Human and Sex Trafficking in America: Jessie's Story (Part Two)
In this episode, Guest Jessie Alex shares her personal account of human and sex trafficking in America. Jessie is a survivor or human trafficking and sex trafficking and walks us through more of her story, how she has overcome things and what you can do to help advocate or get help.
Jessie has been through an insurmountable amount of trauma and somehow come out on top of it all. I think her story is so valuable to both raise awareness about sex trafficking that happens right here in America and to offer hope to those who might be struggling with similar traumas in seeing how far she has come and knowing that things can get better.
TW: This episode does include discussion related to human trafficking, rape, drugs and various forms of abuse.
Explicit Rating: Language throughout this episode is pretty mild overall, however there is an F-bomb or two. Because of that and the general nature of this topic I have flagged this episode as explicit.
