Season 5, Episode 31: Interview with Kimberley Crossman (Medina Darcy) from “Deathgasm” (2015) and “Deathgasm II: Goremageddon” (2025)

Season 5, Episode 31: Interview with Kimberley Crossman (Medina Darcy) from “Deathgasm” (2015) and “Deathgasm II: Goremageddon” (2025)

It was a huge honor to sit down and speak with Kimberley about her role in one of my all-time favorite movies… To get to know what it was like on set, to get the details is pure gold and I cannot wait to see what’s in store for us.

Kimberley has confirmed that there will be 10 times more the blood and gore… And the possibility of more s3x toys being used to kill more malevolent demons… Who knows?

Overall, both Kimberley and Milo stole the show in Deathgasm, and I am absolutely positive they will bring the same charged energy to the sequel which makes the anticipation worse. But I do believe that I will not be disappointed because the first movie is a huge hit and will always have a place both in my heart and on my shelf.

Kimberly will be attending a convention in Milwaukee; you can catch her there and make sure you dress in your best death metal garb!

Until the sequel is released, and in the meantime feed your metal horror comedy compulsion by streaming Deathgasm on Tubi, PLEX, Amazon, and other streaming services.

Rhonda is such a wonderful and talented individual, and I hope that she never changes; from her struggles and challenges in the past, she has moved mountains to rise up again in the film industry and I have to commend her for it. Season 5, Episode 29: Interview with Alex Zahara (Uncle Howard) from “Final Destination: Bloodlines” (2025)

Season 5, Episode 29: Interview with Alex Zahara (Uncle Howard) from “Final Destination: Bloodlines” (2025)

**WARNING** This episode contains spoilers of the movie

I had the absolute pleasure and honor to sit down with Alex and talk about his role in the newest installment of the Final Destination Franchise. We talked about his death scene “Death by Lawnmower” even though his death was untimely and unfortunate. But he did go into detail with the technical setup and how it was rehearsed.

What I find interesting about this movie is that it’s a very different set of cast; it’s not a group of friends in high school or college. It’s about a family who is struggling to keep things together and it feels like there is a whole other level of anxiety and sadness brought to the film and not to mention the entire spectrum of emotions.

The Final Destination Franchise has never disappointed… There is a never-ending supply of imagination and creativity. There’s no masked killer with a knife, but instead it’s Death playing his little game of “who is next” and it’s a guessing game. After binge watching all of the movies this past week, I now dread logging trucks, tanning beds, escalators, pennies, and lawn mowers.

Season 5, Episode 28: Interview with Joe Bandelli (Hell House LLC Clown) from “Hell House, LLC” Franchise (2018-2025)

Season 5, Episode 28: Interview with Joe Bandelli (Hell House LLC Clown) from “Hell House, LLC” Franchise (2018-2025)

The series has quietly dominated the found footage universe since its first entry almost a decade ago. The original film remains the greatest in the series, as is the case with most franchises. I cannot tell you how much I love this franchise and how I cannot wait to see Hell House LLC: Lineage.

What an absolute honor and pleasure to sit down with Joe to gain the exceptional insight regarding the franchise! Joe had a lot to say about the movies to include 825 Forest Road and the new and upcoming installment: Hell House, LLC Lineage which is slated to be released this October.

Although this movie is deviating away from the found-footage concept and moving into a narrative role, I am intrigued to see how it’s going to pan out. Also, bringing back the cast from Hell House LLC: The Carmichael Manor and including Elizabeth Vermilyea who portrays Vanessa. I have a feeling this movie is going to be the best one out of the franchise altogether.

Season 5, Episode 27: Interview with Award-Winning Actress Austin Judd (Chrystal) from “Cannibal Comedian” (2023)

Season 5, Episode 27: Interview with Award-Winning Actress Austin Judd (Chrystal) from “Cannibal Comedian” (2023)

This movie is a twisted mix of gut-busting laughs and terrifying thrills, the genre-bending slasher movie pushes the limitations of horror and humor in a remarkable cinematic experience. For those who love comedy with their horror, this is the pinnacle of the indie peak in my opinion.

I had the honor of sitting down with Austin to speak about her role as Chrystal and I will admit that she delivered flawlessly. She definitely plays a likeable character in the film, and I especially love how her character was developed throughout the film.

Her and Aaron developed a very unique and strange relationship in the film which led to the possibility of a sequel, more to follow on that. This movie deserves two thumbs and it’s an absolute blast to watch.

Cannibal Comedian is now available physically on Blu-ray and VHS as well as on digital platforms and streaming through Screambox.

Season 5, Episode 26: Interview with Marsha Dietlein-Bennett (Lucy Wilson) from “Return of the Living Dead II” (1988)

Season 5, Episode 26: Interview with Marsha Dietlein-Bennett (Lucy Wilson) from “Return of the Living Dead II” (1988)

Synopsis: This being a direct sequel, it’s about curious kids that exhume the barrels that previously helped revive the dead, which proves the second time's an undead charm. In my opinion, it’s a virtuoso blend of suspense, gore, entertainment, and culture all wrapped in one. Me being a huge fan of the first one, I was super excited to have sat down with Marsha and talk to her about her role as Lucy in this imaginative, energetic, and quirky sequel.

With that being said, Marsha is a final girl! Acting in one of the best movies from the golden era, she portrayed Lucy with great prominence which made her very lovable in the movie.

Although originally the movie was intended to be a children’s movie, I am wondering what changed. However, in my opinion, it looks to be geared towards the younger audience and whoever loves to be chased by the undead.

Be on the lookout for Marsha’s upcoming movie, “The Hail Mary” where she acts alongside Daniel Roebuck. Also, stop by her Facebook page to show her your appreciation and love for the classic movie.

Season 5, Episode 25: Interview with Sanae Loutsis (Snow White) from “The Death of Snow White” (2025)

Season 5, Episode 25: Interview with Sanae Loutsis (Snow White) from “The Death of Snow White” (2025)

I would like to say that I watched the movie and her performance in this movie is iconic and deeply moving because of the fresh and captivating outlook she brought to the screen. And her exhibiting Snow White as a multidimensional character with strength, susceptibility, and appeal.

Growing up in the PNW is not as easy as it looks but Sanae made it look good… With her exceptional performance as Snow White, I was thoroughly impressed with this movie.

Even with the brutal shock on this grim fairytale that accompanied the actors and actresses, the director and writers were able to grab the true essence of Snow White, the Prince, the Evil Queen, the Evil Witch, and the seven dwarves.

I would definitely recommend going to the theater to watch this movie as soon as humanly possible, you will not be disappointed. Especially, if you are Disney fan, you will like this version better than the others.

Season 5, Episode 24:Interview with Diomira Keane (Helen Foster) from Stephen Cognetti’s “825 Forest Road” (2025)

Season 5, Episode 24:Interview with Diomira Keane (Helen Foster) from Stephen Cognetti’s “825 Forest Road” (2025)

In this exciting episode, I sat down with Diomira and talked to her about her role as Helen Foster from this new supernatural movie which is making huge waves across social media. This being Diomira’s first official interview with me about her debut role, I feel especially honored to be the first one to do so.

It’s amazing who directors find these days. With that being said, I believe that Diomira played Helen Foster exceptionally well and if a prequel is made about the character, Stephen better bring her back, damnit.

Head on over to her Facebook and Instagram pages, show her some love and some support for playing such a challenging role and delivering efficiently. Also, make sure to check out her cosplay pictures because she exhibits nothing short of paramount talent.

As I have stated in the beginning of this interview, the movie promised scares, and it was delivered with a sucker punch. You will never see what this movie has in store for you. Everything you predict is going to be off in some way. But Ashland's darkest supernatural secret eventually comes knocking at Chuck's front door: Her name is Helen Foster (Diomira Keane), and untimely deaths are her calling card.

Check out the movie which is streaming now on Shudder.

Season 5, Episode 23: Interview with Aaron Prager (Charlie) from “Cannibal Comedian” (2023)

Season 5, Episode 23: Interview with Aaron Prager (Charlie) from “Cannibal Comedian” (2023)

Synopsis: A psychopathic cannibal, fed up with his lack of ambition, takes a stab at stand-up comedy in an attempt to chase both his dreams and his victims. For those who have not seen this movie, imagine Leatherface doing stand-up comedy.

Aaron Prager is an awesome and talented actor! I had an absolute blast talking to him about his role as Charlie the Cannibal and what he brought to the screen. I am still in shock and awe from the movie, Cannibal Comedian by far is one of the best indie films on Screambox. Needless to say, Aaron delivered his role in a paramount way, and I absolutely enjoyed the movie, and I definitely recommend watching it as soon as you can.

Season 5, Episode 22: Interview with Peter DeSouza-Feighoney (Henry) from “The Pope’s Exorcist” (2023)

Season 5, Episode 22: Interview with Peter DeSouza-Feighoney (Henry) from “The Pope’s Exorcist” (2023)

Emerging as a multifaceted talent, he made his opening Hollywood debut in the film 'The Pope's Exorcist,' fascinating audiences with his dynamic presence on screen.

I am honored to have spoken to Peter about his role in this film. The casting director obviously chose the right individual for the role of Henry – Peter delivered flawlessly, and I can unequivocally say without a doubt that he is super talented.

He went into great detail how he prepared for the role and how he landed it. Aside from working alongside Russell Crowe, this movie holds a endearing place in my heart and is still one of my favorites.

Overall, great interview! And if you have no watched it, please do. Peter also stars in other horror movies: Little Red, The 13th Child, Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare, and Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 and other films that are still in development.

Head on over to Peter’s profile on Instagram and show your support for this young, talented actor!

Season 5, Episode 21: Interview with Joe Falcone (Chuck) from Stephen Cognetti’s “825 Forest Road” (2025)

Season 5, Episode 21: Interview with Joe Falcone (Chuck) from Stephen Cognetti’s “825 Forest Road” (2025)

Synopsis: After a family tragedy, Chuck Wilson hopes to start a new life in Ashland Falls with his wife Maria and little sister Isabelle, but he quickly discovers that the town has a dark secret. From the director that brought us the Hell House, LLC franchise brings us a different type of haunted house story. And hopefully our guest can tell us more about it today.

It was an honor to speak to Joe Falcone about his role in the movie. He was able to give us some insight behind the concept of the movie and storyline.

I especially love this because the movie is filmed in Jim Thorps, Pennsylvania and it hits home… Perhaps one day I will check out the film location and get a first look at what it’s like to visit the film sets.

Later on in the month, I will also be interviewing Diomira Keane and Elizabeth Vermilyea who also star in the movie.

Season 5, Episode 20: Interview with Tristan Nokes (The Prince) from “The Death of Snow White” (2025)

Season 5, Episode 20: Interview with Tristan Nokes (The Prince) from “The Death of Snow White” (2025)

**WARNING: this interview contains spoilers of the movie!

I sat down with Tristan to get first hand insight about the movie and his role as the Prince. It truly was an honor to have Tristan on my shows and to provide insight behind the scenes, the practical special effects of the film, and to speak about the dwarves (who are NOT AI).

The Prince is pivotal part of the story from the opening of the movie, and we get to see him begin his courtship of Snow White before the Evil Queen sends her huntsmen to apprehend Snow White and her friends.

Obviously, this is not the same Disney fairytale that we watched growing up. This is a much grimmer version of Snow White. This movie dips into the broader elements of the blood and guts horror movie tropes while attempting to maintain that innocence.

The Death of Snow White is now in theaters and soon will be on Amazon Prime.

Season 5, Episode 19: Interview with Alex Walker (Patrick) from Heart Eyes (2025) – Will You Marry Me (And Die!)

Season 5, Episode 19: Interview with Alex Walker (Patrick) from Heart Eyes (2025) – Will You Marry Me (And Die!)

This is also Alex’s first interview about his role in the movie and I feel really honored to have spoken to him about his brief but epic role in this movie and I am very certain that he delivered flawlessly. However, his death scene in my opinion was very unjustified. His quick death kind of made me feel sorry for his character and I would not wish that upon my worst enemy.

I love how he went into very descriptive detail on how his death scene was prepared and filmed. The time that he invested in it and to make it look great, hands down one of the best deaths in the movie.

This film owes a lot to the Scream franchise and the ending is straight out of the Scream handbook and it does feel justified and is one of the best horror/rom-coms I have seen in a long time.

I wasn’t expecting many comedic moments in this movie, but the writers made it work. I also love the fact that the identity of the killer is revealed at the end of the movie instead of at the beginning – it kept the audience guessing.

Season 5, Episode 18: Interview with Kevin Keppy (Nightmare Mom) from “Smile” (2022) – Smile Through Your Fear!

Season 5, Episode 18: Interview with Kevin Keppy (Nightmare Mom) from “Smile” (2022) – Smile Through Your Fear!

The movie smile is perhaps one of the best psychological mind benders that I have watched in a long time. Not only does it resonate with disturbing supernatural metaphors, but it’s also very unsettling with the mystery of what the entity actually is. Is it a demon? Is it an evil spirit? I will let all of you decide.

The best part is that this movie was filmed in New Jersey: more so in the Hoboken, Newark, and Morristown areas. With it being close to home, it makes the movie so much better!

I sat down with Kevin to get a better understanding of the film and his character. I now almost fully understand the storyline and the concept. However, some questions still remain unanswered.

On another note, Kevin was chosen for such an important role in the film, pivotal I would say in which we all probably now have nightmares. I will admit that Kevin delivered flawlessly, and I cannot wait to see what else he has in store in the future.

Overall, I unquestionably recommend this movie, if you haven’t watched it already. It’s a great little grim horror movie and definitely went above what I was initially expecting from a movie that seemed to be about scary smiley people!

Season 5, Episode 17: Interview with Adri-Anne & Coye Cecere – The Elm Street Jump Rope Girls

Season 5, Episode 17: Interview with Adri-Anne & Coye Cecere – The Elm Street Jump Rope Girls

If our dreams aren’t scary enough, Wes Craven decided to add the creepy Freddy Krueger Nursery Rhyme. And anyone who is familiar with the movie, especially the franchise, knows the infamous jump rope song sung by the children. 41 years later and the song still gives me goosebumps.

I sat down with Adri-Anne and Coye, and we discussed how they got involved with the franchise and how they became the notorious “Jump Rope Girls” – despite how creepy the song is, it’s still part of something that has grown on us since our childhood.

Bonus Content: They sang the song for us in the interview… And sure as hell, it’s still in my head. Definitely an ear worm that will probably remain until I am six feet under.

Overall, a wonderful interview. If you would like to meet them at a convention near you, all you have to do is put in that request to the individuals who run/coordinate the conventions. Please do so and support these two wonderful women.

You can also find them on Facebook and Instagram.

Season 5, Episode 16: Interview with Corinne DeCost (Heather Succubus) from “Blue Murder”

Season 5, Episode 16: Interview with Corinne DeCost (Heather Succubus) from “Blue Murder”

I sat down with Corinne to get the inside scoop and the first actor all-access insight of the new and upcoming independent horror movie, “Blue Murder” and what to expect to see from the movie. After watching the trailer, I am super intrigued about this movie and to see where it goes.

So what is Blue Murder all about? On Halloween a free-spirited nurse become possessed with the blood lust of a brutal serial killer who only kills people who deserve it.

Corinne also stars in another movie called “Party of Darkness” which is currently on the film festival circuit. However, the ability to stream it will happen soon.

Go check out the Instagram Page and check out the trailer for “Blue Murder Movie” – make sure to follow the page and support the hell out of their project at: https://www.instagram.com/blue_murder_movie/

Season 5, Episode 15: Interview with Michael-Bailey Smith (Super Freddy) from Wes Craven’s “A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child” (1989)

Season 5, Episode 15: Interview with Michael-Bailey Smith (Super Freddy) from Wes Craven’s “A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child” (1989)

Best known for his appearances on the television series Charmed, where he played Belthazor, a Grimlock leader, and Shax. He has also appeared in Men in Black II as Creepy, and The Hills Have Eyes 1 &2 – Plus, he served in the renowned 82nd Airborne Division as a paratrooper. HOOAH, AIRBORNE!

Can tell that Michael is a very passionate and loving person and he still carries that passion with him wherever he goes. Just to sit and talk to him about his acting career is an absolute honor and pleasure – this guy has done it all.

Another legendary actor dubbed as a ‘Chameleon’ – being able to flawlessly deliver any role handed to him. Especially as “Super Freddy” – who we all know is an icon in the horror community and the A Nightmare on Elm Street Franchise.

Overall, it was great speaking to him and getting to know him on a more personal level. I can tell that this guy is going places!

Also, make sure to check out his wife’s business, “Inseam Saver” which there is a quick promotional video at the end.

Season 5, Episode 14: Interview with Award-Winning Actress Konstantina Mantelos (Shannon) from “Anything for Jackson” (2020)

Season 5, Episode 14: Interview with Award-Winning Actress Konstantina Mantelos (Shannon) from “Anything for Jackson” (2020)

What a huge honor to speak to Konstantina about her role in one of my favorite movies! I am still in disbelief that this interview actually happened… Obviously, the director chose the right actress to play the daunting role of Shannon. Honestly, probably the hardest role in the entire movie and she performed exceptionally well.

Anything for Jackson is one the BEST supernatural movies I have seen in a long time! With the paranormal entities and their shenanigans, this movie is fueled by supernatural nightmares and the point is made solid by the ghosts and gore in this movie.

Konstantina’s new movie “The Killgrin” where she portrays ‘Miranda’ and is due to be released on April 25th. Also, make sure to follow her on Instagram and praise her role as ‘Shannon’ because in my opinion, she deserves an award for it!

Season 5, Episode 13: Interview with Brett Rickaby (Bill Furnam) from “The Crazies” (2010) - Fear Thy Neighbor

Season 5, Episode 13: Interview with Brett Rickaby (Bill Furnam) from “The Crazies” (2010) - Fear Thy Neighbor

This was a very fun and interactive interview! I absolutely loved talking to Brett about his role in the movie reprisal of “The Crazies” (2010). Even though it’s a remake of George Romero’s, I would honestly have to say the remake did it some justice.

Brett is what we call a “Chameleon” actor; you put him in any role, he will deliver it! This can be backed up with his role as ‘Marcus’ in “Fear the Walking Dead” and to make it more believable, his drive and determination is what makes him a very gifted actor.

We talked about his notorious scenes in the movie: the scene where he burns down the house and the scene in the jail cell. I love how he provided his own insight about his character and what he did in order to prepare for – not just the scenes but for his character. Truly, he’s an inspiration for any budding actor who wished to use the same drive and determination to get where you want to go.

Overall, Brett is an awesome guy. I had a lot of fun speaking to him and this is one of the best interviews this year.

Season 5, Episode 12: Interview with Dawn Cody from “Phantasm: Ravager” (2016) – Celebrating Women in Phantasm

I sat down with Dawn to get the inside scoop for one of my favorite movies from one of my favorite franchises and the information is priceless. From what it was like not to audition for the role (in which she delivered flawlessly), getting to know the rest of the cast and crew, and what it was like on set, to finishing the film.

I especially loved the part where she gives us some behind the scenes secrets and film locations; just to have that knowledge is also priceless.

Here is why I love this franchise and this movie specifically: The permeating mysteries of the series go largely unexplained, partly due to the movies often giving clashing information about what is or isn't real. It has a Lovecraftian type feel where you truly cannot know what's going on. Is the story in Reggie’s heads or Mikes’ head?

If you or anyone you know would like to send ‘Phan’ mail a letter or card to Reggie, this is the address:

Season 5, Episode 11: Interview with Brande Roderick (Tanya) from Wes Craven’s “Dracula II: Ascension” (2003)

Season 5, Episode 11: Interview with Brande Roderick (Tanya) from Wes Craven’s “Dracula II: Ascension” (2003)

Brande - my 200th guest!

It was wonderful to finally sit down with Brande and talk to her about her role in Wes Craven’s “Dracula II: Ascension” and getting a better understanding of what it was like to play her role as ‘Tanya’ and to gain insight what it was like to film the movie as well.

We also dived in about her movie, “Wineville” which happens to be her directorial debut! I am certain that the movie is going to make an impact in the horror community. It’s most certainly a great achievement for any actress to direct her first film, especially when you are as talented as she is.

We also kind of went off topic and spoke about her role in “Starsky and Hutch” acting alongside Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson! She gave a little tidbit about a scene that was 100% improvised and the director kept that scene in the movie.

Brande provides some resounding advice for those aspiring actors and actresses at the end of the interview, advice you might want to take her up on.

You can catch Brande in the horror convention circuit but mostly in her most recent movie, “Wineville” which can be watch anywhere where movies are streamed. You can also follow her on Facebook and Instagram and show her your support!

Season 5, Episode 10: Interview with Bradley Stryker (Eddie) from “Terrifier 3” (2024) – Bartender, I Really Did It This Time

Season 5, Episode 10: Interview with Bradley Stryker (Eddie) from “Terrifier 3” (2024) – Bartender, I Really Did It This Time

Bradley is such a cool and talented actor! Sitting down with him and getting his insight about the movie is pure genius! We spoke about how he got the role and what it was like to be in a scene with Daniel Roebuck and Clint Howard. I couldn’t imagine anyone else playing Eddie – even though his death could have been better executed by Art, it’s still a great death scene.

Be sure to check out his upcoming movies which are currently in production: Jingle All the Slay, LA Jesus, Dog People, Broken Bird, Mr. Wonderful, and Doctor Plague.

Season 5, Episode 9: Interview with Lauren O’Hara (Adeline) from “Heart Eyes” (2025) – Stay Single and Stay Alive

Season 5, Episode 9: Interview with Lauren O’Hara (Adeline) from “Heart Eyes” (2025) – Stay Single and Stay Alive

I could hardly believe that this was Lauren’s first zoom interview since the movie! I absolutely loved speaking to her about her role in this romcom/horror and I will positively give this movie 5 stars.

I love the fact that she went into full detail about her death scene in the grape crusher. She describes it all from beginning to end and I now have a lot more respect for her because her death was one of the best moments in the film.

Even though she is the very first kill, her scream will resonate throughout the horror community, and I firmly believe that she should star in other horror films. She is not short on talent, and she will deliver any role that you put her in, and I do hope that she gets an audition for another horror movie soon.

Season 5, Episode 8: Interview with Lisa Chandler (Mother Camera) from “Longlegs” (2024) – The Devil Is In The Details!

Season 5, Episode 8: Interview with Lisa Chandler (Mother Camera) from “Longlegs” (2024) – The Devil Is In The Details!

This was a wild and interesting interview!

I sat down with Lisa to discuss her role in this very disturbing movie, and we also chatted about her death scene. Getting the insight behind that is pure gold! I loved how she described how she prepared for it, how the scene was shot in one take (which is very rare), and how the atmosphere was still very chill afterwards. There is no question that she is indeed very talented and it’s no wonder I’m a huge fan of her and her work.

I also had a fanboy moment speaking about her role in one of my favorite Sci-Fi shows, “Altered Carbon” – she went into great detail about her scene in the show.

We also spoke about fan theories in this movie; one she hasn’t heard: Nicholas Cage’s character, Longlegs being a former pop/rock star that sold his soul to the devil. Which may explain his high tone of voice and screaming. Though there may be a plethora of fan theories about this movie, you definitely won’t miss the easter eggs and nods towards other horror movies. You will have to watch the movie to catch them.

By far, this movie is one of the scariest movies I have watched because I have a thing for serial killers and true crime. The connections made in this movie are just uncanny. The cults and the dolls, the blaming the devil, etc.

Longlegs is now streaming on Hulu and be sure to have the lights on when you watch it. I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed. You can also follow and support this very talented actress on Instagram!

Season 5, Episode 7: Interview with Lauren Staerck (Cinderella) from “Cinderella’s Revenge” (2024) – This Ain’t No Fairy Tale…

Lauren joined me from across the pond, all the way in Turkey and I must admit that I was very impressed with what she had to say about her character in the film. This is not your normal, everyday child’s fairy tale. This rendition of Cinderella has a much darker side than what we know growing up.

Lauren and I sat down and spoke about her ass-kicking character, Cinderella. I got the inside scoop on what it was like on set and work with the renowned actress, Natasha Henstridge. She also tells us which scene is her favorite and what challenges posed to her while on set. There’s no more to ‘Tale” about this movie except that Lauren acted flawlessly as Cinderella and I found the movie to be very entertaining but with a twist at the end.

There are three movies that she is currently working on: Love, Lattes, and the Christmas Lights, The Devil's Retreat, and Viral Haunt. Be sure to check those out when they are released in theaters. Also, you can support Lauren by following her on social media and showering her with support.

Season 5, Episode 6: Interview with Georgia Eyers (Lara Levonde) from “Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism” (2023)

Season 5, Episode 6: Interview with Georgia Eyers (Lara Levonde) from “Godless: The Eastfield Exorcism” (2023)

You should all know by now that I am huge sucker for possession/exorcism films that are based on true stories or inspired by true events. When I found out about this movie on Tubi, I had to sit down and give it my full, undivided attention and I am glad that I did.

Talking to Georgia about the lead female role of Lara, I got to pick her brain and gain more insight about her character, the movie, and the story behind it. I mean, she delivered with an exceptional performance!

If you get the opportunity to watch this movie, and I hope that you do, you may find it disturbing… Depending on how well you can handle that kind of performance. I found this movie to be very on point with the fine line between mental health instability and actual possession. I will leave that up to you to decide. However, Georgia believes that her character suffered from mental illness, and it was just simply that. If you’re not into the religious aspects of the possessions, then maybe you want to keep looking for another movie to watch.

Overall, magnificent performance from Georgia and the rest of the cast. The movie had me guessing and on the edge of my seat – that is what I exactly expect a horror movie to do, and this one is definitely going to wind up on my favorites list.

Season 5, Episode 5: Interview with Bennett Taylor (Raphael Adolini) from “Prey” (2022) – Not Too Little, Not Too Much

Season 5, Episode 5: Interview with Bennett Taylor (Raphael Adolini) from “Prey” (2022) – Not Too Little, Not Too Much

What an absolute pleasure to speak with Bennett from one of my favorite Predator movies! I will say that I thoroughly enjoyed the hell out of Prey, and I also cannot stress how much I looked forward to speaking to him.

And the fact that Bennett delivered his role flawlessly would be an understatement. Everyone just might was well consider Bennett part of the Predator family – for what his character did for Naru in the movie is very honorable. And the fact that he didn’t receive the recognition for his role kind burns my butt a little.

Sitting down and talking to him, he had a lot to say, and I listened… I am still in awe from speaking to such a talented actor. He spoked about his character, the preparation for the best scenes, and some behind the scenes secrets for filming this epic movie. I hope that the writers bring back Raphael in a memory scene or something because I believe he deserves it.

Let’s talk about fan theories for bit… Obviously, the biggest fan theory and easter egg is the flintlock pistol that Rapheal gave to Naru and how it winds up at the end of “Predator 2” - I’d like to hear your fan theories about the flintlock pistol… How did the Predator in “Predator 2” acquire the flintlock pistol from the Comanche Indians?

Season 5, Episode 4: Interview with Jessica Graves Davis (Siren Sara) from “Willy’s Wonderland” (2021)

Season 5, Episode 4: Interview with Jessica Graves Davis (Siren Sara) from “Willy’s Wonderland” (2021)

I want to thank Jessica for joining me for this interview! She is such a sweet and talented actress, and I am very glad I got speak to her about her role in this movie. I hope that I get to see her come back if a sequel is made.

We spoke about how she landed the role as ‘Siren Sara’, what it was like on set, what it was like to wear the costume, and to work with Nicholas Cage. And we may have deviated a bit talking about true crime and serial killers. My bad…

Influences on the movie – I can definitely sense a mash up of Ash vs. Evil Dead and Five Nights at Freddy’s unless someone else can come up with a better description.

Hopefully, there will be a sequel to this movie. I mean, they left plenty of room for one and it ended on a cliffhanger.

Season 5, Episode 3: Interview with Award-Winning Actress Naomi Grossman from “American Horror Story: Asylum & Freak Show”

Season 5, Episode 3: Interview with Award-Winning Actress Naomi Grossman from “American Horror Story: Asylum & Freak Show”

Naomi is such a fun and wonderful person! I am really glad that I had the honor of speaking to her about her character ‘Pepper’ from American Horror Story: Asylum & Freak Show.

She explained everything about her character: how she landed the role, the strategies she used to prepare for the role, what it was like on set with Jessica Lange, the many challenges she had to face, and finally how grateful she is. Honestly, the casting director could not have chosen anyone better than Naomi.

I asked her what she is grateful for, and she answered that she’s thankful for having the role as Pepper because it essentially changed her life because of the fans of the show and her character.

At the end of the interview, she has a special message for her enormous fan base in which I think everyone should listen to.

Season 5, Episode 2: Interview with Brian Prince (Fugitive Predator) from “The Predator” (2018)

Season 5, Episode 2: Interview with Brian Prince (Fugitive Predator) from “The Predator” (2018)

First, I want to apologize for the choppy audio – there was a slight delay with the questions between Brian and I and for some reason, my podcast microphone didn’t record in 4k. Hopefully you will all still enjoy the interview.

For anyone who knows me, I absolutely love the Predator Franchise and it’s something that I can talk about all day (besides horror movies). It was amazing talking to Brian and getting the inside scoop about his character and the movie.

I can tell that Brian is very passionate about his acting and especially this role. He went into very descriptive detail about performing as the Predator and what it was like to wear the costume. I am also glad that he was chosen because he understood the assignment and he delivered it.

If the franchise continues and another Predator movie is to be made, I hope that Brian gets the call because clearly this guy is one of the best.

Season 5, Episode 1: Interview with Brenda James (Brenda Gutierrez) from “Slither” (2006)

Season 5, Episode 1: Interview with Brenda James (Brenda Gutierrez) from “Slither” (2006)

What a great way to open the new season!

This movie combines elements of small-town zaniness, Martian invasion, married romance, and homicidal zombies in a melting pot of a movie starring Brenda James, Nathan Fillion, Michael Rooker and Elizabeth Banks.

If I could describe Brenda with one word, it would be FUN! I loved how she went into detail describing her character and what it was like to be on set with Michael Rooker and Nathan Fillion.

She broke it down for me: from the special effects to the raw meat that she had to smell and handle while performing exceptionally well. I would not be able to think of a better person to portray Brenda – she auditioned, and she delivered! This is a huge honor for me because I am a fan of the movie and I am a fan of her work – I truly hope that I get to see her in more movies in the future.

I had an absolute blast talking to Brenda and getting the inside scoop about her character, the special effects, the set, the makeup, the director, and other actors.

She is currently involved with a movie called “Dorothea” which is still in post-production. Make sure to keep an eye on the release date!

Season 4, Episode 100: Interview with Alexandra Lucchesi (Marie) from movie Scott B. Hansen’s “Devour” (2025)

Season 4, Episode 100: Interview with Alexandra Lucchesi (Marie) from movie Scott B. Hansen’s “Devour” (2025)

What an amazing way to end the season!

Alexandra is such a cool person! We spoke about her character “Marie’ and how she is a crossover from the “Bad Candy” Universe and both movies happen to be Halloween themed which makes everything perfect.

Essentially, Marie is a part of a vampire heavy metal band battling a warlock that is hellbent on world domination/destruction, I guess. That’s what I am gathering from the trailer anyway – I could be 100% incorrect with that theory and being mislead by the Scott Hansen’s ideas.

She is also in the process of writing her own movie which is called “A Deadly Path” and it’s a post-apocalyptic movie and I am already intrigued by the concept. For some reason, I have been watching a lot of post-apocalyptic movies lately, especially post-apocalyptic zombie movies.

Crank up the volume, raise your horns in the air, and check out the movie when it’s released in October this year.

Season 4, Episode 99: Interview with Elena Juliano (Olivia) from “Popeye the Slayer Man” (2025)

Season 4, Episode 99: Interview with Elena Juliano (Olivia) from “Popeye the Slayer Man” (2025)

Synopsis: A curious group of friends sneak into an abandoned spinach canning factory to investigate the legend of the "Sailor Man," who is said to haunt the factory and local docks.

After watching the trailer, I can honestly say that Popeye looks appropriately terrifying! His sailor's uniform is blood-spattered as he smokes his pipe, and he looks equally frightening from a distance as he watches one of the friends who are in the factory.

It was great sitting down with Elena and getting the inside scoop about this movie! And if you’re like me who grew up watching the Popeye cartoons, you should be fascinated, too. Elena gave some great insight about the film in regard to the location, the use of practical special effects and make-up, and the dynamic of the actors on set. I for one, am looking forward to seeing this movie.

Grab a can of spinach, because it’s sailing into theaters and will be available for streaming March 21st.

Season 4, Episode 98: Interview with Andrew Bailes (Tanner Behlman) from “Black Mold” (2023) - There’s Something in the Air!

Movie Synopsis: While exploring a decrepit and abandoned facility, an auspicious photographer faces off against her traumatic past.

Andrew, Andrew! Such a great and funny guest! I absolutely enjoyed this interview with Andrew and gaining his insight regarding his character and the concept behind the movie.

What have we learned? That the movie was actually filmed in abandoned buildings at decommissioned Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, Illinois. Talk about the director using resources! We also learned that the best method for acting is to jump straight into your role without hesitating and overthinking. Andrew was successful at it and so could all of the aspiring actors out there.

Overall, the movie is a great psychological mind-spank. Andrew brought up a great point, if there should be a sequel, the audience should know how the black mold works when messing with the mind… And Andrew and Brooke defeat it!

Season 4, Episode 97: Interview with Kimberly Jindra (Coven Woman) from "Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones" (2014)

Movie Synopsis: When a young man becomes the target of a malevolent entity, he must uncover its true intentions before it takes complete control of him.

Let’s dive into the paranormal realm for a few minutes! I had the honor and pleasure of speaking to one of the most talented women in horror. Kimberly Jindra who portrays the scary coven woman in this movie delivered her part! Without a doubt, she is exceptional and talented.

You can also catch her in the movies “Insidious” (2010) , “Devil” (2010), and “Insidious: Chapter 2” (2013).

I love the fact that she went into great detail regarding her role and what it was like on set. And, she had a fun time, too! That tells me that she really enjoys her work, and I hope that I get to see her in another horror movie soon.

Season 4, Episode 96: Interview with Carl Toop (Alien Warrior) from James Cameron’s “Aliens” (1986)

Season 4, Episode 96: Interview with Carl Toop (Alien Warrior) from James Cameron’s “Aliens” (1986)

First of all, I would like to say that I absolutely love the Alien franchise! The franchise in which we know started in 1979 and it’s still going strong in the movie industry, the horror community, and in the convention circuit. Who would have thought that a low budget Science Fiction movie would make such a huge difference and impact?

I am honored to have had the opportunity to speak to Carl Toop, the iconic Xenomorph in “Aliens” (1986). He has to be one of the most generous actors I know. We spoke about his role as the Alien Warrior and what it was like to wear the costume, filming on the set, and to work with such a wonderful cast.

He also went into very descriptive detail about the iconic scene with Carrie Henn – the flooded sub-basement scene at Hadley’s Hope.

So what is Carl up to now? He’s a Chef in France! Who would have guessed? However, he remains true and loyal to his fans by attending conventions around the world and in the United States. This actor is a true legend!

If you have the chance to check out the special edition of “Aliens” (1986), please do! The DVD shows deleted scenes from the original cut. And, make sure that you celebrate “National Alien Day” on April 26th and show your support to the awesome franchise, directors, and actors.

Season 4, Episode 95: Interview with Charlotte Creaghan (Aurora) in “A Violent Nature” (2024) – Yoga Kills!

Season 4, Episode 95: Interview with Charlotte Creaghan (Aurora) in “A Violent Nature” (2024) – Yoga Kills!

Celebrating Women in Horror, Part 7 (Final Segment)

As a quick reminder, this is what the movie is about: When a locket is removed from a collapsed fire tower in the woods that entombs the rotting corpse of Johnny, a vengeful spirit spurred on by a horrific 70-year-old crime, his body is resurrected and becomes hellbent on retrieving it.

Sitting down and hearing Charlotte’s perspective about the memorable kill in this movie was very exciting. I mean, I had to pose the question why her character was killed. Was she doing the downward dog incorrectly? Was the yoga mat too cheap for Johnny’s approval? Or was she in Johnny’s spot? There are many questions regarding her death…

And there are many fan theories as to why Johnny was killing them all. Seriously, just kill the one person who stole the locket. The moral of the story is, don’t take what’s not yours. Or we can go with Charlotte’s theory: Don’t mess with Mother Nature.

Season 4, Episode 94: Interview with Maisie Merlock (Young Brooke) from John Pata’s “Black Mold” (2023)

Celebrating Women in Horror, Part 6

For those who have not seen or heard about this movie, here’s what it’s about: While exploring a decrepit and abandoned facility, an auspicious photographer faces off against her traumatic past.

I sat down with a young and talented actress to gain insight about this movie and her role. I can honestly say that the movie is very intense due to the psychological approach and how it deeply probes the mind of the female lead. However, with Maisie portraying the younger version of Brooke, her performance was extraordinary.

I definitely recommend this movie if you are looking for something exciting and mind-bending to watch.

You can also catch Maisie acting as ‘Ginny’ in the comedy horror, “Departing Seniors” which I also recommend watching.

Season 4, Episode 93: Interview with Legendary Actress Catherine Mary Stewart (Maggie Gordan) from “The Last Starfighter” (1984)

Season 4, Episode 93: Interview with Legendary Actress Catherine Mary Stewart (Maggie Gordan) from “The Last Starfighter” (1984)

One of the best birthday presents I could ever get!

I am delighted and honored that Catherine took some time to answer my questions so I could share them with you here. It was very cool to find out more about the film The Last Starfighter. I want to take this opportunity to again thank Catherine Mary Stewart for her contributions to '80s pop culture, especially with her roles in that classic film and, even more, for going back to the '80s for a little while with us here as well.

If you have not watched the underrated gem of a movie, rent it now on Amazon Prime and have your children watch it, too. It’s a great movie about bravery and exploration – and there’s a little bit of a love tale, as well.

Season 4, Episode 92: Interview with Amy Schumacher (Amber) from Steven LaMorte’s “Screamboat” (2025)

Celebrating Women in Horror, Part 5.

Movie Synopsis: A late-night boat ride turns into a desperate fight for survival in New York City when a mischievous mouse becomes a monstrous reality. Can a motley crew survive a killer creature with a taste for tourists?

What a great way to gain some insight on the film! From what was conversed, I cannot wait for this movie to be released on April 2nd.

Amy was able to give some details (not too much) about the movie, the set, the characters, and the dynamics and with it not being released yet, some information had to be withheld.

But the audience can expect blood, gore, and little touch of raunchy even though it’s supposed to be a love letter to our favorite Disney Mouse. Also, there’s some awkwardness in the movie the audience should expect as well… We shall see!

I for one cannot wait to see David as a three-foot mouse who goes on a killing rampage… Maybe I will be able to wrap my head around it after I see the movie.

Season 4, Episode 91: Interview with Skye Coyne (Tabby Banks) from “The Naughty List of Mr. Scrooge” (2024)

Celebrating Women in Horror, Part 4.

One of the many films that presents a Christmas slasher for the year 2024, but this one has a unique twist to the film, I guess that Mr. Scrooge finally lost it.

It was great speaking to Skye and gaining the inside scoop behind her character and the concept of the movie. This movie definitely resonates with the killer Christmas spirit and could very well be compared to other horror Christmas movies. However, this one holds the originality with the Ebenezer Scrooge killer.

With everything leading up to the ending, it is so well-crafted that it's hard to dismiss the film entirely. Watch it for the suspense, the stellar direction, and the fun performances-but know that the destination won't quite live up to the ride.

Watch The Naughty List of Mr. Scrooge on Plex, Tubi, Chilling, Google Play, and Roku.

Season 4, Episode 89: Interview with Kalin Morrow (Hooded Woman) from “Cuckoo” (2024) [BONUS EPISODE]

Celebrating Women in Horror, Part 2

This interview was fun! Kalin is such a wonderful and talented actress because she nailed the role of the ‘Hooded Woman” – and I mean she delivered! For having no dialogue to the creepy screeching and weird body movements, bay far one of the best performances of 2024.

I believe that this was definitely a stand-out performance for her, and excellent at playing a weird creepy villain and a peculiar creature which made it fun to watch and also made me ask myself what the hell is going on at least a dozen times.

For those that have not seen this movie, here is what it is about: A 17-year-old girl is forced to move with her family to a resort where things are not what they seem. And that may be the most perfect synopsis I have ever seen for a horror movie because it’s just that.

Lessoned learned: stay away from creepy German mountain resorts! Or you may become the victim of some crazy life preservation experiment, just saying…

Season 4, Episode 88: Interview with Sam Coleman (Bud) from “Leatherface” (2017) – Origin Story of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Season 4, Episode 88: Interview with Sam Coleman (Bud) from “Leatherface” (2017) – Origin Story of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

I had the pleasure and honor to sit down with the awesome and talented Sam Coleman who you all know as Wyllis from Game of Thrones, but we didn’t speak about that at all during this interview. Sorry.

I wanted to get to know him and his character ‘Bud’from the movie Leatherface, his aspect from the movie and knowing what it was like to film such a great movie. As I mentioned, I love origin stories. Especially origin stories about horror icons; how did it all start and who is the killer.

Sam was able to tell us all of that and he mentioned that he had a lot of fun playing his part alongside Stephen Dorff and Lili Taylor. He described how cold it was filing in Bulgaria and how they had to make it look like a hot summer in Texas. Hollywood magic is what I would describe… But you cannot have that magic without the cast and crew.

Am I a little disappointed that Bud didn’t turn out to be Leatherface? Of course I am – but it was the director’s intention to trick the audience into believing that. I tip my hat to you, Sir. Well done…

Overall, Sam is a phenomenal and talented actor. I am 100% positive that no matter what career he chooses to pursue, there will be no doubt that he will excel. Great guest and I recommend him to be a guest on anypodcast.

Season 4, Episode 87: Interview with Sari Arambulo (Abbie Bladecut) from Shudder’s “Bloody Axe Wound” (2024)

Season 4, Episode 87: Interview with Sari Arambulo (Abbie Bladecut) from Shudder’s “Bloody Axe Wound” (2024)

CELEBRATING WOMEN IN HORROR, PART 1

I had the absolute honor and pleasure of speaking to Sari about her role in Shudder’s Original “Bloody Axe Wound” where as this movie has been categorized as a coming-to-age film. Although a mixed bag of nods to other horror movies, I would have to say that this movie is nothing short of a slashing prodigy.  Sari nailed the role of Abbie, and her co-stars were in their absolute best by delivering to me what is one of the best horror comedies that has been offered in 2024.

We spoke about her perspective of Abbie and what it was like to portray her along with what she thought was her inspirations to her role and the film. And she did admit that she is a Twilight fan, so acting alongside Billy Burke was a total fan girl’s dream come true.

Although she did present some challenges in the role and movie, all in all, I can see that she genuinely loved being a part of it. The only small detail that I was slightly disappointed with is that Jeffrey Dean Morgan didn’t have a baseball bat with him in the opening scene. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, and I highly recommend watching it as soon as you can.

With the end scene of Sam resurrecting from the dead, there may be a sequel to this movie, and I truly hope that there is. Overall, it’s a fun ride with a wild twist to the horror genre. 5 out of 5, no doubts.

Season 4, Episode 86: Interview with Santino Barnard (Cody) from “Monstrous” (2022)

Season 4, Episode 86: Interview with Santino Barnard (Cody) from “Monstrous” (2022)

I had the pleasure of speaking to Santino about his role in the movie “Monstrous” in which he acted alongside Christina Ricci. You may recognize Santino from his other role in the hit series, “Penny Dreadful: City of Angels” in which was not much of a transition for him.

This talented young man is great in what he does… We talked about what it was like on set, being a part of a supernatural thriller. Describing the dynamic between him and Christina, it feels like that those two had great chemistry on set.

We also deviated a little and talked about our favorite horror movies and television shows; getting to know each other more on a personal level.

There’s no doubt that Santino nailed the role of Cody, his talent knows no bounds and it’s nothing short of paramount. I do hope to continue to see Santino in more movies in the future. But first, he needs to pass his driving test!

Season 4, Episode 85: Interview with Award-Winning Actress Meghan Adara (Abigail) from “The Cellar” (2024)

Season 4, Episode 85: Interview with Award-Winning Actress Meghan Adara (Abigail) from “The Cellar” (2024)

I sat down with two-time award-winning actress Meghan Adara to speak to her about her role as ‘Abigail’ in the new independent cult-film, “The Cellar” (2024) directed and written by Jamie Langlands.

Basically, the movie is about a young girl who wakes up captive underground, with amnesia. She must escape, solve the mystery behind her confinement, and confront her personal struggles. A suspenseful tale of survival, truth, and inner turmoil unfolds.

I had the pleasure of watching the movie before interviewing Meghan and I was really impressed on how the movie turned out. The director, Jamie could not have chosen a better actress to portray Abigail. Her method acting is/was on point throughout the entire film and the movie kept getting better and better.

With me being a sucker for religious films, whether it has to do with cults, possessions, exorcisms, you can count on me to watch and critique it. All in all, it’s a fantastic film that have you glued to the scree or television, depending on how and where you watch it.

Make sure to follow Meghan and Jamie on social media to support this film and upcoming projects.

Season 4, Episode 84: Interview with Award-Winning Actress Caito Aase (Angie Pitarelli) from Luke Boyce’s “Revealer” (2022)

Season 4, Episode 84: Interview with Award-Winning Actress Caito Aase (Angie Pitarelli) from Luke Boyce’s “Revealer” (2022)

What’s The Movie About? Tensions rise when an exotic dancer and religious protester are trapped together in a peep show booth and must come together to survive the apocalypse in 1980's Chicago.

One word to summarize this interview: AMAZEBALLS! Caito’s talent in this movie is nothing short of being paramount. With her choreographing her own dance scene to improvising her lines in the movie, I cannot say enough about her.

Revealer is definitely a colorful and visually stunning film with the deep colors and references from H.P. Lovecraft, who we all know is the father cosmic horror. I would lie if I said that I didn’t enjoy the movie because it’s such an amazing movie with great filmography, acting, and the dialogue, the perfect trifecta of any film.

What else is there to say about Caito Aase? The fact that she is in this movie should be enough to justify anything under any circumstance. If you don’t like this movie, then there is something wrong with you. Just kidding. It may not be for everyone but I did enjoy it all the way through.

Season 4, Episode 83: Interview with Dani Oliveros (Olivia Cortez) from “Outbreak” (2024)

Season 4, Episode 83: Interview with Dani Oliveros (Olivia Cortez) from “Outbreak” (2024)

Such a fun guest to have on the shows! Dani who stars in Jeff Wolfe’s “Outbreak” – is such s phenomenal actress. As gifted as she is, I am not surprised that she landed this role.

What is the movie about? Essentially, it’s about a rabies outbreak. And the main character Neil Morris, played by Billy Burk (Twilight), experiences something that we would not normally see. For him, the death of his son altered his consciousness and made him believe that there was a rabies outbreak. Those who were supposedly infected had kung fu and reasoning skills – which is also something that we are not used to seeing.

Dani breaks everything down in this interview: the thought process of Billy Burke’s character, the makeup process, the stunt performers, and what it was like on set. We discussed zombie films and she admitted that it’s not really her thing even though she did watch majority of the series, “The Walking Dead” and we also spoke about that for a little bit as well.

All in all, the movie is great. It has a psychological twist at the end that explains everything by putting the pieces of the puzzle together. It’s definitely a must watch for those who enjoy the sub-genres of zombies and psychological thrillers.

Season 4, Episode 82: Interview with Legendary Actress Dedee Pfeiffer from the Horror Cult Classic “Vamp” (1986)

Season 4, Episode 82: Interview with Legendary Actress Dedee Pfeiffer from the Horror Cult Classic “Vamp” (1986)

Dedee is such an adorable individual! I absolutely loved speaking to her about her role in this movie. I didn’t even have to ask the questions; it’s like she knew what I wanted to ask, and she answered everything I wanted to know. She covered the makeup, special effects, and what it was like working alongside Robert Rusler, Gedde Watanabe and Grace Jones.

This movie is now considered one of my favorite vampire films. Not just because of the cast, but because of the way it was produced. With it capturing the campy essence of the 1980’s, it brought back an era of something that was fun and colorful.
