41. Recovering from Working Mom Burnout Feat. Michelle Chestovich
41. Recovering from Working Mom Burnout Feat. Michelle Chestovich
For years, Michelle (a working mom and thriving physician) thought the answer to better managing the busyness of her life was fixing herself. Get up earlier, read more parenting books, get more organized. However, the more she tried-- the more burnout she experienced and the less it did to solve what was underneath it all--- that she was tired of putting on a happy face and fighting what most call 'the good fight'.  In today's episode, Stacey and Michelle get honest about the toll that busyness takes on our mental health and our overall well-being. That even though we think there's an endpoint where it will get better, it never seems to. We just feel like we are drowning in our own lives, while feeling pressured to look like we've got it all figured out and have our shit together.  Listen in as both Stacey and Michelle talk about their personal experiences with losing a family member to suicide and how these experiences have made mental health and well-being for women at the forefront of their work in the world.  Walk away from today's episode with some practical ways to:  ask for help before it feels like you are drowning in overwhelm prioritize your self-care even when it feels selfish  live a more truthful life as a working mom or over-worked woman  stop the cycle of trying to fix yourself as the solution  More about Michelle: Michelle Chestovich, MD is a family physician, certified life coach and mom of four. Her ongoing passion for physician wellness was amplified by the unexpected death by suicide of her younger sister, Dr. Gretchen Butler in March 2021.  She is using her voice to raise awareness about the high risk of suicide in medicine, in particular for women. She speaks out on the need to implement effective solutions to burnout in medicine and empowers physicians to take care of their needs and mental health through coaching and self-compassion. 40. Breaking Through the Body Shame Cycle feat. Loralee Dodson
40. Breaking Through the Body Shame Cycle feat. Loralee Dodson
Have you ever quickly walked past a mirror in a store because you don't want to see the body looking back at you? For almost every woman on the planet, that is a yes more often than not. We see our flaws, our body's shortcomings and we wage quiet wars against ourselves--- in the mirrors, naked in our beds, even as far as how we walk and live in the world around us.  The feelings of shame became an endless loop of not-enough, not quite 'right' or just a little bit more to go (to get to 'perfect'). It zaps our energy, our voices, our work in the world. Because each time we go inward to judge and shame ourselves, we lose a little bit more of the magic that makes us who we are.  In today's episode, Stacey welcomes Loralee Dodson, a certified life & health coach who helps folks learn to be friends with their body and use it’s wisdom to partner together, rather than stay stuck in the spiral of shame thinking they've just got to 'fix themselves' and then it'll be all right.  Listen in as they jam about: being perceived as beautiful and fit (while secretly inside feeling distressed and un-healthy) ditching the idea that there is a 'right' way to take care and nurture your body (what happens when your body won't do what you want it to)  how to make peace with your body instead of trying to fix her  what the should-shame cycle is all about and how you can navigate yourself through it with ease simple techniques to come back into your body, no matter where you are (something so simple you can do while waiting in line at the grocery store) how to disrupt the mind in order to create change with the part of you that defaults to body-shaming    If you are tired of trying another diet, punishing yourself at the gym, and listening to the constant stream of judgment coming from outside and inside your worlds-- this podcast episode is for you.  More about Loralee: Loralee Dodson is a certified life & health coach helping folks learn to be friends with their body and use it’s wisdom. She is a naturally curious person who loves learning and figuring out how people think. Loralee reminds us "when you have an unconditional friendship with your body, you uncover all the awesomeness you arrived on the planet with, that accidently got buried and forgotten about".  To find out more about Loralee and her offerings, visit her website.  More about Stacey: Stacey offers spiritual mentoring for quietly ambitious women who seek to hone their gifts, step more fully into their calling, and have a global impact with their work.  Work with Stacey 1:1 in her Leap of Faith program and join Stacey's private FB group, Everyday Enchantment, where she shares tips and ideas for expanding your intuitive gifts, creating more impact with your work in the world and HAVING FUN in the process.

35. Re-Ignite Your Creative Spark as a Highly Sensitive Person with Julie Ellyn
35. Re-Ignite Your Creative Spark as a Highly Sensitive Person with Julie Ellyn
Creating is the lifeline of a human life. We create each and everyday---- in practical ways like how we put together the clothes on our bodies and the food in our mouths, to more magical expressions like writing, painting, song-writing/singing, jewelry-making.....the muse of the heart, so to speak.  The flow of life-- the ups and downs of everyday-- can be a source of inspiration for artists and and yet there are times when we feel uninspired, blah or even blocked. How do we re-ignite that spark so our art flows again?  Plus, if you are someone who loves to create and also are a highly sensitive person, there is the question of balancing your needs with your desires to share your gifts with the world. I often ask myself, "how do I navigate sharing my gifts while honoring my desire for rest, solitude and space to be?". In today's episode, we are going to explore these two very interesting questions.  Stacey is excited to welcome Julie Ellyn, the creator of a very successful on-line jewelry business called Julie Ellyn Designs. 34. Is Your Brain Stuck on Autopilot? How You Can Break Free
34. Is Your Brain Stuck on Autopilot? How You Can Break Free
It's easy to do--- get your brain on autopilot. Drive the same way to work everyday, park in the same spot (even get mad when someone's in 'your spot') and just live life day-in and day-out very similarly. Although it's comforting to know what you're going to do next, many times we miss the joy and fun in the present moment because we don't deviate from the plan we've already set in motion.  You may even notice that being on autopilot (while it works wonders for making life simpler) can sometimes feel like you're in a funk, bored with the routines you've created.  In today's episode, Stacey shares some simple and fun ways to bust out of brain autopilot mode and mix it up to get your whole body experiencing the present moment. She shares how you can invite more adventure and newness into life as a way to re-connect to the parts of you that access joy, wonder and the awe of presence.  Tired of the same ol', same ol'---- play with the games Stacey shares and see how an ordinary moment may become quite magical when you are willing to stretch yourself out beyond your comfort zone.

33. How I Knew I was an Intuitive
33. How I Knew I was an Intuitive
For most of my life, people have been telling me I'm too sensitive, too emotional, too connected to the world around me. And yet, as I got older I realized that those parts of me were directly tied to my intuitive gifts. Gifts that showed up when I was very young and gifts that the people around me didn't understand. For  much of my earlier life, I kept those gifts a secret (using them only in safe spaces with myself or a few close loved ones).  In today's episode, I share when I first started reading energy and how my family responded to that revelation (I was quite young-- under 10). And how you too can re-connect to those gifts you've had since you were born even if you don't remember yourself back then. It's ok-- you can tap into your talents right now in this moment.  We all walk the planet with intuition---most of us haven't ever intentionally used it. Instead, we feel it, sense it sometimes and follow it in moments when it doesn't want to be ignored. However, how do you become more clear in what it is and how to use it? Today, Stacey's going to share with you some practical ways to be more intentional and aware of your gifts and how to expand it just like you would a new exercise to strengthen a muscle you rarely think about it.  Because once you start strengthening your intuition-- you'll find it is a portal to more clarity, more ease and a whole lot more FUN in your life. More about Stacey: Stacey offers spiritual mentoring for quietly ambitious coaches, entrepreneurs, leaders and creatives who seek to hone their gifts, step more fully into their calling, and have a global impact with their work. 32. Stop Over-Planning & Embrace More Uncertainty
32. Stop Over-Planning & Embrace More Uncertainty
Are you a self-proclaimed planner? A lover of knowing exactly what to do and when. The person everyone else relies on to have the perfect next steps already in mind before things get weird, fun or disastrous.  Planning is such a part of the fabric of doing our lives right. And doing a lot.  If you left it up to chance, you're afraid life just wouldn't work out the way you want.  In today's episode, Stacey questions how holding on so tight to those plans may actually interfere with easy access to your own magic and the enchantment the Universe wants to share with you. 31. Creating an Intentional Relationship with Mother Nature with Ray DePaola
31. Creating an Intentional Relationship with Mother Nature with Ray DePaola
Right outside our windows, our doorsteps and our inner lives is the vast wonderland of Mother Nature. Some of us are drawn to it like oxygen in our bodies and others are more cautious and curious about how the wilderness can be a part of our daily life & enchantment practices.  In this episode, Stacey sits down with Ray DePaola to explore what it means to have an intentional relationship with Mother Nature, to create spiritual practices that support how we want to live and how animals are just waiting to share their wisdom with us, if we ask. Both Stacey and Ray share their own practical experience with creating rituals, practices and even beliefs around the type of life they want to experience -- including what hasn't worked so well either and why.  Get curious about how you can expand your relationship with yourself, the outdoors, the animals-- the life force around us -- in this conversation about how to actually do it (the truth about how we can get in our own way sometimes) and the benefits of letting the beauty of the world speak directly to our souls.  More about Ray: Ray is a Master Life Coach, Coaching for Courageous Men. He helps men rewrite old narratives of masculinity to create healthier, happier, more fulfilling lives for themselves and the people they love. Ray is also a devoted nature lover and animals find him all along his path of life-- supporting his magic in the world and what he shares with those around him. 30. How to Feel Uncomfortable Feelings
30. How to Feel Uncomfortable Feelings
Most of us weren't raised or taught to make space for all the uncomfortable feelings we may encounter in our daily lives, in a way that nurtures our well-being rather than undercuts it. Maybe you allow yourself to be mad once in a while but generally you try to keep it positive.  I'm here to say that without feeling all of our emotions-- which is a daily practice-- we may be cutting ourselves off from fully living our life's purpose. We may not be accessing all of the spiritual enchantment that comes with being a soul in a human body.  So, how do you feel a feeling? In this episode, Stacey has some simple strategies to get you into your body and into the emotion--- without having to over-analyze why it's happening or what to do about it. Emotions are pulses, energy waves-- like being in the ocean on calm days and stormy ones in a way where you build trust with yourself no matter the conditions.  Listen in as Stacey walks you through (without being too heavy or serious) how to meet your emotions exactly where they are today.  More about Stacey: Stacey offers spiritual mentoring for quietly ambitious coaches and leaders who seek to hone their gifts, step more fully into their calling, and have a global impact with their work. 29. Breaking Open Your Creativity with Amy Bernstein
29. Breaking Open Your Creativity with Amy Bernstein
Do you consider yourself creative? Some people would answer YES and others would probably say DEFINITELY NOT. But what if these labels and ideas of what creativity is -- and who has it--- have not served us well and in fact, aren't even true? Maybe you've gotten to a place in your life where you've taken up gardening, started making new recipes in your kitchen or dabbled in writing out some poems or stories because you couldn't not do it any longer.  Creativity is the language of the soul-- and we've all got it. It may just look different in all of us-- and that's where a lot of the fun is hiding. The place where intuition gets to be front and center in our expression instead of our head's intent.  In today's episode, Stacey jams with novelist and creative Amy Bernstein about how we can reclaim those creative parts of us and do it in a way where we let go of the rules and have more fun experimenting.  Stacey and Amy explore what it means to find your creative center & express it-- especially for those of us seeking to explore this side of ourselves in mid-life and later. More about Amy: Amy writes novels, plays, poems and hybrid forms of fiction that explore the intersection of politics and culture. Some of her work is realistic, some is experimental. Throughout her life, she has done many things, all of them involving writing-- including being a journalist, speechwriter, communications director, and grant-writing trainer. Amy's books include The Potrero Complex, The Nighthawkers, Dreams of Song Times, and Fran, The Second Time Around. She's also a certified nonfiction book coach. 28. How to Get Your Head off its Hamster Wheel
28. How to Get Your Head off its Hamster Wheel
It's easy in today's world to be overwhelmed, over-committed and thus, over-stressed. I was the person who would plop into bed at night thoroughly wiped from the day and yet toss and turn my way through a crappy night's sleep. It was as if I could never turn my head off. My mind would swirl and I'd feel like my days were endless repeats of the same stressful hamster wheel.   In today's episode, I share with you some simple steps for helping you reduce the stress and overwhelm and find the place where you can exhale a deep long breath. With a few small ideas, you can invite more peace and ease into your day. Imagine getting in your car to an appointment with plenty of time.... putting on your favorite music and enjoying a slower pace of getting where you want to go. It's not only possible, I know you can create that for yourself (or whatever calm looks and feels like for you).  More about Stacey: Stacey offers spiritual mentoring for soulfully-driven coaches and leaders who seek to hone their gifts, step more fully into their calling, and have a global impact with their work. If you are human on the planet-- you've probably had some struggles with your relationship with food and body. The pressure to be good-- to do life right by being thin, to be as close to perfect as possible has taken so much time, energy and focus with little to show for the results-- except burnout, frustration and a continual belief that maybe if we just did our food stuff better, we'd finally arrive at the perfect relationship with our bodies.  Today, I want you to meet Renae. She spent thousands of dollars, consumed so many things that she didn't like, and used up A BILLION HOURS on fixing that could have been used on sharing her magic with the world. She found peace, freedom and so much FUN through developing trust with herself. 26. How to Use Your Fantasies to Create in Real Life
26. How to Use Your Fantasies to Create in Real Life
While I was going through my divorce, I found a lot of space for fantasy-- imagining some perfect life for myself out in the future. Which included a hot fling with a man I saw each night at the gym (mind you, I NEVER spoke to him in real life). However, the energy I used to fuel this fantasy seemed to be a type of protection for the big emotions I was experiencing going through so much change, loss and growth. Instead of judging myself, I learned a lot from this fictional relationship---- breadcrumbs for magic in REAL LIFE. Along with, compassion for the parts of us that are super-uncomfortable in the messy middles of our transformations.  Listen in to this episode as I share this story and what I learned--- taking your own bites of inspiration for how your fantasies could be clues to expanding your own enchantment right now, no waiting required! Rather than beat yourself up for why the present moment isn't the HOT FLING you dream about.....find the space for self-compassion, expanded awareness and something quite HOT in your now.  More about Stacey: Stacey is a Master Life Coach & Intuitive who helps coaches, creatives & entrepreneurs expand their intuitive superpowers in easy and simple ways. 20. How to Kick Your Inner A$$Hole to the Curb with Amy English
When was the last time you tried on a bathing suit and said to yourself "WOW, I LOOK & FEEL AMAZING"? My guess is that for most of us that isn't the first thing that comes out of our mouths about our bodies, especially in summertime. Most of us gravitate to some very mean self-talk, thinking that is the way to motivate ourselves into getting the body we want. Get real with yourself-- that isn't working so well is it? Consider instead finding the place where you felt more ease and peace in your body-- the one you have right now.  Well, that's exactly what we are going to be sharing with you in today's episode with Amy English. Amy joins Stacey to talk in real terms how we befriend the body we have-- and not just pretend it's all good when it's not. Part of this process, is what Amy calls "turning down the volume on your Inner A$$hole". Amy gets honest about how all the fighting and self-hatred is the first part of changing your relationship with yourself and thus also with the world around you (including your relationship with food).  If you want to learn some practical steps for having more love for yourself--this is the episode for you. 19. Play a Game with Your Frustration
We've all been there. Frustrated, overwhelmed, angry -- or some very powerful emotional state. We are so in the emotion it's hard to see any other way but in it. I get it and I never want any of us to skip over the feeling part of life. However, once we've felt the truth of something-- we can also invite insight and mindshifts through a game I love to play called The Game of 5.  In this episode, Stacey shares a tool you can use any time to step out of a current situation and offer it a new perspective. When we are able to look at events/people/emotions with different perspectives, it can create gaps in our mind for a deeper knowing to come through. And that is where we can experience enchantment, clarity and even surrender in situations that feel fraught with tension.  More about Stacey: Stacey is a Master Life Coach & Intuitive who helps people create lives that they can’t wait to wake up to. OOH Summer-- how so many of us look forward to the warmer temperatures or longer days all year long. So, what are we all to do with this 'busy' time?  In this episode, Stacey shares one tool of enchantment that she uses with herself and clients all year long that helps us cut out the noise and clutter and get to the FUN. 14. Discovering What You Really Want this Summer

Most of us only stop and reflect haphazardly---- however, the more we use this sacred pause and space to get curious--- the more we find that click between what we want and what we do on the daily.   So what is it that you want this Summer? Do you know? It's okay if you don't. I'm going to walk you through an easy process so you can use that heart of yours to weigh in on the summer of your dreams (not anyone else's).

9. How to Tell the Difference Between Your Intuition & Your Wound
9. How to Tell the Difference Between Your Intuition & Your Wound
In today's episode, I answer a questioned posed by a member of Everyday Enchantment. She asked "how do you tell the difference between your intuition speaking to you and when it's one of your wounds?". This is a great question because so many of us wonder how to tell when to trust our intuition, our inner knowings and when to offer ourselves space to hold the tender parts of us talking (our wounds as many like to refer to them as).  You don't need to read 10 more spirituality books or take that many classes to know how to work with your intuition and how to understand the wisdom of what is being shared with you. Stacey offers a few simple, easy-to-implement ideas for how to deepen your relationship with your intuitive gifts, as well as what to do when you feel triggered by life (like we all do as humans walking this planet).  Listen in to discover how to expand your intuitive tools and use them in daily life while at the same time honoring the being-human-part of this amazing life.  If you have a question regarding this episode or anything else enchantment, head over to my FB Group, Everyday Enchantment to join in our lively community. And, if you'd like your own coaching session where you can expand your intuitive gifts in daily life -- check out my website for all my offerings and to sign up for your own session.

8. Creativity & Enchantment with Sarah Seidelmann
8. Creativity & Enchantment with Sarah Seidelmann
Somewhere along the line many of us ditch the magic and mystical interests of our childhoods in favor of 'being an adult'. And through this coming of age, we may find we lose the awe, wonder and connection to ourselves that we once had (or yearn to discover now).  Enter Sarah Seidelmann. An accomplished author, Shamanic mentor and all-around creative spirit on this planet, Sarah reminds us of the creative soul that lives within all of us. Her joy, her humor and her love of Mother Nature encourage us to reconnect to the artist within all of us. Not as another 'job' to do, but rather as a pathway to healing and vitality.  Listen in as Sarah shares the magic of the plot twists of life (those moments when things didn't go to plan) and how we can use those to open ourselves up to more intentional joy and delight in our everyday lives. Enchantment lives all around us and Sarah invites us to strengthen our relationship with her and have fun in the process. If you'd like to learn more about Sarah and all her offerings, please check out her website @ followyourfeelgood.com and if you are interested in her upcoming program called Creative Soul Retrieval: A 100 Day Project Experience, go here to find out how to register. 7. How to Be in the Truth of Your Feelings
7. How to Be in the Truth of Your Feelings
It is so often that in a quest to be happy and live a positive life, we find ourselves skipping over an enchanting part of ourselves--- our messiest feelings. Yes, it may not seem true that being in the truth of our feelings will expand our enchantment- but listen in as I explain how doing just that will actually opens you to more magic.  In the age of bypassing unhappiness, sadness, anger when it's truly simmering under the surface, we carry a lot of these emotions in our bodies instead of letting them be felt and move through us with greater ease. In this episode, I share how you can be with the discomfort of your feelings in ways that are healing and authentic to being human. There is power and healing here--- in the messiest of moments and feelings. I offer some small, practical steps that don't take huge amounts of time and result in more flow in your mind, body and spirit.  If you'd like to talk more about feeling messy feelings or anything else enchantment, head over to my FB Group, Everyday Enchantment to join in our lively community.  And, if you'd like your own coaching session where you can practice feeling your feelings in small, practical ways -- check out my website for all my offerings and to sign up for your own session.

6. Exercise & Enchantment with Kelly Backert
Ever felt pressure to get your body "summer-ready"? You are not alone. This time of year, many of us turn to exercise to make our bodies do and be a certain way for swimsuit season. It's not particularly fun-- nor does it usually work. There is another way to approach exercise and moving our bodies and Kelly Backert of Kore Bootcamps and Kore Barre & Yoga is here to chat with me all about ditching the 'hard way' in favor of making our relationship with movement loving and supportive instead.  In this episode, Kelly and I get real about the messages we are inundated with about how our bodies should be -- and we share real life examples of what we've both done over the years to heal our relationships with our bodies in order to reclaim our personal sovereignty. Join us for this juicy conversation about all the pressures we feel-- the choices we make to try and conform and how ditching what the world teaches can be the first step to feeling freer, more peaceful and more at home in our bodies, at every size.  Kelly is passionate about body love and helping us all find the place where we remember we are enough-- without a grueling exercise plan that doesn't feel like love or the inner critic pushing us along even against what feels good and true for us.  If you love this topic and want to continue it, join me in Everyday Enchantment to chat about this episode and all things enchantment.  If you are ready to ditch the pressure, the shoulds and the mean-bully inside your head, come get coached by Stacey. 1. How to Create a Daily Enchantment Practice
1. How to Create a Daily Enchantment Practice
Enchantment may seem like something that is reserved for special occasions. Something that happens every once and awhile and something that happens to you. That may be what we've been taught to believe about magical moments--- about things that happen seemingly out of nowhere and with great coincidence-- but Stacey believes that we all have easy access to these little and big moments of delight--- every day.  In today's episode, Stacey is going to walk you through a few simple steps to help you create your own enchantment practice. You may also call it your spiritual practice or even your way to connect to your intuition on a more consistent basis. Learn how to connect with meaningful intentions for your day in simple, practical ways that don't discount the messier parts of being human-- like when the washing machine breaks and nothing feels enchanting about that.  Use this practice to feel more connected to what you care about while being able to navigate the less-fun parts of your day too. Plus, the more you focus on your using your intuitive gifts and receiving guidance from the Universe, Spirit, Love, God--- the more you will discover practical magic in your life right now and that is a gatekeeper to more joy.
