I recently read No Treason By Lysander Spooner, published in 1867, and found it very compelling I had to share it. And since its public domain I can. The first essay questions the reasons for the civil war and although he hated slavery in all forms. He was also opposed to the federal governments invasion of the South.

We talk about the craziness that is the impeachment and the circus of federal politics. We also wonder why AnComs are so dumb. My thoughts were that focusing on local politics is more beneficial that looking at D.C. But Jordan brought up an even better point of building community around you to change culture.
