Positions and titles doesn’t change the fact that the person within that position or who holds a certain title is still human. We all have our flaws and no one is perfect but God. We should only look to God for perfection and not people, and we should hold ourselves to the same standards we hold other people; regardless of their social status, positions or titles.
God’s Word makes it clear that there’s a consequence for sin, but it also tells us that there’s a great reward in our obedience. God is good to everyone, but His Spirit rests on those who choose obedience. Obedience is our faith in action. It also displays our love for God.
God has promised to supply our needs, but He will also give us what we want IF those desires are within His will. We must understand that not everything we want is needed, or beneficial to us. Having this understanding will give us the peace, strength and patience to wait on God.

A reminder that God is always with us and has equipped us for everything we need in life, even things that we consider urgent matters. Just because He’s silent, doesn’t mean He’s not present.
