"Jesus As You Have Never Seen Him" 03.28.2021
God's anointing is on those who preach Christ Crucified and Risen
The world needs the gospel!
John’s Vision of Christ9 I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. 10 On the Lord’s Day I was in the Spirit, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, 11 which said: “Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea.”
12 I turned around to see the voice that was speaking to me. And when I turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and among the lampstands was someone like a son of man,[a] dressed in a robe reaching down to his feet and with a golden sash around his chest. 14 The hair on his head was white like wool, as white as snow, and his eyes were like blazing fire. 15 His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters. 16 In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.
17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. 18 I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.
19 “Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later. 20 The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels[b] of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

"Strength For Today and Bright Hope Tomorrow" (03.14.2021)
Thank you for joining us! We are beginning a series called "Heaven Opened" and we will be going through the book of Revelation.
A Marriage Primer: 10 Undeniable Truths part 2 by Doyle Peyton
Mathew 19 When Jesus had finished saying these things, he left Galilee and went into the region of Judea to the other side of the Jordan. 2 Large crowds followed him, and he healed them there.
3 Some Pharisees came to him to test him. They asked, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?”
4 “Haven’t you read,” he replied, “that at the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’[a] 5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’[b]? 6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
7 “Why then,” they asked, “did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?”
8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning. 9 I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery.”
10 The disciples said to him, “If this is the situation between a husband and wife, it is better not to marry.”
11 Jesus replied, “Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given. 12 For there are eunuchs who were born that way, and there are eunuchs who have been made eunuchs by others—and there are those who choose to live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.”
Discerning The Will Of God
"Discerning the will of God is all about a way of life! It is about living the ways of Jesus!
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will" (Romans 12:1-2, NIV).

Mathew 19:1-12
When Jesus had finished saying these things, he left Galilee and went into the region of Judea to the other side of the Jordan. 2 Large crowds followed him, and he healed them there.

The Antidote to Anxiety: Doyle Peyton
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
The Road Back: Doyle Peyton
Martin Luther King, Jr. famously said, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

Spirit Empowerment/Fullness by Rev. Michael Stinson
"This week, our prayer focus brings us to the third Person of the triune Godhead, the Holy Spirit. As believers, we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. His longing and desire is to fill us—that is, to fully control us. When we surrender to His control, we experience divine power at work in our lives to give us victory over sin, to empower us for Christlike living, and to increase the effectiveness of our Christian witness and ministry. This week, may we experience for the first time or in a fresh way the promise of Acts 1:8: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you. . .” (Terry Smith )

Detox 2020 by Reverend Mike Stinson
Starting the new year many are going to make the decision to get healthy. Some will put them through a detox, which means " a regimen or treatment intended to remove toxins and impurities from the body”. Just like physical health we need to focus on the spiritual. “ In order to be spiritually healthy we must continually lead ourselves through spiritual detox, which occurs when we Lament, Reflect and Renew”
Listen to hear what Pastor Mike has to say about Lamenting, Reflecting, and Renewing
"God With Us" 12.20.2020 Andrew Vallance
Luke 2:1-14 (NLT)
The Birth of Jesus2 In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2 (This was the first census that took place while[a] Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3 And everyone went to their own town to register.
4 So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6 While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.
8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

The Gospel of Second Chances (07.12.2020) Garth Crundwell

This is especially true with our relationship to God! We make mistakes. So do you need a Second Chance? You've come to the right place! Second Chances are Jesus' specialty!
Join us this week, as special guest, Garth Crundwell, preaches from John 8 and talks about "The gospel of Second Chance"
Hearing From God Part 5: The Voice of Rest 0 7.05.2020 (Pastor Mike)
We have been spending the last few weeks talking about "Hearing From God" and this week we want to look at a passage of scripture that we believe God desires to speak to all believers!
25 At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. 26 Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do.
27 “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Mathew 11:25-30)
“Jesus’ yoke is easy and his burden is light not because it is not weighty or extreme. Followers of Jesus care more about Jesus’ kingdom than they do theirs. They share their possessions with the poor rather than simply accruing niceties for themselves. They pour their resources and their time into God’s kingdom. They bear one anothers’ burdens when they have plenty of burdens of their own already. Yet, all this seems “easy” because they have the joy of being with Jesus the whole time, who is of such supreme worth to us that even carrying a cross with Him seems “light.” (J.D Greear)

"Trouble in the Temple" 03.08.20 Pastor Jason
Mark 11:12-19
12 The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13 Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. 14 Then he said to the tree, “May no one ever eat fruit from you again.” And his disciples heard him say it.
15 On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple courts and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves, 16 and would not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts. 17 And as he taught them, he said, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’”
18 The chief priests and the teachers of the law heard this and began looking for a way to kill him, for they feared him, because the whole crowd was amazed at his teaching.
19 When evening came, Jesus and his disciples went out of the city.
Often times we read through this passage and don't always know how to apply it to our lives. So how do we apply the temple experience to our lives?
Here are a few points from the sermon
1.They focused on Convenience Do you substitute convenience for worship?
2.They focused on Profit- Are you more intentional about advancing your position or advancing God’s kingdom?
3.They focused on Themselves- What shortcuts are you currently taking with God?
The Final Days of Jesus: " Triumphant Entry" 03.01.2020 (Pastor Jason)
11 As they approached Jerusalem and came to Bethphage and Bethany at the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two of his disciples, 2 saying to them, “Go to the village ahead of you, and just as you enter it, you will find a colt tied there, which no one has ever ridden. Untie it and bring it here. 3 If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs it and will send it back here shortly.’”
4 They went and found a colt outside in the street, tied at a doorway. As they untied it, 5 some people standing there asked, “What are you doing, untying that colt?” 6 They answered as Jesus had told them to, and the people let them go. 7 When they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks over it, he sat on it. 8 Many people spread their cloaks on the road, while others spread branches they had cut in the fields. 9 Those who went ahead and those who followed shouted,
“Hosanna![a]”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”[b]
10 “Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David!”
“Hosanna in the highest heaven!”
11 Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple courts. He looked around at everything, but since it was already late, he went out to Bethany with the Twelve.
What Kind of King is Jesus?
1. Obedient
2. Humble
3. Patient

"The Power of Influence" 01.26.2020 (Pastor Jason)
You were created for a purpose. And part of that purpose is to have an effect on the character and development of those around you for the kingdom of God…
Obviously, The Kingdom! Dennis Tuner- 01.19.2020
"Every Person, every church intentional and aggressive about advancing the kingdom"
The Relationship of the church with the kingdom is the church is:
1. A Sign to the kingdom
2. An instrument of the kingdom
3. A Foretaste of the kingdom
Acts 1:1-8
Jesus Taken Up Into Heaven1 In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach 2 until the day he was taken up to heaven, after giving instructions through the Holy Spirit to the apostles he had chosen. 3 After his suffering, he presented himself to them and gave many convincing proofs that he was alive. He appeared to them over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. 4 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command: “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have heard me speak about. 5 For John baptized with[a] water, but in a few days you will be baptized with[b] the Holy Spirit.”
6 Then they gathered around him and asked him, “Lord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?”
7 He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
"The Church continues what Jesus began!"
Three Priorities:
1. Desperate dependence on the Holy Spirit
2. Missional Living
3. Godly Leadership Development
Be Patient; Trust in Me
Many of us cry out because we want answers from the Lord. Often times the answer He gives isn’t what we want, but it is exactly what we need. In a world that is so focused on fast.. scripture speak of the opposite and asks us to slow down, be patient, and most importantly trust in Christ.
Connecting Christmas: "MAGI" 12.29.19
In Mathew 2 we discover a group of men who embarked on a journey to encounter Jesus. They traveled from afar to meet the king of the Jews and when they found him, they worshipped Him. They had a clear vision and it was on Christ. The amazing thing is that just like the wisemen went on a journey to encounter Jesus we can do the same exact things! Our desire for our students is to provide a safe place of unconditional love for them to find out who they are while encountering Jesus. We believe that when students discover Jesus they find out exactly who they are. Just like we desire our students to encounter Jesus, we are praying that you encounter Jesus as well! Knowing that the creator of the universe desires for us to find Him and worship Him is humbling, but when we discover Jesus we realize that this is exactly what we were created to do! My prayer for you is that 2020 is not only an incredible year, but that it is a year that you encounter Jesus like never before!
Connecting Christmas: King Herod 12.15.19
"Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born.
5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet,
6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.
7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.
8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also." (Mathew 2:1-8)
Connecting Christmas: The Story of Mary 12.8.19
26 In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, 27 to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary. 28 The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.”
29 Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30 But the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary; you have found favor with God. 31 You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever; his kingdom will never end.”
34 “How will this be,” Mary asked the angel, “since I am a virgin?”
35 The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the holy one to be born will be called[b] the Son of God. 36 Even Elizabeth your relative is going to have a child in her old age, and she who was said to be unable to conceive is in her sixth month. 37 For no word from God will ever fail.”
38 “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her. (Luke 1:26-38, NIV).
Following the Cloud 12.04.19
Ex. 13:21-22
21 By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. 22 Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.
Soul Care: Overcoming Fear 11.17.19
The word to Ahaz and the word to us through Jesus’ coming, is that when our circumstances seem greater than our God…We have to choose to trust Him because God is with us!
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Phil 4:6-7).
Peace is the byproduct of fixing our eyes on Jesus! When we choose to trust Jesus and fix our eyes on Him we will have peace.
Soul Care: Healing Wounds 11.10.19

"Repentance is more than just a change in behavior. Biblical repentance is about changing your mind and purpose; it is about changing the way you think. It is about bringing yourself in alignment with God"
2 Corinthians 7:10: "Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death"
Soul Care: Identity 10.13.19
Welcome to week 2 of our series on "Soul Care"! This week Pastor Jason spoke on Identity.
Where do you find your identity? Is it in the lies of the enemy or is it found in the truth of scripture?
"Your identity in Christ is the foundation of a healthy soul. Who you are determines how you behave. What you believe about yourself influences your level of maturity, peace, and soul health"
