Egyptian Arabic Beginners | Asking questions: standard Vs Egyptian Arabic
Why? Why? Why?
For many children, that is their favorite question: “Why?”
Why is the sky blue?
Why do I have to go to bed?
If you want to learn Egyptian Arabic, try to think like a child again and be as curious as possible.
Questioning everything will help you learn a lot more:
How can I learn vocabulary from Egyptian culture?
Why did that sentence use present simple instead of present continuous?
As you can see, you’ll need to know how to ask questions in Arabic to be curious.
Luckily, asking questions is a useful skill for almost any situation—not just for language learning. You can ask questions at work, at home, in the classroom, at restaurants, while shopping, while out with your friends, etc.
So in this lesson, we’ll cover the main types of questions in Arabic and the differences between Standard Vs Egyptian Arabic in question words that you can use again and again in real life.
