This pared with his families past successes in disabled sports through his brother James and Sister Libby lined him up for success of his own.

Hope grew up in Rogart in a remote area of the highlands and after being diagnosed with CRPS at the age of 12 she has undergone an incredible journey which included her crowd funded amputation, learning how to live with her new lease of life after the operation and her switch from swimming to kayaking in the more recent years.
