Scott Rice (@elArroz_56) parlayed a breakout 2003 season in the Shorebirds bullpen into a pro career that spanned almost two decades. Rice takes us through his 18-year pro baseball odyssey, which culminated with a two-year major league stint with the New York Mets in 2013-14.

Months later, the Detroit Tigers selected him with the first pick in the minor league stage of the Rule 5 Draft. Garcia looks back on his time in Delmarva, including finishing off the team's record-breaking 84th win, and reflects on his transition to the Tigers system.
