Living on a Bridge with Kim Danbert

Kim has been conducting psychic readings professionally for 38 years.
Having served on the Board of Directors of the International Tarot Society, Kim was a featured presenter at the World Tarot Congress in Chicago in May, 2002. She has received certificates from the Tarot School’s Reader’s Studio in 2003 and 2019, and from Tarot Reader’s Academy.

John Hijatt is an inclusive practitioner of Northern Germanic paganism. He has been a part of the Druid and Heathen communities since 2006, currently serves on the board of The Troth (an international inclusive Heathen organization of which he has served as the acting president), and facilitates his local Heathen kindred.
In 2016, he started the Gifts of the Wyrd podcast with topics and interviews about inclusive Heathenry. He has worked with runes since 2009 and teaches workshops about their meanings, divination, and magickal use.

The Words of Lenormand and the Shadow Work of a Nation with Erika Robinson
Erika Robinson dispels some myths about Lenormand! In this episode of StaarCast Erika lets us know that Lenormand is more than a fluffy fortune-telling device. Like tarot, Lenormand is a tool of healing and introspection. Uniquely, Lenormand is a system of words.

Harlem, NYC raised, and Harvard educated, Erika Hageman Robinson’s life has taught her to welcome what is around every corner. While desegregating a private school for girls in 1964 at the age of 8, Erika learned that a good command of language was the best arrow in her quiver to bring adversaries either to her side or to their knees.
At Harvard, Erika parlayed her love of words into an A.B. in English Language and Literature. Feeling that she had been called to the Episcopal priesthood, Erika received a Master of Divinity Degree. The Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts was less sure that they were ready for her to be a priest, and that led to yet another 90-degree turn, and stints as Assistant Director of Admissions at Saint Paul’s School in Concord, New Hampshire, Princeton University, and Columbia University.
Around yet another corner were marriage, motherhood, and a thirty-year teaching career. There are turns within turns, and after her husband’s death in 2008, Erika discovered that there are also worlds beyond worlds. Now a Reiki Master teacher, Erika is a reader and teacher of Lenormand, whose thirty-six words combine in infinite ways to guide and warn, comfort, and heal.
For several years, Erika read at Earth Spirit New Age Center in Red Bank, New Jersey. Currently, she reads several times a month at Monmouth Beach Yoga and Wellness Center in Monmouth Beach, New Jersey, and both teaches and reads via Zoom, phone, and email. Erika has been a speaker at Reader’s Studio in New York City, and has been featured at several World Divination Association conferences. Her writing can be found in Cartomancer Magazine, for which she is a regular columnist.

Originally from England, now living in Illinois, Claire enjoyed success for over 20 years in the corporate world of Information Technology.
Claire grew up in a family that was open to spiritual realms. Her Mum was very much into astrology and crystals and was quiet about her own abilities that came out a little later. Claire had her birth chart written when she was 15 years old. Her Dad recalled being looked after by a psychic when he was a child who lived a couple of doors down from his home. Following Claire’s fascination of astrology and crystals, numerology and tarot quickly followed.
Over the past 30 years, Claire has consulted tarot readers, read for herself and friends, and decided to pursue her passion for the tarot by learning how to use the modality to help others. She enrolled in classes and courses, gaining certificates in reading the art of tarot from two tarot professionals. Now a professional tarot reader, along with her business experience, she formed her company Claire Lily (named after her Great Aunt who was her first remembered psychic experience) and has begun her dream of helping others combining her life experiences, intuitive abilities, and her cards.
Last year Claire was inspired to create a tarot deck that was image and word appropriate for her young nieces. Aunt Lily’s Tarot Deck is now a reality!

Mary K. Greer has been studying and reading Tarot for the past 50 years. She is the author of eleven books on tarot and on magic. She was first to write about reading Tarot for oneself.
Mary pioneered what she called the R.I.T.E. method: “Readings that are Interactive, Transformational and Empowering.” Featured at most Tarot conferences in the U.S. and abroad, Mary travels the world teaching Tarot and Lenormand cartomancy.
In 2007, Mary received the International Tarot Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association for Tarot Studies and is a research partner in Le Tarot Associazione Culturale (Italy). She also received the 2006 Mercury Award from the Mary Redman Foundation for "excellence in communication in the metaphysical field," and the 2006 Coalition of Visionary Resources (COVR) award for best divination book. She is also an ordained priestess in the Fellowship and Church of Isis.

V. is a relatively new face in the world of mainstream divination, but is quickly climbing the ranks to become a household name. She is the Intuitive Mistress behind RedLight Readings and is commonly referred to as “The Tarot BFF”. Delivering wisdom and insight through “straight-shot, no chaser” readings, her BFF clientele likens her reading style to that of a best friend - down to earth and practical, infused with empowering tough love.

Art and Intuition with Kristine Gorman
Kristine Gorman paints in oils. In normal times, she reads tarot and makes art from a tattoo studio she owns with her husband in Sonoma, California. That should be enough information to tell you that this is going to be a very interesting interview.

A culmination of a painter and tarot reader life’s work! Now a Podcast as well, her weekly radio show just celebrated 6 years live on the air. “Visionary Woman Tarot Radio Show” on KSVY 91.3 FM where she gives tarot complimentary readings to those who call in.
Kristine has presented at BATS, The Bay Area Tarot Symposium, in 2015 and NWTS Northwest Tarot Symposium, as well as her own workshops and classes in the San Francisco bay area. The second episode of StaarCast features well-known tarot artist Ciro Marchetti. In his conversation with your host, Christiana Gaudet, Ciro shares some great stories. Ciro Marchetti burst onto the tarot scene in 2004 with Gilded Tarot. Since then he has produced numerous tarot decks, two Lenormand decks, a Kipper deck and an oracle deck. His fanciful, colorful art style captures the imagination, inspires intuition, and has expanded our vision of what a cartomancy deck can be.
Ciro Marchetti is also one of the StaarCon Constellation, the organizing body who first conceived of StaarCon and is working to make this annual conference a reality.

Ciro Marchetti is an award-winning artist from the United Kingdom. He studied art in London, followed by a career working in Europe and South America where he co-founded what became the largest graphic design agency in the region. He later transferred to the United States where he opened a branch office based in Miami. In addition to managing his company, Ciro also gave workshops and lectures on digital imagery and illustration at the Fort Lauderdale Art Institute. He continues to create his own personal style of visionary art. Ciro's eclectic portfolio of offerings includes award-winning cartomancy decks, posters, and jigsaw puzzles along with tarot-themed ceramic inlayed wooden boxes, reading cloths, bags, and kimono-style gowns.
