EP: 14 Mental Health (You never know what's going on in someones mind)
This is my story. For this episode its just me, Skip, sitting down late night talking about the importance of mental health and how it has affected me throughout my 22 years on Earth. The first half of this episode talks about how different aspects of life growing up can cause mental health issues and the second half explains ways to turn life around, how to seek help and ways to get out of depression.
EP: 13 Leah Clapper
Episode 13 was all gymnastics talk. I get together with a University of Florida gymnast, SEC Champion, NCAA Runner-Up and Fourth place finalist, and scholar; Leah Clapper. Leah talked about the differences between Elite gymnastics and NCAA gymnastics as well as being a vegetarian her whole life. Leah also goes on to explain the student-athlete NIL world and how well she has built her own name, image, and likeness.
EP 12: Anton Svirskyi
In this episode I sat down with a Ukrainian national diver turned track star and back. Anton Svirskyi (2x SEC champion and NCAA All-American at the University of Florida) talked about growing up with the struggles of the Ukraine war, moving to the United States as well as the process of not only transferring schools but transferring sports at the same time.
EP 11: Sore All Summer
This is the end of the season recap with Skip and Hunter where they talk about how the last two big competitions finished and impacted them. They also include how the upcoming summer off season workouts are hurting and affecting their bodies along with getting them started for next season.
EP 10: On A Serious Note...
The first episode of 2021 and it gets deep. Skip is accompanied by Co-Host Hunter and Conner Pruitt as they talk about the importance of staying positive when there are injuries and downfalls in athletics.
EP 9: You're Dreaming...Wake Up
Skip is back with Hunter for Episode 9 to talk to him about how his very first college semester went now that school is out for the year. The two boys also go on to talk about strange dreaming scenarios and how fascinating and unknown the depths of dreaming are. Lastly, Skip turned twenty and his "cake" was something special.
EP 8: Holiday Season... Not For Us
In this episode of The CAP, Skip is missing Logan but is joined by Hunter as they talk about how there season started off and builds up to the holidays. The two boys laugh as they explain how Hunter made his special pie for Thanksgiving and Skip explains the difference in school's Covid rules during competitions.
EP 7: A Tough One
The CAP boys are back after some time and they have some stories to tell. Car crashes, Shirley Temples and blackouts yet again. The boys have their first meet coming up and training is getting harder but better.
EP 6: Motivation Is Key
This week the boys eat dinner on Samford lawn and have the strangest encounter; Hunter learns a new dive and Logan and Skip almost pass out underwater.
EP 5: Logan Beat Covid
In this weeks episode, Logan and Skip talk about what happens when an athlete gets Covid-19, how the first SEC football games went, and Skip's weekly injury report.
EP 4: Snake Hunt
Skip and Logan ask Hunter how his first week of dive practice went with the coach and how hiking in the state park turns into a snake hunt.
EP 3: No Shoes, No Shirt, No Water!
This weeks episode is full of mistakes including: wearing a white shirt while golfing after it rained and not having water when Skip chokes on Chipotle.
EP 2: Meat Week
Skip and Logan talk with Hunter about how we have yet to cook meat to its completion, Conner plays Fortnite for the first time and Hunter gets targeted in an egg fight.
EP 1: Back To School
Skip and Logan invite teammates to talk about how the first week of school went, diving experiences, volleyball injuries, and their professional golfing careers.
