Next up with have Claire Fowler interviewing our new counselor Mrs. Staker. She talks about why she became a counselor and some exciting things happening at MCHS.
Lastly we have Gabriella McPeek and Riley King interviewing Senior Magge Hillman. Magge is very involved in our Band and Choir and also in the upcoming music "Beauty and the Beast"

Then we bring Griffen Kernan back to see how is Fall semester at Grinnell College went. Remembering Brian Dennison
A special episode from the Mercer County Podcasting Club. Brian Dennison worked for the Mercer County School District from 2003 - 2020. He was a Coach, Athletic Director, Teacher and Mentor to many. We along with many special guests will remember Brian's time at Mercer County and his influence on the District. Guest include - Gary Heard, Jim Taylor, Cully Welter, Tom Hasson, Mick Louck, Lara Swanson, Stacey Day, Shelly Snyder, Jennifer Murphy, Joe Verlinden, Amy Degelman, Tanner Matlick, Nat Zunkel, Dustin Murray, and Eric Russell. Brian will be inducted into the Mercer County Hall of Fame on Friday, January 21 at 7 pm. A Celebration of Life will be held beforehand in the MC Library from 5pm - 7 pm.

Welcome to our February Episode! Our first segment will be our Student Talk addressing Valentine's Day. What their favorite candy is and maybe what some of their favorite Christmas gifts were from the Holidays.
Next up we will have Kierstin Benson interviewing Mr. Chausse from the MC Ag Department. Mr. Chausse has taught Ag at Mercer County for the past 33 years and will be retiring at the end of this year! Kierstin will be asking Mr. Chausse about his favorite moments, things he will miss and advice to future Ag students.
Lastly we will be back with Griffen Kernan interviewing Senior Hogan Siering. Hogan went thought Boot Camp with the Army over the summer. He will be relating his experiences to Griffen and advice to others looking into the Military.

Our Student Talk session this month is all about our Seniors! What stresses you out during the Senior year? The Seniors tell us their plans for the future and what gives them anxiety during the college selection process.
On deck after the Student Talk is Mia Hillyer interviewing Ms. Lindsey Beighle. Ms. Beighle is the leader of our Soaring Eagles program. She will be telling us all about the programs that we offer here at Mercer County and how Covid has affected those things.
Last, but not least is Griffen Kernan interviewing Freshman Colin Mellgren. Colin will let us know what he plans on doing with his High School years and what it is like to be a Freshman.

Our Student talk session this month deals with the great Holiday of Christmas! What has been your favorite Christmas gift over the years. Does your family have any Holiday traditions?
We then go to Callie Siering who will be visiting with Kay Hucke, Math Teacher at Mercer County High School. Callie asks Mrs. Hucke about the wonders of the Math world and how the new remote teaching as affected her life.
Griffen Kernan is back! Even though he was quarantined at the time, Griffen calls in to talk to Junior Karrisa Geisinger. Karissa is a wonderful artist at MCHS and Griffen asks her about how she expresses herself with her art.
