I wanted to do a quick episode on nutrition in the fourth trimester. I cover nutrients to focus on, thinking about the 3 R's, replenish, recovery and repair, nutrients to focus on are bone broth, high quality fats, stinging nettle tea, hydration, soups and warm foods, making sure you are consuming enough calories. Sex after baby
Remember that sex after baby is different for everyone and the 6 week "mark" for returning to normal activities after having a baby doesn't necessitate you going right back to having sex if you aren't ready. In this episode we talk about a lot of different things that can come up for people in the postpartum period around sex, intimacy, body image, mindset, and more. We hope this helps to make the conversation around this topic a little less taboo and one that you can seek out help if you feel you need or want it. We are always her to support you and are always willing to get you information or resources if you need. Don't hesitate to reach out at talkbirthypodcast@gmail.com.
