The most common Japanese last name is Sato (さとう・佐藤) , and it is estimated that there are over 1.8 million Satos in Japan. We have 120 million people in Japan, so this means there 1.5 Satos in every 100 Japanese.

Even though the COVID pandemic is ongoing, the Japanese government launched “Go To Campaign” in August.

With this campaign, people basically get money from the government when traveling, and it is reported that over 2 million people had already received the subsidy.

We just had a 4-day holiday this week, the Silver Week, and so many people traveled around.
