Ep. 26 | Accepting the Process in Motherhood with Lauren Woodworth & Chandler Lettin, Co-owners of Avyn
Nkiru: Hi everyone, Welcome back to the So You Had a Baby podcast episode 26! Before we get started with today’s episode, we wanted to share a sweet review from one of our listeners, jordandiane26. She says, “Listening to this podcast has been so helpful for me as I prepare for my journey into motherhood. I have found each episode to be so helpful in offering many perspectives on the postpartum period. I also very much appreciate the focus on positivity and giving yourself grace! I would recommend anyone who is pregnant, wanting to become pregnant, and especially those who already have kids to take a listen!” Krista: Shoutout to jordandiane26 and thank you for taking the time to review our podcast, If you are listening and like what you hear, drop us a review. And if you want to know when a new episode airs, click the subscribe button. Now, let’s jump into today’s episode. --- Nkiru: Lauren Woodworth and Chandler Lettin were introduced by a mutual friend in 2015 when they were living parallel lives, both pregnant and in the throes of enormous home remodeling projects. After having their babies and the dust had settled, literally, Lauren and Chandler began seriously discussing what it would take to start a company together. Fast forward three years later in March 2019, the two ladies officially launched AVYN, an athletic nursing bra company. The way they put it is, “Together they are tackling this business venture the way they tackle motherhood- figuring it out as they go, making mistakes, and having fun in the process.” Krista: We had so much fun talking to Lauren and Chandler today. Their postpartum journeys were so different and they both shared such wonderful perspective and advise that I know all mamas listening will find value in. Also,  I personally loved their mom hacks and can't wait for you to hear them! As if that wasn't enough, they created such an amazing product that you definitely need and we know you will love. Ep. 13 | Letting Go in Motherhood with Fitness Nutritionist, Nicole Darabi
Krista: Hey mamas happy Monday, and welcome to the So You had a Baby Podcast, episode 13. Today we have the pleasure of interviewing Nicole Darabi. In addition to being an amazing woman and mama to a beautiful 18 month old, Nicole is a nutrition coach and blogger with her own adapted meal prep techniques and bulk recipes. Her approach to fitness is easily digestible because it includes real life challenges that many women face today. Plain and simple, She helps women cut through the BS of fad diets! Most women over train and under-eat, that’s where she comes in and helps you align those goals with a more sustainable approach. She considers herself a facilitator in others  personal journey to heal their relationship with food and themselves. Her ultimate goal is that all women learn to live smarter, healthier, and more mindfully. Nikki: You guys, Nicole is a rockstar. We had so much fun speaking with her and she was so honest and genuine about her postpartum experience. She shared things that I’m sure you can all relate to.
