that pop atheists use to come after Christianity is that the story of Jesus' birth and resurrection are spinoff stories of pagan mythologies like Mithras, Horus, Dionysius or some other pagan deity. The main claim is that all of these stories of the pagan deities claim a virgin birth on December 25th.
Welcome to The Real Issue Podcast. On our show today Rob examines the claim from the pagan story of Mithra. With us coming upon Christmas time, many advocates coming from the atheist camp claim that Jesus is a copycat of the pagan deities and thus He really did not exist. Rob crushes this objection painting the picture of mythicists, provide a few examples on WHY Jesus is the real original and not the pagan gods. He also examines the claims of Mithraism and why Jesus stands atop of all claims coming from the pagan religions.

What do we mean when we make the statement, "I have faith!" Does one's faith validate what one believes is true? No. Does faith prove your religion to be true? No. What does it mean to have faith? In a confused culture and church, where faith is seen as believing something with no evidence, is that reasonable?
Welcome to The Real Issue Podcast where we take a look at these questions and a whole lot more. In this episode, Rob unpacks what it means to have a reasonable faith and then moves to define faith, and show that having a biblical faith is bolstered and reinforced with forensic evidence for the Christian faith. Many Christians believe that reasons are not necessary to have faith. Rob dispels that error and shows that a faith that is not examined is really a blind faith.

With the Thanksgiving holiday coming upon us, we here at The Real Issue Apologetics Ministry would like to wish you and yours a very happy and reflective Thanksgiving. This show today is a replaying of a past show on the subject of the Social Justice Movement versus what the BIble has to say about justice.
With the results of the recent state elections, we need to understand these two issues and why the social justice movement has no commonality with historical Christianity.
We are thankful for all of you who encourage and pray for our ministry. Pray for us as we finish out 2019 and look forward to 2020, prayerfully with a "longer leash" for reaching the church and those who have questions about the Christian faith. If you would like to know how you can assist us at The Real Issue, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
The problem in many of our churches today is anti-intellectualism. One of the catalyst for this is due to two plagues in the church reflecting the mishandling of the Word of God. In this show Rob opens with a presentation on what the terms exegesis, eisegesis, narcigesis, and "lazigesis," what these terms mean, how they are played out and the spiritual danger that eisegesis, narcigesis and "lazigesis" can bring with them through some of the aberrant movements in the church today.
With unbiblical movements infiltrating the church, not having a proper approach to Scripture opens up the believer in general and the church at large to "every wind of doctrine to come in and destroy the testimony of a local church.
In this show you will learn the definitions and how they are playing themselves into the fray of many churches. In the second part of the show, Rob shares how there is a gross misunderstanding of how scholarship aides the church. Some preachers posit that one does not need scholarship when one has the Holy Spirit. Rob answers this short-sighted objection by showing how blind spots cloud thinking deeper on the truth claims of the Christian faith. Still keeping the main things the plain things and vice versa, Rob shows how it is okay to go deeper and love God more in the process.

The Bible is a library of 66 books from 40 different writers, writing historical documents from three different continents, in three different languages, and they were recording supernatural events that were in direct fulfillment of specific prophecies. What makes the Bible special? In the second part of this show, Rob brings in eight things that Jesus believed about the Scriptures.

Have you ever tried to share the gospel with someone, and the moment you give chapter and verse the conversation is shut down? Has someone ever thrown down an objection in your conversation that prohibited you from getting the conversation to the sharing of the good news of Christ and the salvation He offers?
In this show Rob shows how apologetics and evangelism are different, but very compatible and biblical for reaching the culture with the truth and the gospel of Christ. If you are used to the "old way" of sharing and are still stuck in that mode, Rob shares some ways to help you understand that we need to be conversational in our approach in this ever increasingly skeptical culture. Check out this show, and if you have any questions, send them to email@example.com.
In this show Rob also shares a prayer request in the opening and then moves to:
* giving you definitions for evangelism, and apologetics (pre-evangelism)
* sharing the differences in the usages of evangelism (for every believer) and when apologetics should come into the setting.

The Real issue Apologetics Ministry is a ministry seeking to persuasively communicate the transforming truth of who Jesus is and equipping Christians to do the same. We are equipping the believer to think, and engaging the thinker to believe.
In a real world where truth is absolute, it is hard to believe that people can hold to relativism. One the Real Issue Podcast, Rob shares about the nature of absolute truth in a culture that operates on personal preferences, or practical relativism. In this show you will get a quick response to the four secular views of agnosticism, skepticism, postmodernism, and relativism. This part will sound a lot like what you may have heard in a past show on how to turn the claim on itself.
Rob then moves to addressing what truth is not, and then moves to show that truth is that which corresponds to reality and how it is absolute.

Keep Rob in prayer during the week, as he shares about some upcoming changes.
"Judge not" is the cultural mantra that has created a messy obstacle for Christians to understand and give a response. When someone or businesses use the word toleration, they are referring to a misunderstanding the implies one affirms that which they disagree. What is the cultural meaning of toleration and why does it not line up with the true meaning of the word and a biblical understanding? What is multiculturalism in a post Christian culture and how do these terms conflict with the idea of absolute truth?
Rob responds to these questions and lays out how Christians can be respond to the cultural accusations of intolerance and bigotry with gentleness and respect when believers. But first we need to understand the times and the terms, so that a response can be given. In this show you will understand terms like:
*Absolute truth being true for every person, place, and for every time.
*Tolerance where we can disagree and still treat the person with intrinsic value and worth.
* Multiculturalism and how all cultural ideas do not equal one another in meaning.
* And the importance of listening to the claim and giving a thoughtful and articulate response.

With the culture spinning sidewards with gender confusion and sexual hedonism, we need to know how to get the conversation started or know what to ask to counter a cultural hot button question. In this show Rob presents the Top Ten Cultural Questions you can use to stay in a conversation with a non Christian. Questions like, Do you consider yourself a tolerant person? Where do rights come from? Does love require approval and do you ever disagree with those you love? And more.

Everybody holds to a worldview that guides their decision making in every facet of their lives. What is the Christian worldview? What does it mean to hold to the biblical Christian worldview. The Barna Institute has come out with some statistics that show that percentage is quite low for those who profess to be Christians, showing that they do not embrace a biblical worldview, but one that more or less falls in line with moralistic therapeutic deism. How will your worldview stack up with the material Rob presents in this show today. Tune in and listen and engage the material. We all see the COEXIST bumper sticker on cars all over our roads. The letters spelling out the word, use religious symbols from various religions, trying to say that we need to all coexist by affirming one another's beliefs. But how does that work out when all religions teach fundamentally contradicting teachings? In this show Rob shows how intolerant the COEXIST bumper sticker really is and then presents four questions for evaluating a religious worldview.

The popular cultural understanding is that all the gods of the religions are the same or the Judeo Christian God does not exist except in theory alone. In this show, Rob dispels both objections giving an answer to the religious pluralism claim that all deities are the same using three statements: (1) God made all (2) God is all and (3) No God at all.

Are there good reasons to engage in apologetics as a spiritual discipline? In this show, Rob gives four reasons why we need to be able to defend the faith in our post Christian culture that is laced with faulty ideologies both outside and inside the church. With our culture "spinning sidewards" Rob shows how Scripture commands believers to defend the faith, and that reason demands that we defend the faith. After these two thoughts, he shows how the culture is crying out for reasons to believe and that God is providing the results. Yes, there are results and Rob share four people where the Holy Spirit used evidences to draw them to saving faith.

3. “If there is no God, why is there something rather than nothing?”
4. “Who do you Believe Jesus of Nazareth was?”
5. “Why do the New Testament Documents Exist? Who wrote them?”
6. “Why would devout Jewish men invent a resurrected Jesus and then suffer and die for their own lie?”
7. “Do you think there is an afterlife?”
8. “What do you mean by that?”
9. “How did you come to that conclusion?”
10. “Have you ever considered . . .”

Christians young and old appear to be very inarticulate about what they believe and why they believe it. Views of God, salvation, and understandings of other religions have become clouded by the relativism of our culture. Is God a deity that is only needed when we need to be rescued from something bad? Moralistic Therapeutic Deism is the popular expression of "American Christianity" which is totally foreign to the historical Christian faith. On this show you will learn the answers to:
What is moralistic therapeutic deism?
What makes it a competitor to historical Christianity?
How can we recognize moralistic therapeutic views and respond to them?
With the defections of key Christian leaders in recent weeks learn that the need for a biblical hermeneutic and apologetics is needed in our churches.

When you think of the New age worldview, one might think of karma and pantheism. But when it comes to science in the New Age worldview, we are also not to consider naturalistic evolution though the new age wants to borrow from a macro evolution. The main pursuit in the spiritual evolution is a new consciousness that redefines man's condition, and who Jesus is. There is nothing compatible with the Biblical worldview. Find out why in this show on the cosmic chaos of new age science.

Brad Pitt declares, “It’s taking everything you’ve learned from your parents and school and finding out what works for you and what you have to offer. The important question is, ‘What feels right for you?’” Shirley MacLaine reminds us, “It [is] not possible to judge another’s truth.” Such is the mantra of the ethics of the New Age (Cosmic Humanism) worldview. While there seems to be nothing new under the Sun with relativism, the New Age puts a karmic spin that needs to be responded to, and Rob does just that.

Like every other worldview, New Age theology forms the foundation for all other aspects of its worldview. However, the New Age movement (Cosmic Humanism) differs from Christianity, Islam, and the secular worldviews in that it embraces neither theism nor atheism. Rob shows how the New Age worldview believes all things are divine, or a part of God: people, rocks, trees, stars, etc. Since everything and everyone is a part of God we have to get in touch with the “god within” to achieve total cosmic unity.

Last week we addressed eight reasons why slavery in the Bible is not the modern day understanding of slavery. In the Bible could slave owners keep slave for a long period of time or was that time limited? Does the Bible teach that slaves could be beaten without repercussions? What were the limitations put forth by God? Does the Bible condone a form of slavery that violates the image and likeness of God prescription of Genesis 1:26,27?
In this show Rob addresses and answers two objections put forth by skeptics on this subject. You will not want to miss the answers to these questions and a whole lot more.

Of all the ethical challenges coming from atheists, slavery is a big one. Does the Bible prescribe or describe slavery? Many of the new atheists like to say that because the God does not stop slavery, He must not be worthy of our worship? What does the BIble have to teach us about slavery? Rob answers these questions and gives eight thoughts with regards to how the Bible truly views slavery. You might be surprised that there is a key ingredient to the Judeo Christian faith that was central to how slavery was regulated and mitigated in the Old Testament. Rob also addresses the issue of modern day slavery and the slavery of the antebellum South during the Civil War.

Does apologetics help in solidifying one's faith, bolster church discipleship, and create a DNA for the church to grow in its missions and evangelism? Over the years many of us have heard from well-meaning Christian school and homeschool parents that when their kids leave home that they will not walk away from their faith, becoming part of the statistic that 75-88% of Christian kids are walking away from their faith. They immediately appeal to Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Even though this is a passage from the Bible, and the Bible does not err, this maxim is totally misunderstood by many parents when it come to the first phrase, "Train up a child. . ."
In this show, Rob tries to leave no stone unturned in showing the problem, and explaining the difference between teaching your child what Christian says, and training them why Christianity is true. If Christians will give an ear, it will serve to be a great catalyst for lowering the fallout. In this show, Rob is not spouting off without providing you with resources.

When it comes to apologetics, Scripture commands it, reason demands it, the culture is crying out for an answer, and the church needs it to ward off deception and to fortify believers' faith in their discipleship.

Imagine that you are in a classroom in a humanities course, when the professor uses an illustration of different doors and walkways coming in to the building. And they say that those walkways and doors are like different religious paths to the same God. Is this true? Do all religions teach the same things? What does it mean that there are superficial similarities, but fundamental differences? How do the questions of origin, meaning, morality and destiny help us in refuting the COEXIST bumper sticker mentality, showing how they CONTRADICT? Join Rob as he peels open the onion of religious pluralism and answers these questions.

Is science at war with faith or is it the other way around? In this show Rob shows that there is no war, and how the scientific community "atttacking faith" is couched in atheism. What does this mean? What it means is that science does not say anything, but scientists due, and there is a war of worldviews in the science academy. Rob also addresses the problem that church pastors and youth ministers are neglecting their responsibility in equipping their church in engaging this debate, and where youth ministers need to encourage the discussion with their students to encourage those wishing to enter into a scientific discipline from a biblical worldview. Is apologetics a needed task in the Christian church? Rob shows how Scripture commands us to give a reason for the hope we have. Reason demands that we articulate the Christian faith to ourselves and to others. Lastly the culture is crying out for truth, thinking that it can find it on its own. We need to be able to articulate our faith to those how ask and to those that God brings to us.

With the culture doing all it can to desacralize sex, family, gender, human life, and marriage, Christians need an intelligent understanding of what faith really means and how it plays out in our daily lives. This show brings out an article from The Stream speaking to this issue, and joins in to give a clarion call to the church and her pastors to equip the people of what is coming in our culture. How then shall we live? We can no longer one decision Christians but need to take the next step to be trained to engage the culture with the love of Christ with the goal of sharing the gospel.

With all the new age terminology buzzing around, many well meaning Christians believe that karma is compatible with the biblical worldview. But is it as many claim compatible with the Bible's teaching of sowing and reaping? Or is it foreign to the biblical worldview and a term that we need to avoid? Rob gives an explanation of what karma is and what one would need to believe for it to be true, and compatible with the biblical worldview. In the second part of the show, he shows how the Bible's teaching of sowing and reaping is a foreign thought to the concept of karma and for that we need to move away from bandwagon fallacies and away from using the term in our vocabulary. He also shares the confusing inconsistencies when it comes to using term "karma" in our evangelism to New Agers, Hindus and Buddhists.

Some of us may have heard that Jesus did not address the subject of same sex attraction and same sex marriage. But is this true? In this show Rob addresses a recent video promoting the idea of being presented as promoting "polyamorous relationships." In speaking to the four views of love, Rob shows the confusion of the use of the word "love" in the video by presenting four kinds of love, and then what Jesus had to say in the gospels about same sex relationships. You may be in for a surprise and encouraged to know that He did, and that there is a way you and I can lovingly share with those entrapped in sexual sin. This is a tough but loving presentation that you will want to share with fellow Christians and with those who may be ensnared in these kinds of relationships.
