SLAPcast: A Premier League Podcast

In this episode, the guys band together in the face of Josh's absence to outline their Chumps and Champs from the weekend in the Premier League. Some had a great weekend, while others exhibited behavior that was strikingly chump-like. The guys also went on to discuss such talking points as Jürgen Klopp's impact on the Premier League, Spurs' newfound problem defending set pieces, Roy Hodgson officially losing the plot, and Arsenal earning a surprisingly comprehensive victory over the league leaders.

In this episode, the guys discuss the second half of the staggered winter break fixtures, as well as pick their Team of the Season so far in the Premier League. The guys also put together a secondary XI composed of players who they feel have gone under the radar so far this season.

In the aftermath of Spurs' crazy and controversial win over Liverpool on Saturday, the guys break down the events of the subsequent days and discuss what could be done to fix the state of refereeing/VAR in England. The guys also put forward some of the worst refereeing decisions they've witnessed in recent years, as well as analyzed victories for Luton, Arsenal, Palace, and Leicester (we finally broke the curse!) and defeats for both Manchester clubs.

This week, the guys go back to their Bob The Builder roots and built a North London combined starting eleven based on performances this season. Also featuring a full review of the North London Derby, a Crystal Palace tirade, a "who is worse?" challenge between Luton and Wolves, and the 8-0 slobber knocker that took place between Newcastle and Sheffield United.
