Having spotted on Twitter that someone was outraged that their wife had been told to 'bake a cake' as this would help build resilience Stephen wanted to explore resilience and try to promote the positive aspects of resilience building and resilience in general... noting however that baking a cake results in no more than having a cake that you've baked. Resilience is dependent on two things - yes - what we do ourselves but also the environment we then have to do what we do in.
