Monday Motivation ( You are the pilot )

Monday Motivation ( You are the pilot )

Happy Monday, guys. Michael, Al Shuler says the bad news is time flies, the good news is you are the pilot. That means whatever you do with your time is really up to you. You can either use it or you can abuse it. You can use it wisely and get into doing something that will help you pay dividends at that time. Or you can just waste it. You can either get to work, get to work early, be productive at your work, or you can just lay under your blankets for a whole bunch of time for a whole long time and not do anything and just waste time. Whatever you do with your time is up to you. I know it's a brand new year, and I know a lot of you have made some New Year's resolutions. What are you going to do with that time? New Year, new and me. But hey, listen, you got to do something with it. You are the architect of your destiny, which you are going to do in 2022. So let's do something productive because you are the pilot of what you do with your time. Let's make it happen.

Monday Motivation ( What a blessing it is that you are alive )

Monday Motivation ( What a blessing it is that you are alive )

Happy Monday everyone, listen, I know it's Monday. Some of you think it's a drag, right? Most of the heart attacks are caused on Monday before 09:00 a.m. To 10:00 a.m.. Because people are not happy that they're going to work or they're just not happy at the job and they die of a heart attack. They literally are dying working kind of thing. But you need to think about it this way. What a blessing it is that you are alive, that you woke up, that you got up on your feet, you walked to brush your teeth, went to a restroom, you drove to work. What a blessing it is to have a job, what a blessing it is to have a roof over your head. What a blessing it is to be able to have a job that can put food on your table. What a blessing it is when you just think about all that as gratitude that can probably make you feel a lot more fulfilled. And Monday would just be another day, another day that you can conquer. And another day you can make the best out of it. But it's Monday. So it's the first day of the weekend. You got a long way ahead, my friends, and you need to go ahead and kill it this Monday. Let's go get it.

Welcome to Make Sh*t Happen  This is Three Minute Thursday. Hey, guys. So I just got back from Sedona, Arizona. And if you've never been to Sedona Arizona, I think it's a really cool place that you're should visit. And I've never even heard of the Vertex or anything like that. But they say there's energies and positivity and healing and all that stuff. And I never believed it when I started reading about it until you really experienced it. And you do the hiking. You get on top of these mounds like Cathedral Rock and Devil's Bridge, and you go to the soldiers past and you do all this stuff and you're like, oh, my God, you start thinking about nature and start thinking about peace and everything and the purpose of our life is to be happy. And it can be happiness with everything, right? Happiness and really depends on what you like to do. It's not what people expect of you.

Episode 197 - Three Minute Thursday ( Happy Thanksgiving )

Episode 197 - Three Minute Thursday ( Happy Thanksgiving )

Welcome to Make Sh*t Happen. This is Three minute Thursday, the Thanksgiving Edition, episode number 197. Well, guys, Thanksgiving is here, and what other day than to give gratitude? Be thankful. Thankful for your loved one. Be thankful for your family. Be thankful for having your health. Be thankful to be active. Be thankful to be able to listen to this podcast. Be thankful to be alive and well in this world where there are so many people that are sick that are not healthy, that are bedridden, you have the ability to be walking, sit, think, have your brain function. Guys, all I can tell you is that is so important and gratitude is essential. This is a season of gratitude in the United States. We give gratitude. We are thankful when we sit at the table for Thanksgiving. Eating the Turkey. Turkey is just a symbol. But the main objective of Thanksgiving is to be thankful is to be grateful for everything some people might think. You know what? Oh, man, I wish I could get more, but what you need to do is be thankful for what you have when you are thankful and when you're grateful for what you have in the universe. God gives you more than what you can handle. Sometimes that's why gratitude is so important. A lot of rich, successful people. They give gratitude every day. They're grateful for what they have. And when you are grateful, abundance is coming your way. You might say, Well, I wish I had this, and I wish I had that. And we're all humans. And sometimes we wish we could have more. I don't mean when you're grateful to be content and to stop wanting more desiring more. I definitely think you should always ask for more desire more. But gratitude. I can't express enough. How important is gratitude? How important is it to be thankful? And there's no other day than Thanksgiving Day to be grateful for everything you have. Sit around the table, look around what you have and all the blessings that you can count and all the blessings that you have and you can cherish. And you can enjoy Happy Thanksgiving to everyone from the Make Sh* Happen Podcast from my family to yours. Happy Thanksgiving.

Guys in this episode, I talk about some of my previous guests who have been on the show and just do a little recap, go through to what these people had said in this first clip, I talked about Megan Gallagher. I spoke with Megan, and she told me about this quote from Two Pocket. It goes through every dark night. There's a brighter day after that. So no matter how hard it gets, stick your chest up and handle it. They gave the encouragement that Megan needed to make it through the day. Robert Dusty Staubs, Lyn-Dee, Doug Dillard, Desmond Anthony, Kim White, and Charles Adams are other guests who I know you will enjoy and take some value from.

Episode 195 - Three Minute Thursday ( Let's Talk Opportunity )

Episode 195 - Three Minute Thursday ( Let's Talk Opportunity )

Welcome to Make Shit Happen. This is Three-Minute Thursday episode number 195 today. I want to talk about opportunities. Opportunities come once in a lifetime. Some people might say, you know what? Opportunity doesn't come once in a lifetime. You get the same opportunity in a lot of time. I doubt it. Don't think so. Okay. You had an opportunity to buy Bitcoin at $10. Only once in your life. Can you buy that again? Absolutely not. You had an opportunity to buy Aetherium at 15. $20. Can you buy that today? No, you cannot. You had the opportunity to do something when you were 19 years old or 18 years old, and now you have 40. Can you do that again? No, that opportunity is not going to come. Opportunity comes once in a lifetime in a lifetime of opportunities. Now, listen to me. You will never be able to go back. Time is something that never goes back. You can never turn the hand of time. So whenever you get the opportunity, you got to be ready. You got to prepare yourself to take advantage of opportunities in your lifetime.

Episode 193 - Three Minute Thursday ( You should practice Gratitude )

Episode 193 - Three Minute Thursday ( You should practice Gratitude )

Welcome to Make Sh*t Happen. This is episode number 193. This is Three Minute Thursday. Hey, guys. So one thing that you should practice is gratitude, right? And learn how to be happy with what you have pursuing all that you want. A lot of people say, well, I'm okay. And I had this Tik Tok video one time, and it just kind of went viral. If you don't follow me on TikTok, you definitely should follow me @LifeofSupersammyz. That's where I'm on Tik Tok and Instagram. I had this episode. I had this little clip and I said, hey, you got to be happy with what you have. You got to be grateful. Your shitty job might be someone else's dream job. Your shitty apartment might be someone else's dream apartment. So I think you should always be grateful for what you have because if you're grateful, then you can get more because you're content. You're at a happy stage. But I always think they should pursue more. You should never be content with what you have. You should always aim for more Look for more because I strongly believe if you're not growing, you're dying. And that can be true in everything. That can be true in self development. That can be true in your self education. That can be true in your business. That can be true in everything. If you're not growing, you're dying. That means that you always got to get more. You always got to get to more.

Episode 192 - The Refresher Episode Pt.3

Episode 192 - The Refresher Episode Pt.3

Welcome to Make Sh*t Happen This is episode number 192. I'm highlighting all my previous gifts that have been on Make Sh*t Happen podcast and we're trying to compile that into one episode. This is the third episode that we are doing so in and my first guest over here that I want to put on this compilation is -  Jeremiah John - In this segment I sit down with Jeremiah John and we talk about the entrepreneur life, the pros and cons of it, the importance of knowing that you will be working 24/7 if you really want change in your life, Its called life-style change so Jeremiah gives a few examples on how he managed on being an entrepreneur and what it really took for him to be in the position that he’s in now. Let’s listen to this great story Jeremiah gives on being an entrepreneur. Chingo Bling -This was a good clip with Chingo Bling, Chingo talks about the trials and tribulations he had to go through while in the music industry the lessons he learned, not having a lot of knowledge on what to and what not to do when it comes to paperwork, Also, Chingo tells why he supports Trump and what made him switch political parties to better not only him but lives of the people he loves. Bun B -This is a clip from my good friend Bun-B, Bun and I sat down and talk the importance of spending your money wisely. Bun said “ if you can’t buy it three times you don’t need to buy it “, and that's so true because we tend to spend money recklessly and don’t think about the future Bun gives some great examples of how to make your money last, this was a great conversation that I feel you deserve to listen to. Howard Partage - In this clip, I sit down with Howard Partridge and he gives his four keys to implement on becoming better in whatever you are doing-especially in business, The keys consist of inspiration, Organizing, Training, and Community. This is a great blueprint for making your life better, Listen to this segment on why Howard believes these 4 keys are necessary.

Episode 191 - Three Minute Thursday ( Fly like an Eagle )

Episode 191 - Three Minute Thursday ( Fly like an Eagle )

Welcome to make sure it happened. This is episode number 191. I've talked to my previous episode that, hey, it doesn't matter how people treat you or if someone is bad to you or someone is backbiting. You someone is talking about you. You should always and always be a good person. You can never get out of character. You'll be a good person. I want you to think about yourself as an Eagle. What do Eagles do? Eagles fly high. They soar. And when the Eagles are going up, sometimes there are some Crows that are trying to do some other stuff. Crows are agile. They can go. But when the Eagles go up a certain altitude, the Crow can go over there. So I want you to think about yourself as an Eagle. Eagles is so high. Don't worry about the Crows that you meet. Don't worry about what the chickens do. Don't worry about what the turkeys do. The Ducks can only fly that high. Baby, you are an Eagle. So you need to keep flying high. If you go to a store and the store clerk is rude to you means you. Someone messes up your order at Starbucks. Don't get out of character. You'll be the good person. If you are somewhere. And let's just say at an office or licensed office or DPS office, it doesn't matter where you're at and someone is not paying attention to you and standing in that line forever. And I know you got to go other places to make other appointments or whatever. It's okay. Don't get out of your character. You don't know what kind of day the other person is having. But if they are rude to you, that's damn you, let them be how they are. You can't get down to that level. You're an Eagle. You fly high, you soar high, you got to stay a good person. You got to stay in character. Don't worry about them Crows. Don't worry about them chickens. They will do chicken things.

Episode 190 - The Refresher Episode Pt.2

Welcome to Make Sh*t Happen This is episode number 190 one ninety yes, sir. And what we are doing, this is a special edition. We are taking highlights from our previous guest and just highlighting him again on this episode. In this next clip, I speak with Stepheny Jacquez about how people want the Glitz and Glam but don't want to put in the time or work to reach a certain lifestyle and not to fear what people might think about them while creating their business only for the simple fact that it will hurt them because being afraid of what people might say or afraid of taking chances could really hurt you and your business in the long run without further Ado. Let's listen to what Stepheny Jacquez has got to say. All right. This next one is Nancy Almodovar. In this episode, Nancy speaks on how she started her brokerage with her best friend and no money. But Nancy had a great support group that helped her with her journey. Nancy speaks on how she's very high on writing things down because it helped her organize her life and business as well. Nancy recommends that everyone should try to implement it in their lifestyle. Let's listen to what Nancy says in her own words. Okay. My next guest was Jonathan Weisman, Jay Weissman, and he's a good guy full of life. In this clip, he speaks on authenticity. He explained why he believes if he was more authentic with himself at an earlier age instead of faking it till he make it that he would be way more advanced in his life. Let's listen to Jay Wiseman on here. My next guest was someone that I really was impressed with. A.C Katana. In this clip, I sat down with AC Katana and tells me a story about a time when he was on vacation with his wife, and while out at a location with hardly any phone signal, he had time to think. And one thing he was thinking about was GPS. Guys, listen to what AC Katana got to say about GPS, how he breaks it down, where G means gratitude, P is progress and S is significant. Ac believes that is the only GPS you'll need for a better life. I hope you really enjoyed what AC Katana has to say. Now let's listen to my really good friend Russell Barra. In the next clip, I asked him what was one thing that made him successful. And Russell talks about the golden rule, how to not only treat a person right. But Russell explains how to look at a person, how you think towards a person, how you believe towards people, and even with people, you don't like. Let's listen to what Russell had to say. Guys, Russell is such a great person. I hope you liked what he had to say. My next guest in this segment is Carlos Salazar. Carlos is an entrepreneur. He is an immigrant who migrated with his family to Mexico. Carlos and I discussed what it takes to be an entrepreneur and that it is not just a walk in the park. You take on many more tasks and so much responsibility as an entrepreneur. Listen to what Carlos has to say. My next guest is Tony Bryant. In this clip, I talked with him about start on education and how we had a great debate in this segment. Tony expressed his views on why he believes you don't need College or really any type of education outside of high school to make it in this world. Let's take a listen to this clip with Tony Bryant. The next segment we are about to play is Kurlin Sabogal I love this interview with Kerlin's passion for education and how she wants to make a difference in the world. And I had a great conversation with her and why she helps youth in different countries where there's no education available. She basically takes a vacation and starts helping people out in different countries. She explained why she reaches out to the risk and less fortunate children. So let's listen to what Kirley got to say as I hope you liked all the recaps from all my previous guests on Make Sh*t Happened podcast and I hope you enjoy it.

Episode 189 - Three Minute Thursday ( Why is it important to sell )

Episode 189 - Three Minute Thursday ( Why is it important to sell )

Welcome to Make Sh*t Happen. This is Three Minute Thursday episode number 189. I want to talk about today. That is how sometimes people like at work or business or whatever field you may be in. One thing that's really important is you've got to know how to sell because selling is an important part of the business. You're going to be a dentist, right? And if you don't know how to sell your services, then guess what. You're going to be pretty hungry. Dentist. Okay. You can be a doctor. You still got to know how to make some sales in your field because you got to know if someone needs a procedure or something like that, you've got to be able to sell that services. Let's say you're in a water filtration system and you own a water filtration company. You definitely need to know how to make some sales. You can own a flooring company. You can know everything about flooring. You can know everything about numbers and you can know everything about everything. But if you don't know how to make that sale, then it doesn't matter. And sales is based on a couple of principles, right? First of all, you got to know, you got alike and you got to trust no like, trust principle, which is a very famous principle. And you got to know the product. You got to know your people, you got to know your customer and you got to make sure the customer trusts you. First of all, you got to be able to trust the product before you sell it to the customer. And your customer got to trust you trust the service that you're going to bring in, and then they got to like you because if they don't like you if your customer doesn't like you, they're not going to want to do business with you. Hey guys, Happy Monday This is a little Monday motivation from Super Sammy Z to you. Hey, listen, money will never come to you if you don't go get money, money is not going to be able to communicate with you. Money. Money is not going to be able to listen to what you are feeling. Money is not going to be able to know how you feel about money. You just got to go to money and make sure you work hard for it because money needs to see you working for it. Money needs to see you working hard for it. Money needs to see you wanting it unless you're going to do all that money is not going to come to you. But if you want money and if you want to be rich and you want to be pulled built and you want to be independently wealthy and you want financial freedom, better go and get that money Monday motivation. Episode 187 - Three Minute Thursday ( The best investment you can make )

Episode 187 - Three Minute Thursday ( The best investment you can make )

Welcome to Make Shit Happen. This is three minute Thursday. The best investment you can make, guys is in yourself. Yes, that's correct. What I said is the best investment you can make yourself is in yourself. Now, what do you mean? What do a lot of people say? What does that mean, Sam? The best investment I can make myself is me. I mean, should I go buy myself a car, a house, go on trips, whatever. It makes you happy. But if you want to grow, you got to make sure that you are growing. Also, that means you are reading books. That means you are developing your skills. That means that you are investing in yourself, your education, your self-development, your self-education, all that stuff. Because when you do that, then you're going to go ahead and get more in life. A lot of people don't think that they're like, why should I read books? Why should I listen to these motivational people? Inspirational people. Why should I go attend seminars? Well, you got to do all that stuff to make sure that your development. I don't know who said that, but someone said if you read a book, it can save you three to four years of your life because you can learn of people's mistakes and what people are saying. Or you learn from people who have gone through stuff, right? Because you are growing up. You're 30 years old and you don't know what a 54 hours 60-year-old man has done or learned. And you're learning from their experience and definitely reading a book can save you three to four years listening to someone say something, an inspirational, motivational speaker. It can teach you something. You can learn something. There's one thing I talked about the other day is savings, right? If you're saving your money and you compounding it, I wish someone told me that when I was 20 years old, that your money basically doubles every seven years. When you haven't invested in an index fund, I would have started saving or investing when I was 16 years old, if I would have known that and I did it. But I have talked about it, and I think it's like my obligation and my duty to talk about it, that you should put something in a long and you got to think about it. It's a long-term plan. A long-term plan is. Hey, you know what? I'm going to take $100 and I'm going to save it every paycheck. You won't even miss it. Guys, I promise you won't even miss it. That's why I love Acorn so much because it takes your spare change and invests it. You will never see it. You will never miss it.

Episode 185 - Three Minute Thursday ( get what you deserve )

Episode 185 - Three Minute Thursday ( get what you deserve )

Welcome to Three Min Thursday, episode number 185. Hey, so, you know, I was listening to some stuff while you know, like, my warning runs like I always do. And I listen to a lot of motivational stuff and think about it. And, you know, I heard Jim Ron where he talked about in life. It's not what you should get. What you need is what you deserve. And that really, really touched me about, yes, in life, we feel like we need this and we should be given this. Is that what we should get is what we deserve. And he says a farmer can look at the ground and say, hey, I need my harvest. Well, the farmer knows what he needs to do to get that harvest. He needs to make sure that he puts the seed in, you know, you reap what you sow kind of thing. If you don't sew any seed, if you don't saw the plan, you're not gonna get your harvest. It's just like that. You can't say, I want I want Orange trees coming out of a tree. I want oranges coming out of a tree. But you have never done anything to get those oranges out of a tree. You never even put any seeds up there. And that just opened up my mind. You know, people feel like, especially nowadays, in this age of day, people think they need this. They should get this. You only get what you deserve. And that's what's called life. Life is you have to do hard work in order to deserve something. And the age where we are living at, where everybody has this sense of entitlement. There's a lot of this free money floating around post COVID. I just feel like we have done lazy. There's a lot of people who don't want to go to work because they feel like they need to get more money. It's not what you need to get. It's what you deserve. How much are you gonna input to deserve something people always think about? Oh, man, I need to be making $100,000. But what have you done to get that $100,000? I mean, How's your attitude? How's your work? Are you coming in early, leaving late? Are you making sure are your top performer in your company? Wherever you work, are your top performer in the business. You own a lot of people. They don't even show up to work, like on Friday.  nd then they're all Friday at a Sunday, and they feel like their business is not doing good Well, why is your business not doing good? You haven't gone to work. Don't show up to work. And a lot of people when they are new business owners, I feel like they feel like a business should give them.

Episode 184 - Jeremy Jenson ( Founder and CEO of Encore Search Partner )

Episode 184 - Jeremy Jenson ( Founder and CEO of Encore Search Partner )

Welcome to Make Sh*t Happen This is episode number 184. My guest today is Jeremy Jenson. He's the founder and CEO of Encore Search Partner, a 37% executive search firm here in Houston, Texas. He's 34 years old, father of three young sons, and has a passion for mentoring emerging young entrepreneurs. He grew up in a Leave, Texas, as the oldest son to a single mother that had him. At 16 years old, Jeremy had to scratch and claw for everything that was given to him in life. Although he was a Straight-A student, he was a college dropout. After making $100,000 in telecom sales. At 22 years old, I and Jeremy resonated very much because that's exactly the path I wanted to after. So after I was making over $100,000 in long-distance sales, I ended up dropping out of the University of Houston. We had a great podcast session. Jeremy is very outspoken and very uncanny with these words. You'll hear a lot of beeping throughout this podcast because we wanted to kind of still keep it very, very. But I enjoyed the episode. He had a different point of view and me and, we did not agree on a lot of stuff. I still think that Jeremy is a bright, bright, bright young man and he has a lot to say. And I hope you all enjoy this interview as much as I did. But no further Ado. Let's jump into this interview with Jeremy Jenson.

Monday Motivation ( JUST DO IT )

Monday Motivation ( JUST DO IT )

Happy Monday, guys. Hey, listen. It's Monday, and it's the first day of the week. The most effective way to do something is just to do it. You have to start somewhere. Somehow, I have to be great. You don't just start something, you just have to start and you will be great. Listen, guys, it's Monday. I want you to, you know, think about it. Hey, what do I want to do this week? Be productive, eat healthily, drink a lot of water, you know, think about yourself. Try to meditate Don't let anyone get to you. Don't let anyone get you mad. And if there's something that you've been wanting to do for a long while, all I want you to do is just do it. If you've been wanting to apply for a new job, let's do it. If you want to move to a new place or a new apartment or try to buy a new house, let's do it. If you're trying to look for a new car and you've been wanting a new car, let's do it. If you want to start saving money, open up that AC or an account or open up an account where you can start putting money for your future. Let's do it. Today is the day. Hey, listen, if you want to go to the gym and start a gym membership, let's do it. Today is the day. I want you to look sexy for New Year's Eve. So let's go ahead. Episode 183 - Three Minute Thursday ( No overnight success )

Episode 183 - Three Minute Thursday ( No overnight success )

Welcome to Make Sh*t Happen. This is episode number 183. This is three minutes Thursday. Hey, guys, how are you all doing this beautiful Thursday Astros are in the playoffs. Hopefully, we make it out of this one and win this series and back to the World Series one more time. And hopefully, we are victorious this World Series and shut everybody off about what they say about the Astros. But anyway, hey, listen, guys. So this morning, I am, you know, I was thinking about some things. I mean, while I was just, like, got sitting meditating, enjoying the beautiful weather and, you know, people always talk about overnight success. People think people look at these singers or an actor and or someone says, oh, man, I can't believe this guy just as an overnight success. He got all these hits and everything. I want to tell you, there's nothing called an overnight success because to reach that overnight success, it must have taken 5678 years. If you want to be successful, you got to lay the groundwork. You have to. You must lay the groundwork. If you want to buy something big, you must start saving towards that big purchase towards you want to make sure that you are financially independent, you have to work towards that financial independence. Rich mindset. People who have a rich mindset, don't spend everything they earn, they save before they spend, not spend everything. And then whatever is left, maybe put it in savings. No, that's not how it works. People who have the rich mindset, people who are rich, save before they spend. They don't want to see that money because money is such a temptation. If you have it, you'll spend it, put it somewhere, put it in a savings account and you will ensure that you're going to be rich. People say you know what I had someone said the other day? Well, you know, if I have any advice for my younger self, I'll spend everything I earned in my 20s. Well, I think that's a poor mindset because you should start saving. And I honestly wish someone should have told me this. Hey, start saving when you're 15 or 16 or 17, start putting it away because people need to know the principle of money. The rich get richer. The wealthy get wealthier because they are saving. There's something called compound interest. Compounding your money. Your money doubles every seven years. Nobody tells you that in middle school or high school or even in College.

Monday Motivation ( See you at the top )

Monday Motivation ( See you at the top )

Happy Monday, guys, I just want to give you a little Monday motivation today. So I read somewhere that what comes up must come down. There's businesses that were like, at their peak, Montgomery Wards, Kmart, Sears. And they're all gone today. And for you to stay up and maintain it, you gotta constantly be growing. You gotta be constantly improving. You got to constantly be inventing yourself. And before the iPhone thing, we used to have these Nokia phones. We used to have these blackberries and where they are today, iPhone went up every year every six months. iPhone has some kind of new update, some kind of new invention. And I feel like if you're not reinventing yourself, you're not updating yourself. You're not becoming the better version of yourself. Then soon enough, I mean, you become stagnant and you can't go up anymore. And you know what is up. One day will come down and must come down one Monday motivation, I can tell you, is always reinvent yourself. Always update yourself. Always study something, get a new skill, get something new, read books, develop yourself and just have something that you can say, hey, you know what? I'm the better-updated version of me every six months every year. That's just a Monday motivation. So keep updating yourself. Keep reinventing yourself and you will stay on top. And if you're not on top, you will get on top. see you at the top.

Episode 181 - Three Minute Thursday ( The difference between a rich mindset and a poor mindset )

Episode 181 - Three Minute Thursday ( The difference between a rich mindset and a poor mindset )

This is episode number 181. This is three minute Thursday. Hey, guys, you know, today I was this morning I was running around and, you know, I'm thinking the difference between a rich mindset and a poor mindset and how you can become rich. There's a couple of easy ways people can become rich. And I'm not even a lie to you can listen to 25 different motivational, leader, and inspiring leaders, people who have created wealth. And number one is to make sure that you want to be rich. You make sure you gotta have a goal. And you gotta have that written down. And you gotta look at that goal. And you got to read that goal, and you gotta make sure you can manifest that into reality. And number two, the people who ever always become rich, they don't live a hundred percent of what they earn. So if you earn $1,000 a week, if you live on the $1,000, you will never become rich.

Episode 179 - Three Minute Thursday ( Success is measured by what makes you happy )

Episode 179 - Three Minute Thursday ( Success is measured by what makes you happy )

This is episode number 179. I was talking to somebody earlier today, and we were just going back through my journey, right? Like, I'm talking about my business journey, what I have done, what I've gone through. And the more I talked to this guy's name is Tim. And the more I realized that I made so many mistakes when I first started. And that's one of the reasons I always always, always tell young entrepreneurs that they must be patient, because when I first started my business and now I wanted it all. And I wanted it right now. And I was just making mistakes after mistakes. And honestly, like Tim said that I was like a cat because I had nine lives. And it should have been like that because I should have known. But nobody was there to mentor me. Nobody was there to tell me, you know, we didn't have podcasts at that time. We did not have YouTubes, all that other stuff. And I made so many mistakes. I was over-leveraging myself. I was undercapitalized, did have no working capital was going day to day thing. I was basically in a hamster wheel. And when you're in a hamster wheel and the hamster is running, I mean, the wheel is going faster and faster and faster, and as soon as it little piece of debris gets stuck in there or the wheel stops. And it doesn't matter how hard you try, how hard that debris stuck in that wheel and nothing is gonna happen. And that was me. I mean, that happened to me so many times. And I was talking to Tim earlier, and Tim was like, Well, what made you make it? How did you get out of it? I said, Tim, the difference between me and a lot of other people is that a lot of the people quit because they are like, well, when is the time to quit? And nobody knows when the time to quit is. And I didn't quit. And I got out of it.

Monday Motivation ( do it to be happy )

Monday Motivation ( do it to be happy )

Happy Monday, guys. A lot of times people hate Monday, and it's because they just had two days of freedom. A lot of people look forward to the weekend. They look forward to Saturday and look over to Sunday. They can't. They can't wait till it's Friday, right. And they feel like it's free. And I feel like a lot of people do that because they are unhappy with what they're doing. They're unhappy with their job. They're unhappy with, you know, the routine. They are just unhappy. and I gotta tell you, man, today is Monday, you gotta find something that you are happy in because you can't just look forward to Friday. You just can't be dreading your days. Oh, my God, it's Monday. I can't believe I gotta go to work. If you are doing all that stuff, that means you're unhappy or you're just very unmotivated and you're just lazy. Maybe. I don't know, you know, you gotta prioritize line. You gotta make sure you gotta figure out, hey, you know what is important or you just may be unhappy if you gotta be happy

Episode 177 - Three Minute Thursday ( Do what makes you happy )

Episode 177 - Three Minute Thursday ( Do what makes you happy )

Welcome to Make Sh*t Happen. This is episode number 177. This is Three minute Thursday. Hey, guys, you know, people always talk about they measure success in different ways. Some people measure success, like, hey, you know in greatness, some people measure success. And, hey, you know what? I'm happy. That's what my success is. Some people measure success in materialistic things, big homes, big, nice cars, fancy clothes, brands you there's just a bunch of ways that you can measure success because to some people, you know, having enough money to pay their bills, you know, getting home at the right time, having dinner every night with their family, coaching their kids. Little League team. That's a success. Some people have nice big houses, big mansions of success. Some people, you know, just having people praise them. That success is can be measured in a lot of ways that I can't answer, what a success to me and what success to you? What is success to somebody else? But we all need to work towards what success means to us.

Episode 175 - Three Minute Thursday ( It takes money to make money )

Episode 175 - Three Minute Thursday ( It takes money to make money )

Welcome to make sure it happened. This is three-minute Thursday episode number 175 Guys, someone told me the other day it takes money to make money. And I told this person, no, it really doesn't. It really doesn't take money to make money. Yes, of course, takes money to make more money. But it really takes desire and will to make money. You have to have the desire to make money. You have to have the will to make sure that the money comes to you. Because if you don't have the desire to have money one day and to make sure that you are in the money and you don't have the will to work hard to make sure that you become rich or wealthy one day, then money will not come. And it doesn't only take desire and will. It takes tough. It takes mental. Toughness. It takes thick skin. It takes the ability to fail. It takes. It takes the ability to accept failure. Sometimes you got to understand when you are failing and you know when you have some kind of failure is just just just all it means is that what you're doing is not something is wrong with it. It's just not right in order for you to succeed. So all you need to do is tune it up. Shake it up. Change because winners don't quit. And if you quit, you can never be a winner. and in the case and in order for you to make money, in order for you to be rich, in order for you to be wealthy, in order for you to be financially independent, you have to have that can't quit attitude. You got to have that mental toughness. You got to have that desire. You got to have that will. You got to have that tenacity because, without all that stuff, you will never have money in your life. You live, paycheck to paycheck you how like the 80% of the world lives and 80 20 rules always apply.

Episode 173 - Three Minute Thursday ( The 80 / 20 rule )

Episode 173 - Three Minute Thursday ( The 80 / 20 rule )

Welcome to Make Sh*t Happen. This is Three Minute Thursday, episode number 173. Hey, guys, today I want to talk about the 80/20 rule and why there's something called the 1 percent right. Isn't it weird that you know, if you have a hundred people working for you of 20% of those hundred people will always outperform the other 80 if there's? Now, if you have a store of like, let's say I have a furniture store or let's say you have a clothing store, 20% of the clothing is always going to outperform the other 80. And you can Google the 80 20 rule. But it's crazy. You know, someone said that if you give $20,000 to 100 people out of those hundred people, 80 of them will either go more into debt or will blow that 20,000 faster than you can count. Right. But the other 20% of the people will either invest that money and they'll grow it. And there's about, you know, there will be about 4% or 5% people. That means out of the 20, there'll be another 2% or 3% of the people who will grow that money exponentially and, you know, double, triple or maybe a million dollar, you know, from that 20,000. So there's a little and those are called those people who will grow that money like crazy. They called the one percenter. And that's why, you know, there's only 1% of the total population has all the wealth or has a lot of money. It's not that that they were handed to them is just because they just somehow perform better. And it's a rule. I honestly urge all of you to look into this 80 20 rule.

Monday Motivation

Monday Motivation

Hey, guys Happy Monday. A little Monday motivation from me. So, you know, there's a lion that wakes up in the jungle of Africa every Monday morning. And then there's a gazelle that wakes up in the jungle of Africa every Monday morning. As soon as they wake up, they both start running. Man, the lion is running to make sure that the lion is getting a Hunt something and will not die hungry. That tide will not be hungry, will not go to sleep hungry. Or the gazelle keeps running because they want to make sure that they don't get eaten. The lit, the gazelle don't have to run the fastest, but I just got to make sure it runs faster than the slowest gaze out there. So the lion doesn't get them and wake up. Get up. Be the lion. Be fast or be the gazelle. So make sure you don't get eaten. That's your Monday motivation from me. Life of Super Sam. And follow me. Thank you so much.

Episode 169 - Three Minute Thursday ( Put your mask on 1st )

Episode 169 - Three Minute Thursday ( Put your mask on 1st )

Welcome to Make Sh*t Happen. This is three in a Thursday episode number 169. The theme of today's shows is please put your oxygen mask on first. Yes, when you're riding an airplane, man, you know, the air host is coming on and say, please put your oxygen mask on first before you can help others. Man, that is that right. There is a theme of life. You got to put your oxygen mask on first before you can help others. Why they say it on the plane is because in case of an emergency, in case of a crash landing, you got to put your oxygen mask on. You got to be able to stay alive before you can help others. People in everyday life, that's what they do. They think about others before they think about themselves. They don't put themselves first. They put other people on first. And that is a very dangerous situation because if you are just, you know, thinking about others and not putting yourself first, it can, you know, deplete your energy, it can burn you out. Fatigue. You cannot look after your health. There's a lot of factors that can happen. There's a lot of factors that can happen. And when you burn out and you're not happy all of a sudden, you know, you are not happy in that relationship. You're not giving 100% at work. You're not, you know, you just not you burn out. So you got to take care of yourself first. Selfcare is the biggest form of self-love. Now, when I say self-care, you got to make sure that you're eating properly. You're exercising your pampering yourself. You're taking time for yourself alone time, relaxing time, exercising time, getting massages, or whatever may be. If you're a woman, I mean, you taking care of your hair, your nails, your self. If you're a man, I mean, still taking care of yourself. And I mean, you know, you got to make sure and you got to reward yourself here and there. It's good for me to be worried about other people. It's good to be selfless and not selfish. But it's so important to put the oxygen mask on first, because if you don't have the oxygen mask on and you cannot breathe yourself, how are you going to stay alive to help others? So I want you to do this. I want you to put that in perspective.
