Sports Touchdown

In this episode Mmabatho FM Sports Anchor, Tlamelo Kganakga joins Sports Touchdown as we look back and reflect on the 2021 Telkom Netball League which kicked off from the 5 - 12 September 2021 in Pretoria for the first leg and will resume on the 9 - 17 October in Rustenburg.

As 13 teams across two divisions are competing for the 2021 TNL Title.

Division 1: Jaguars (GP) , Crinums (FS) , Golden Flames (GP), Southern Stings (WC), Flames (NW) , Kingdom Stars (KZN).

Division 2: Aloes (EC), Kingdom Queens (KZN), Tornados (WC), Sunbirds (MP), Diamonds (NC), Baobabs (LP), Comets (EC).

In this episode we touch on the CAF Women's Champions League Qualifier games played till the crowning of South Africa's Queens of Football, Mamelodi Sundowns, Team SA's shining Tokyo 2020 Paralympic medalists , Banyana Banyana's 25-women squad that has been selected for the Aisha Buhari Cup and the Momentum GSports Awards.

In this episode we partially touch on the World Athletics U20 Championships, Hollywoodbets Super League and upcoming 2021 Telkom Netball League , Aisha Buhari Cup, FIH Women's Jr Hockey World Cup 2021 and CAF Women's Champions League Qualifiers.
