Soul to Surface

Maybe life is not about finding the meaning of life, but more about finding the meaning in life!

We can choose to lift ourselves and others up or tear down, both comes with results but only one has sustainable value, so why wouldn’t we choose that one.

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, how we relate to others, and how we make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.

Because with any change comes choice and the next one you make could be the difference between life and death, and you should remember if you still have air in your lungs then your journey in this life is way from being over yet

We all spend our time in different ways which is a beautiful thing about life.
side note: the uniqueness of any person is the beauty and value of every person. We have to realize that no matter how we size it up everything begins with each one of us internally and that is the starting line to the journey of life’s finish line.

There are two sides to every thing but in the end we all have our own story

If we could all just Care enough to be enough, not just when it’s convenient but when it’s inconvenient, then we can do enough to be enough for ourselves and each other and the conclusion is we are all better for it and the world is a better place because of us and not despite us. Let’s work to live without regrets and loving without limitations, and give thanks for your life by loving yourself and others through daily gratification.

It truly begins with this one question, We have to decide one thing each day will we allow the day to control us or are we going to step up and step out and control our perspective and point of view on of how we see each day.

Being motivated to Loving oneself is easiest during times of convenience because not much effort and time is required, but learning to love oneself during inconvenience is how your life truly becomes inspired.

We need to remind ourselves that the opinions of others about us is way less important then the opinion, and value we have of ourselves. We don’t have any control over what people say but they don’t have any control on what we absorb, how we respond and what we do.

The Past and the Future are both Fictional items the Present is the only Non-Fictional thing we truly have. So don’t ignore it, don’t waste it, and don’t wish it away, but live in it, embrace it, and always want it to stay!

Please understand The shared thought segment is nothing more or nothing less then my perspective and point of view, my thoughts they aren’t meant to be right or wrong they are only meant to be shared thoughts so that maybe they will spark others to think and then initiate good Old fashion and much needed conversation consisting of honest and truthful dialogue between people with good intentions filled with empathy, compassion, grace, forgiveness and love so that we can be the difference in this world that we all truly want to see and be which we can do one person at a time, sounds like a simply solution to something that we have over complicated, but when we unite and come together there are no limitations on what can be accomplished we only have to care enough about ourselves and each other to make the choice to be enough for ourselves and each other so consistently each day we can choose to just be better people and then have the endurance to continue and apply that choice of goodness during the remainder of this amazing journey of life.

yes the true value of life could be measured in time, but is the real value of life measured by demonstrating that your life is equally important as mine

We don’t know what each minute holds but we don’t need to, because we just have to hold on to each minute as long as we can.

Is the violence something we have to accept, no Tupac said we should change sooner then later before none of us our left.


I believe That statement there is inspiration to be a leader of change, we should wrap ourselves and others in love and begin the healing process of hurt and pain, leave hate and division in the past, we the people should stand hand in hand in unification and in love to give society the best chance to strive forward and have a chance to last.

I believe we all have reached our limits of what we can and can’t take and we can’t no longer just stand by and watch our sisters and brothers hearts continue to break over the growing violence, division, and hate.

why can’t we learn from the past and use it to be better in the present and have hope and faith for the future, why can’t we work together to lift each other up with honest and truthful conversation with good intentions and be proud to stand side by side with one another for nothing other than respect and love, the killings will never stop if we don’t care enough about ourselves and others to help stop. I am not sure what that looks like but I know it looks way different then what we are currently doing.

Marriage is not something that we just stand here today and say I do, Marriage can be tough and it requires effort, desire, commitment, loyalty, patience, time, forgiveness, empathy, compassion, grace and unconditional love to see it all the way through.

Why do we find a need to label anything and everyone could you please help me understand,
isn’t there so many other important things in life that require us to speak up and take a stand.

Final food for thought, if you feel strongly about using expectations then you should use them all i asking is just think about the expectations you place on yourself and others are they obtainable and can another person really achieve your expectations of them, or did you fall short with expectations that were placed on you by someone else, and now your trying to live your life by placing unobtainable expectations on someone else, and if your not careful you may place the same burden on them and people caring unsolicited burdens may not be able to see their true blessings in life and thats a disappointment that no one should have to carry.

After writing this poem I now truly believe that the mirror is a metaphor for Life, because life reflects the absolute truth and life reflects exactly how things truly are and then that causes us to reflect on the people we truly are and if were not able to appreciate the surface of ourselves and each other and then have the ability to look past the surface then we will never be able to live out our God created purpose, and that will be the biggest disappointment of our lives, because it’s not about what we leave to people that matters it’s about what we leave in people that makes a generational impact and one person can change the perspective of this world if the people of this world are willing to appreciate the external shell of who we are and then see the world through the internal vessels window pane of our souls and demonstrate each day to each other that we are committed to being the best versions of ourselves so that we can over power the hate and replace it with unconditional love and then we can change the world and give people the opportunity to become better because us and not despite us.

We don’t control any external change, but we do control our perspective and how we view life through our souls window pane.

At any given minute we can be at the highest of highs and then at the lowest of lows, but how do we work to understand, accept and appreciate that’s just how this wonderful life goes.

Why must we be divided and segregated based on our external perception, the true value of each one us is who we are internally there should be no other exceptions.

Let me say this, If I ever say something that offends you and/or you feel disrespected, it’s never my intention to hurt anyone I am only trying to use my past and current conversations to make a difference and internally be resurrected so that I can see myself being better as well as others and always keep in mind no matter what, we are all sisters and brothers and even though I don’t agree with the cancel culture at any time it’s all good because they are just expressing themselves which we all should be able to do but just keep in mind our expression through words it’s just our perspective and may not always be the facts, and sometimes we need to slow our roll and take a few steps back, in order to realign our perspective, and vision in which we see, and understand there is no reason for me to judge you and you to judge me, let’s use are energy and time working to understand that we are all human beings and we are prone to make mistakes and there is never a good reason to attack another sister or brother causes them to internally break, that’s just completely wrong and actually a disgrace but we should always choose unconditional love and if you need to cancel something why not cancel hate.

My anger expresses itself as an external emotion, it lives inside of me in a place that’s darker then the deepest ocean.

We were all created to be very unique that is a fact and holds no doubt, we weren’t created to fit in we were created to stand out, so being different is exactly what we are suppose too be, you being you and me being me, that seems to be how this life was designed and should be the way and no body should be any bodies piece of clay.

so I don’t know the amount of time I have left so there is no time to just drift, I must treat Life, Time, and you for exactly what each is a God giving amazing and temporary gift!

My word, i no longer want to use words only to form a sentence, I want to speak truth and honesty to minimize my requirement for current and future repentance.

I feel that I need to emphasize something that is extremely important, what I am doing with Soul to Surface is sharing my thoughts and my life in all different proportions.

We should Love ourselves for who we are and know there is always options and people we can reach out to for love and support, for anything that we may be dealing with, and we should be able to reciprocate and do the same with others, because no matter where we came from or where we are heading because in the beginning, middle and end we should all remain sisters and brothers.

What if I work on me and you do the same, we work collectively together to minimize the pain, that the people and the world are currently feeling, let’s stand together in love and begin the healing, hand and hand is the stance we take why not make this a realigned United States, something we all can be proud of, knowing we stood together side by side for nothing other then each other and the strength of Unconditional Love.

What if we just do it!

There is 1440 minutes in a day, I need to hold on tight to each one because none of them are here to stay. The value of time and each minute is so hard to see, I try and convince myself that each minute is going to last forever but the reality is, each minute is temporary.

Humility is required for me to be the best version of myself, and humility allows me the internal vision and strength to truly appreciate the value of everyone else.

As events continue to occur during my life’s journey and I am working to change my view, I realize there is only one thing that I have control over and that is me and not you. My perspective on life and your perspective on life are two separate things, one of the greatest things in life is that we don’t see all things the same.

We started out with a life time to share, and as we got older we realized there is not a moment to spare. They say time heals all wounds but I don’t believe that is so, I think with time you only learn how to manage the feeling in a more efficient manner but the pain always remains the same.

Everything begins and ends with me, the way I see myself on the inside will always show itself externally. Each day brings a new set of challenges and opportunities, so I must consistently work hard and choose to be the best version of me.

Love it’s a word that is used often each day, it’s small in size but large in stature when demonstrated and on display. So it appears the word love may just be still another word, but unconditional love is demonstrated and rarely heard.

Divided we fall, together we stand, it’s about black, brown, yellow and white all taking hands, we all stand together side by side so we can all support and love one another and enjoy the ride.

Learning to forgive ourselves and others for whatever you need, so you and others can truly and honestly be set free. Life is not permanent it’s temporary why not make the best out of each day and leave a legacy that people can follow along the way. We all get lost at times during this journey, but having each other minimizes the worry, love ourselves for who we are and love others so we leave no scares.
