Me? A Whole Me? Confronting Self Esteem and Imposter Syndrome in Adulthood
Me? A WHOLE Me? Shoutout to Vyonne Orji for inspiring the title of this episode. Growing up, they tell you to have good self-esteem. Schools aggressively push anti-bullying messaging and urge young students to avoid peer pressure. Once you leave high school, the conversation about self-esteem stops— you think you have all the tools you need to dive into the big bad real world. You don't. Self-esteem issues and imposter syndrome in adulthood are REAL, and in this episode, hosts Kui and Vyette talk about how they've navigated the muddy waters of the comparison game and insecurity. Don't forget to SUPPORT BLACK BUSINESSES. Thanks for Pretty Minked Lashes for always hooking us up. Check out her creations here: https://prettyminkedlashes.com/.

Would you rather...be reincarnated as a fly or not come back to earth at all? Eat a box of uncooked pasta or rice? In Episode 6, your favorite podcast hosts get silly and real by answering a list of random "would you rather" questions. That TCK (Third Culture Kid) Life
As we mentioned in Episode 1 (Season 1), Vyette and I grew up around the world. We've called a lot of places home...from Nairobi, Kenya to Aimes, Iowa . Because of our jet-setting childhood, some would deem us as "third culture kids". In this week's episode, we dive into what that TCK life is really like and share some of our colorful memories from high school and beyond.
Being in your 20s: We've been bamboozled, hoodwinked, led astray!
When we were younger, parents, older cousins, even the media told us that being in your 20s would be a glamourous affair to remember. We'd have the freedom we desperately craved in our youth. We'd meet cute, fun, adventurous people that we'd befriend or date. We'd travel and go on weekend trips with our girlfriends. This is the picture we had painted in our heads. We couldn't have been more wrong. Being in your twenties is so hard. We're tired, disappointed, confused, and have so much to learn. We get into all of this and more in episode 2 of Something to Say!
