The life of Malcom X w/Eric Ehigie
On this episode of The Dead Icons Podcast we dive deep into the life of one of the most controversial leaders of the civil rights movement to his followers Malik El Shabazz was an almost messianic figure. Someone who stood up to and fought back against the bitter hatred and oppression faced by the African American community. To his detractors he was a figure who promoted hate and further aggravated racial tensions within the US, which were already teetering on the brink of implosion. As a reformed hustler and pimp he brought his fiery brand of black love and self-defence to the masses with the Black extremist organisation known as The Nation of Islam providing the pulpit.
