Today's Guest is Elaine Del Valle:
Born & raised in Brownsville, Brooklyn New York, Elaine Del Valle began her entertainment career as an actress, and found early success in the commercial and voice over markets.
While studying acting under the legendary Wynn Handman at Carnegie Hall, Elaine developed what became her multiple award winning, autobiographical one-woman stage play, Brownsville Bred. Brownsville Bred chronicled Elaine’s true New York Puerto Rican coming-of-age story— Set in the tough projects of Brownsville Brooklyn, NY, in the 1980’s, Elaine’s story brought resilience, love and laughter to a world filled with crime, heroine-addiction, AIDS, and welfare.—Her Off Broadway debut brought critical acclaim. The New York Times called it “From Girlhood Trials to Onstage Triumph”.
With a deep understanding of her truthful writing’s impact, Elaine founded Del Valle Productions, Inc. —a full service, bilingual film production and casting company with a mission: to infuse entertainment with original programming using diverse talent in front of and behind the camera. Elaine was named “Trendsetter” at New York’s Multicultural Media Forum and “Madrina/Godmother" by Prime Latino Media. Her company has gone on to produce multiple films, and has a casting division (Del Valle Casting) that has cast actors for major market commercials, in television & digital series, theater and in feature films.
An accomplished producer, Elaine was the first to license an interstitial series (her co-production of Gran’pa Knows Best) to the HBO Latino Network. She received a 2016 Telly award for her co-production of PBS/World Channel series, The Smallest Step. Elaine co-created, co-wrote, produced and directed the comedy web series, Reasons Y I’m Single (now on Amazon Prime). Elaine has also directed commercials (in English and Spanish) and in 2017 she penned Final Decision, which marked Elaine’s directorial debut in a short film. While on the 2017 festival circuit, Final Decision played at over a dozen festivals, winning Del Valle two “Best Actor” awards, a “Best Narrative Director in a Short Film” award and a “Best Original Film Score” award. Del Valle’s many film productions continue to win awards across festivals including the short hybrid animation documentary, Victor & Isolina— which has won numerous awards, screened at over 50 festivals (including the 2017 Sundance Film Festival), IFP Film Center, and at The MoMA. Elaine recently licensed Victor & Isolina to HBO where premiered in 2018.
Del Valle’s mission is to tell true Latino stories that inspire through Latino insight and perspective.

Hey beautiful people of the World!
Episode 15. Is such a Personal Episode for me!
I really didn't know where my conversation was going to go... but I share a story with you all that is dear to my heart.
May I be a reminder to you all that God loves you so much and that he has your back! He is holding your hand through the good times and bad times, even when you don't seek him.
When you are in the Darkness may you close your eyes and seek the Light in this world. It is for you, it is near you. Even when you don't think it is.
I hope this message touches your hearts
Hey Friends! Episode 14 is Finally Out!
Took me some time to upload it and I am so sorry! I've been working on some FUN projects that I can't wait to share with you all!
In This episode, I talk about what it looks like to be the best version of yourself.
What do you do and practice when you are the best version of yourself?
You know the person that you are always trying to become!
What is the imagine of yourself that you want to be more like?
If you don't know what that looks like- then how are you going to get there?
Let's Talk about it!
Love you all!
During Episode 13. I share some of my current feelings of being "lost", of being afraid of taking the wrong next step forward, and learning who I can and can't trust. trying to understanding what love and support looks like for me. Trusting that my gut will lead me in the right way and not allowing my fears to hold me back from living out my best life.
lots of good stuff,
lets talk about it!
During Episode 12. I share a story that happened to me while I was waiting for my bus to arrive and the amazing conversation I had with the women who sat next to me. Sometimes we create our timeline in our minds and get frustrated with life when our realities don't look like our idea of where we should be. God's timeline is far greater than our timeline- he's plan is far greater than we can ever imagine.
keep shining and keep your faith,
During Episode 11. I dive deep at reminding people that our success and paths are unique. My path isn't going to look like your path and that is such a beautiful thing! My success isn't your downfall. By changing our mindset's on others success, we will open the door to so many new possibilities!
Let's talk about it darlings,
In Episode 10 I talk about Discipline and how this has become something that I am currently in the practice of.
How could you be a little more disciplined in your life to achieve the things you truly want.
Could you spend less time on you social media and read more.
Could you work more now to have the financial freedom you crave for your future?
Let's dive deep and talk about it!
In Episode 9. I talk about how self care allows us to recharge and take an inner look at ourselves to be aware the things we are holding onto.
After an exhausting week of planting seeds and taking massive action my body and mind were DONE- I had a mini panic attack and thankfully I have the right tools set in place to know what to do in these situations. After the panic attack and said, I need to share these tools with the world!
You deserve to give yourself the time and attention of self care~
Let's Talk about it!
In Episode 8. we talk about LOVE!
Love is forgiveness, love is supportive, love is kind, love is empathy, love is reaching out, love is being a friend.
Ask yourself, am I loving enough today? Whose life can I impact? What conversations can I start?
Let's talk about it!
In my latest episode on shine brighter with liz, I talk about having a clear vision for what you want your future to look like and figuring out how you can manifest these wants into your life.
Let's talk about it friends!
Today I had a conversation with God. Well i tried to talk to him and he told me to be quite and let him speak instead. Not surprised i get that often. So i listened. He told me to stop trying so hard. To try less and let him guide me where he needs me to go. So i said okay, lead me to where you need me and I will follow. He spoke into my heart for me to begin having conversation with the homeless and bring faith into their hearts. To remind them that the best is yet to come and that this is only a moment in their lives, that THIS TOO SHALL PASS. I had the pleasure of sitting down with Shawn, he was incredibly open and shared his dreams with me and The obstacles that have stood in his way. I asked him if he felt comfortable recording an episode for my podcast and he agreed.Let this be a reminder to all that everyone has a story and we all deserve to be heard! ❤️
During Episode 5. I speak about the lust that currently lives within our generation. How men and women are seeking the superficial and not allowing themselves to live within true love.
I believe women have more power than they believe and its time for them to begin to regain some of their self worth!
Love is easy my friends, but pushing past society norms is hard!
Ladies and Gents- RESPECTING YOURSLEF ISN'T EASY, But you deserve to have others respect you for who you are.
What are we tolerating? What are we seeking- love or lust?
Let's talk about it!
In Episode 4. I talk about how the word "expectations" came to me while I was asleep. I speak about how I realized that my high expectations for my life have led me into disappointment.
You can't control many of the outside elements in your life, you can only control yourself by focusing on how you show up in the world and how you aim to become the best version of yourself that you can be! Trust that, That IS ENOUGH.
Have BIG, REALISTIC, Goals that you are in control of and allow yourself to move from Expectations to Discovery!
Let's talk about it!
During Episode 3. I talk about the process of becoming who I need to be in this world & who I know that I can become, to best serve the world! I touch on subjects such as, clearing the noise, understanding your habits, approval seeking, perfectionism, social media, and being enough! Once you clear the noise you can focus on the things that you ACTUALLY want to do!
During Episode 2. I share how I connect with my inner child by making sure that I am truly listening. Your body and your inner child will tell you what you need to hear even when you don't want to hear it. Honor how you are feeling inside and be aware of your self talk! Let's talk about it!
In Episode 1. is really just an intro and self discovery process of what I want my podcast to be about!
What better way to vocalize what you are going through in your life than to share it with the world! I believe that sharing is caring and when you are you allow others to be reminded that they are never alone!
