Silverback OMX Pro Team rider, Mariske Strauss finished 19th at her eighth World Championship and her best result so far. She completed 7 laps in 1:42:04 with a 7-minute gap.

The final round of the UCI XCO World Cup was affected by heavy rain fall. The covered forest sections on the eastern border of France were extremely slippery making the climbing and descending technical parts very demanding in La Bressa.
Silverback OMX PRO Team did not plan for their finals to end like this. The team had many crashes and mechanical which left them all deflated and frustrated.
Silverback OMX Pro Team Rider, Raphael Gagne raced the third round of the US Cup-XCT in Williston, Vermont on Saturday the 28th July.
Raph produced a fine ride to finish first, “it was a flat and fun course and lots of podium sparkling water celebration to top it off,” says Gagne.

In British new, Silverback OMX Pro Bike Team rider, Frazer Clacherty continued to defend his U23 title at the National Cross-Country Series at Hadleigh park International on Sunday the 22nd July.
Frazer raced with full confidence on his Silverback SUPERSPEED after his win at the last round of the National Cross-country series.
He rode away very early from an attacking group, “that was quite a tough race with Chris setting a really high pace early on,” clarified Clacherty.
“This is my fifth national champs including juniors so I’m happy to keep the momentum up,” adds Frazer.

Silverback Volvo Riders, Tiffany Keep & Luke Moir won the Junior Women’s & Youth Men’s race at the SA MTB XCO Championships in Bloemfontein, South Africa on the 21st July.
Tiffany Keep completed 4 hard-hitting laps in 1:15:54 which put Emma van Coller into second place about 2 minutes behind Tiffany. Luke Moir finished his laps in 59:51 which is incredible racing.

Silverback Volvo Riders, Tiffany Keep & Luke Moir won the South African cross-country marathon champions in their age category at the third Trailseeker event in Cape town on Saturday the 14th July.
Tiffany Keep (1:58:44) led the 40km women’s race home when she beat Frances Janse van Rensburg (2:06:39) and Chante Olivier (2:08:53).
The 40km men’s half marathon was won by Luke Moir (1:40:08), followed by Tristan Nortje (1:40:53) and Wicus Breytenbach (1:42:37).

The baking hot weekend in the Trentino Alps of Round 4 of the UCI XCO World Cup in Val di Sole was a case of keeping cool as much as possible. The track is physically demanding circuit and giving it your all too early in the race may lead you to pay for it later on.
The course had more elevation and intense technical sections than the previous Short Track races. Your tactics would need to be in order if any time is lost. The 1km course has many steep and short climbs that kept riders on their toes.

Silverback Volvo Rider, Shaun-Nick Bester finished 4th overall and 3rd in the Elite Men’s race at the second round of the Trailseeker Series at Legends MX park in Pretoria, Gauteng on the 23rd June 2018.

Silverback OMX Pro Team rider, Mariske Strauss placed second in the Elite Women’s race at the fourth round of the SA MTB Cup Series XCO this past weekend.
Silverback Volvo rider Tiffany Keep also walked away with a second place in the Junior Women's race, just a half a wheel length in a sprint finish o the finish line. “I felt frustrated and not entirely satisfied with my performance,” adds Tiffany.
Henry Liebenberg, Silverback Volvo Rider completed the seven-lap course in 1:27:55, finishing 8th overall in the Elite Men’s race.

Zuurberg leaders, Team TiB-Silverback-Best4Sports, Shaun-Nick Bester & Andrew Hill put the hammer down from the start to claim stage and overall victory on the final day of the Great Zuurberg Trek mountain-bike race at Addo.
The Great Zuurberg Trek is a 3 stage mountain bike race that takes place from the 25th-27th May in, South Africa. All 3 stages started and finished at the same place.
Riders will cover a total of 209km over 3 Days, traversing a variety of trails which include sections in Addo Elephant National Park.
