Healing Money Trauma feat. Meaghan Alton

Money. It can cause us to constrict, expand, laugh or cry-- and we hold so many beliefs about it that can get us sideways in our lives.

Today, we're going right into the heart of our trauma with money--- because we've all got something related to money.

Listen in as I welcome today's guest Meaghan Alton-- who is here to help us unravel a lot of those beliefs that separate us from the type of success we want to have in life.

Together, we jam about:

  • how to work with the money beliefs that don't belong to us but we seem to follow them anyway
  • why making more money doesn't seem to solve our money 'problems'

  • why we have a hard time asking for what we want

Authenticity & Brand Embodiment feat. Angela Winter

Authenticity & Brand Embodiment feat. Angela Winter

There are so many shiny 'brands' out there in the world of the interwebs. But there's something amiss when we try to be all things to all people and be something we really aren't. Truthfully, that energetic misalignment speaks volumes without saying a thing. And that 'shine' really is more lackluster than we realize.

How do we instead embody who we are and create our brand from a grounded, authentic place?

So glad you asked . . . because today, I welcome Angela Winter, a brand embodiment guide & web designer who uses her intuitive and creative superpowers to help visionary service providers light up their business and call in their to-die-for clients.

Listen in as we jam about:

  • the worst brand advice for creators & entrepreneurs
  • the role trauma plays in our desire to be visible and authentic
  • the role of integrity & intuition for your brand
  • allowing yourself and your brand to evolve
  • the power that shining our light has in repairing the world (if nothing else, listen to Angela speak to this-- right around the 38th minute)

It can be scary to follow your own path--- to show up openly and truthfully and there's a whole group of us committing to doing it--- integrating our human + soul. If you are listening and reading this-- know that you are too and come be a part of our communities.

Reinventing Yourself at Mid-Life feat Colette Topfer

Reinventing Yourself at Mid-Life feat Colette Topfer

What do you want to be when you grow up? It's the question we all grow tired of when we are young, but what happens when we feel like we're asking it all over again at mid-life?

Most of us feel like we should already have it figured out or at best not be trying on every new thing to see if it fits.

In this episode of Everyday Enchantment, I welcome Colette Topfer, a retired Lieutenant Colonel who shares her journey of midlife transformation after leaving the military. Collette discusses her decision to retire to spend more time with her young children and how she navigated the transition from a structured military life to new ventures, including teaching and mentoring.

Listen in as we chat about:

  • the importance of family, self-reflection, and being open to new opportunities
  • the challenges and joys of reinventing oneself
  • the significance of community, curiosity, and service in achieving personal growth and fulfillment

More about Colette: Colette is a wife of almost 17 years and a mom of an amazing son and daughter growing up way too fast.
As a kid, she grew up a Navy Brat which meant moving a lot!! She decided to enlist into the Army and spent the next 25 years of her life climbing the Army ladder through various positions and ultimately retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.  Once she retired, she taught Army JROTC in Baltimore County (through the pandemic) and then shifted into Defense Contracting.

Throughout the grind of her busy family and work life she's always tried to find time to coach and mentor as it is one of her passions in this stage of life to help where she can!  She also continues to ask herself what do you want to be or do when you grow up….. and continues to transition through life one day at a time. Follow her latest adventures on Instagram -- https://www.instagram.com/keepingitcolette/

If you had to choose money or fun-- which would it be? Most of us would choose money, right? But, what if by having more fun--- you could actually find yourself with more fun-ds.

Listen in as we:

Finding Your Intuition Amidst Anxiety feat. Savannah Blake

Finding Your Intuition Amidst Anxiety feat. Savannah Blake

Our body is a complex system full of information -- and as so, it isn't always so easy to figure out what's what. Like when are you feeling anxiety versus when is it your intuition speaking to you.

What if instead of being either/or-- these things are related and are absolutely worth investigating as part of truly understanding your body, mind and spirit.

Today's guest, Savannah Blake, has done just that. Gone on her own personal journey through debilitating anxiety and found a deeper wisdom as result of her own experiences.

She shares her personal journey -- from panic attacks that could make her pull off on the side of the road-- to a place where she supports others in navigating the journeys that don't quite fit into the conventional boxes.

Listen in as we jam about:

  • navigating your own experiences of anxiety (did you know there are different types that require different interventions and strategies)
  • how to advocate for what you need- using practical information with your intuitive knowings
  • understanding your own personal alarm systems-- that can seem quite vague if seems to always sound the same
  • using emotions as messengers and guides to more peace and freedom
  • confronting the isolation that anxiety can bring

Break Free of Negative Conversations & Drama

Break Free of Negative Conversations & Drama

We've all done it -- the classic bitch session to someone we love. Venting, complaining, vomiting about all the ways the world/day/person sucks.

There is a time and place for it-- and there's the place where you get stuck doing it as everyday conversation. Or even worse-- you are stuck listening to it from people all around you. By the end of the day, you feel like you've been hit by a truck and barely have enough energy to make it to the couch to decompress.

In today's episode, I share some practical tips for breaking this cycle. Most of us learned connecting this way --- to show how much you are suffering too. It can breed drama and negativity and if it's just our default loop, it doesn't create the meaningful connections we crave.

So listen in as I share how we can do it another way, develop emotional wellness and reclaim our right to feel good as we connect with those around us.

Lean in to Impostor Syndrome Using the Body as a Guide

Lean in to Impostor Syndrome Using the Body as a Guide

Have you ever felt yourself swallowed almost-whole by imposter syndrome? Feeling like at any moment, someone will find out that truly you are a terrible, unworthy person? Perhaps even reject or abandon you - and that fear secretly consumes you --- has you over-performing to the point of exhaustion and frustration more often than not.

If you're human-- I have a feeling your answer is yes. It seems to be part of how we've come up in this world-- to doubt our very selves at the cost and expense of our well-being.

In today's episode, I welcome Tony to a coaching conversation where he shares his own honest relationship with imposter syndrome.

Together, we skip the over-analyzing and instead come back home into the body. A place where you can ground into your own energy and discover truths that may be more helpful and more supportive than allowing the mind's worst-case ideas to hold you in its talons.

Maybe there is no fix needed -- no proving to yourself that you're not an imposter, but rather choosing a gentle loving body-led alternative that takes a different road instead.

Breaking the Loop of Conditional Happiness feat. Molly Purvines

Breaking the Loop of Conditional Happiness feat. Molly Purvines

When was the last time you stopped and checked your stress level? Like really paused and paid attention how you feel right now.

Do you feel grounded in your body? Do you feel happy? Or are you noticing some anxiety, some tightening of your neck, chest or shoulders? Does your to-do list or that argument you had yesterday keep your mind racing and your body a bit on edge?

Today's guest, Molly Purvines, believes most of us are walking around with a low grade "stress fever" that we've normalized as part of our daily life. This "fever" keeps us from truly experiencing happiness in the present moment.

And although it would appear that we need other people or our life's circumstances to change before things get better (hello better spouse/children/bank account/job/body) --- Molly disagrees.

Listen in as Molly shares with us how to break this never-ending stress loop today that keeps us from meaningful happiness/joy--- without having to fix ourselves or change anything else around us.

Kickstart a Healthy Lifestyle this Year feat. Kelly Backert

New year . . . new diets to try? There's something about a new year that beckons us to try the latest diet trends even if they aren't what is best for our individual bodies because they almost always promise us a quick-fix to that weight we think we must drop asap.

Today, Stacey welcomes health coach, award-winning personal trainer and owner of Kore Bootcamps & Barre/Yoga, Kelly Backert to look behind the curtain of the latest 2024 diet trends, to explore why diets (even the new ones) aren't the magic pill we want them to be, and to learn instead what you can do to heal your relationship with food.

This is the year to break the endless cycle of new-year dieting in favor of finding peace and well-being with your body.

Stacey and Kelly break it down into 3 parts (all included in this episode):

  • 2024 Diet Trends
  • Challenges around Weight Loss (starts at 20:28)
  • Tools for Better Health (starts at 40:02)

Stacey and Kelly explore why it can be so hard to lose weight even if we're doing everything 'right' and offer simple-to-use tools that can help bring more peace and calm to your relationship with yourself (a loving starting point to better wellness).

Please submit all questions you have about this topic and this episode to stacey@staceyandon.com or kellysbootcamps@gmail.com. Stacey and Kelly will address all questions in an upcoming future episode.

Welcoming the Age of Aquarius feat. Randi Botnick

Welcoming the Age of Aquarius feat. Randi Botnick

Whether you know anything about or agree that we are entering into the Age of Aquarius-- it is for sure we are in the midst of a planetary shift right now.

We may feel some days like we are spiraling into a deep, long dark night of the soul that we aren't sure how to traverse without harm to ourselves and/or others.

It's murky and yet equally hopeful as all of this change seems to be nudging us to greater harmony and spiritual connection.

Here to help us better understand the changes and how they are affecting us is today's guest, Randi Botnick. Her wisdom and the wisdom of the galactic groups she channels are specifically here to help us create a new way forward with greater joy and ease to our bodies, minds and spirits.

Listen in as Stacey and Randi explore:

  • why our physical bodies are feeling out of alignment (and the connection to our nervous systems)
  • the role of the divine masculine and feminine in the upcoming years
  • how our relationship with our trauma and our past is changing and evolving
  • messages directly from the Arcturians that will bring us more clarity and peace (this is a galactic group Randi channels)
  • the role joy and sovereignty play in our spiritual practices

There is much afoot right now on this planet and we are all here to live it into experience as Randi shares. The more we can honor the complicated process without problemizing it-- the more we can find our way forward/through.

More about Randi: Randi became a Sekhem-Seichim-Reiki Master and an IYT yoga instructor in 1997, and a Clinical Hypnotherapist in 2003. She has been channeling galactic groups since 2010. What it Means to Be Embodied feat. Nona Jordan

What it Means to Be Embodied feat. Nona Jordan

For most of my early life, it was too scary and felt too un-safe to inhabit a body that was getting traumatized and abused regularly. It wasn't until I began my life coach training, that I started to unravel the mind-body connection and consider coming home to myself. And even then, it was so uncomfortable that I resisted on the regular.

Both Stacey and today's guest, Nona Jordan, know what it's like to be disconnected from their bodies. They share openly their own journeys and experiences with learning how to come back to the practice of being present in the body.

They also acknowledge the difficulties in navigating the world's power structures that have held most of us in power-over positions feeling quite controlled rather than liberated to honor our own physical needs first and foremost.

Listen in as the two talk together about:

  • simple embodiment practices that you can implement today
  • the connection between our bodies and our emotions
  • the radical act of granting ourselves permission to move at the pace of our bodies
  • the role forgiveness plays in embodiment

And as always, we encourage you to take one thing from this episode that rings true and play with it in your daily practices.

The Messy Path of Grief feat. Belinda Smith

The Messy Path of Grief feat. Belinda Smith

Losing someone you love-- like your mother- can be a messy path of grieving that twists and turns even after the grief seems to dissolve into 'ordinary' life.

There is no one way to feel and experience this type of loss and it can be quite tender the last two months of the year during the holiday season.

4 years ago, both Stacey and her guest today, Belinda Smith, lost their mothers within a few weeks' of each other. They get together today to open up about the messiness of it then and now and share their unique experiences.

Listen in as they share about:

  • messy emotional meltdowns that can come out of nowhere
  • how the stages of grief are more like a tornado than a straight linear path
  • how the holidays are changed as a result of such a significant loss
  • how death affects your surrounding relationships in ways you didn't expect

Grief is a bumpy road full of hope and pain--- we honor yours and wrap you in love as you feel all the feels this season (may it be the holidays or not).

Being No Contact with Family feat. Kelly Backert

Being No Contact with Family feat. Kelly Backert

There's something that most people misunderstand about going no contact with a family member. And that is if somehow we just tried harder we could make it work. Because after all, it's your family.

For anyone who has made the difficult choice to go no contact with family, it can get even messier at the holidays (as most of the people around us don't get this boundary).

Stacey welcomes back Kelly Backert of Kore Bootcamps & Kore Barre & Yoga back to the show to talk about what it's like to be in a no contact relationship with family and how to navigate other people's judgment and misunderstandings.

Both Stacey and Kelly have experienced childhood abuse and made the decision to create very clear boundaries for their own well-being. Just as they spoke about being true to themselves in their last episode (Authentic Friendship), today is also about doing what is best for one's self-- even when no one else gets it.

Listen in as they talk about:

  • the role that spiritual practices play in making relationship decisions (and how even 'spiritual' beings can get tripped up in our closest relationships)
  • the decision to stop explaining choices they make (and how to truly do this when it's so hard)
  • the nuances of forgiveness and what it does/doesn't mean for being true to yourself
  • managing yourself during the holidays in ways that support your well-being (which may/may not include no contact)

More about Kelly: Kelly Backert is a Certified Personal Trainer and the owner of three fitness studios including Kore Bootcamps and Kore Barre & Yoga (Bel Air and Perry Hall). She is here to help us heal our relationships with food and body and find the place where we remember we are enough.

Death & Rebirth feat. Essence Turner

Death & Rebirth feat. Essence Turner

You know that moment-- when you look around at your life--- and you secretly admit to yourself "this doesn't feel right anymore" or maybe you question "is this really who I am & then cringe to yourself 'no, it's not''".

These moments-- where everything that we've created suddenly feels off--- can invite us into a very dark space of death and uncertainty. As beautiful and transcendent as these moments can be--- the messy middles of transformation can be some of the rockiest waters to navigate.

So many spiritual voices talk about the beauty of being reborn-- of shedding the selves that no longer serve us---- however, when it's happening -- it can feel like you've been dunked under dark murky waters without a breathe, without a path and you may wonder how you're really going to get yourself through to another side.

Today, Stacey welcomes Essence Turner who is no stranger to leaning in to the experiences of spiritual and metaphorical death on this planet. A powerful healer, Essence shares her biggest journeys with death and rebirth and offers insights that not only helped her along the way, but can serve as breadcrumbs on your own journey.

Listen in as Stacey and Essence talk about:

  • the role of self-forgiveness in allowing yourself to change and let go (the most intense f-word out there)
  • how death and rebirth have their own unique timelines (and how to interpret and work with them)
  • the process of radical honesty (and processing feelings around your truths) that can lead the way forward
  • the places during these transformations where you can get stuck (and what to do instead)

More About Essence: Essence Turner is the CEO of Beautiful Happy Goddess. She’s a Certified Radical Forgiveness Coach, Certified Shamanic Healer, Certified Hypnotherapist, and a Certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher. Simplify Manifesting

Simplify Manifesting

Let's stop making manifesting a complicated spiritual endeavor that only a few get quite right in this lifetime.

Instead, let's make it more simple and get to the point of our desires and preferences in ways that also make time for the practicality of being a human on this planet (i.e. I need a nap and a delicious dinner today).

Stacey cuts right to the point in today's episode. Want to have more impact around your desires--- part of what's got to go is letting go of the 'trying'. Trying to make things happen really never quite works nor does what she calls "spiritual coercion".

Stacey shares personal examples of her own manifesting journey including . . . connecting with her husband (who was dating someone else at the time she knew he was her person) and smaller things like wanting to see a life-long friend who hasn't been in touch.

Simplify your process and let the miracles come to you. Listen in as Stacey shares exactly how to do this as a soul-ful human.

More about Stacey: Stacey is an intuitive coach who wants to help each person find the beauty and joy of a soul-ful and human life. Are You Living in Your Body feat. acupuncturist, Dr. Colleen Curran

Are You Living in Your Body feat. acupuncturist, Dr. Colleen Curran

"Be more authentic". "Come back into alignment". "Ground yourself". These edicts are all over the spiritual landscape these days and yet if we are being honest--- most of us aren't doing such a great job at being physically embodied. No judgment here--- pain, trauma, social conditioning, and other disruptions have caused much of our split and we struggle to find our way back.

In today's episode, Stacey welcomes acupuncturist, Dr. Colleen Curran, to dive into the deep end of authentic embodiment. Colleen's life work is to help more humans live in their bodies full time. It isn't as complicated as we think and also we may need to challenge some of what we've been taught along the way. Listen in as Stacey & Colleen get curious about:

  • using energy vs. labels to identify areas in your body needing your attention
  • making space for silence and exploration in Mother Nature as a healing modality
  • discovering the sunrise and sunset as energetic bookmarks to our physical and energetic bodies
  • reclaiming our own inner authority when it comes to embodiment (rather than relying on outside sources)

And as always, Stacey encourages you to find one thing that resonated today and let that simmer in your heart, letting go of the rest.

Let Go of Expertise Syndrome

Let Go of Expertise Syndrome

How often did you consult a friend, a book, the internet over the past week for an answer to a question you had? I have a feeling it was A LOT. In this era of unprecedented access to information, we are trained to search out expertise outside of ourselves on the daily. Someone, some book, some course, some science knows better than us--- but what is the cost to this endless loop of searching? Anxiety? Fatigue? A low-grade apprehension running through our days?

Listen in on how this desire to find the 'expert' outside of ourselves can derail our desire for joy, peace and freedom in our lives and what you can actually do about it ---- today.

Learn how to be the imperfect expert in your own life and reclaim the power you naturally have within you.

In today's episode, Stacey gets honest about:

  • how we were taught to search out expertise in favor of our own truths (and how that can hurt us)
  • how to break the cycle of this endless searching for the "answer" to our latest question, dilemma, challenge
  • how our nervous systems and our bodies can be wise channels of truth (and how to access them)

More about Stacey: Stacey is an intuitive coach who wants to help each person find the beauty and joy of a soul-ful and human life. Trusting Your Gut When You Have No Proof

Trusting Your Gut When You Have No Proof

You're about to make a really important decision and you get this funny feeling that what you thought you should do isn't the 'right' thing anymore. You have this feeling in the pit of your stomach that is redirecting you --- in a direction that feels completely uncertain and possibly unexplainable. However, your body keeps nudging you toward this belief/action/message that you have no proof for.

Do you listen to it? How do you know if it's 'right'?

In today's episode, Stacey shares two stories in her own life around trusting her intuition when there was absolutely no proof that it was all going to work out or that it was 'right'.

Listen in as Stacey shares:

  • real-life examples of following your instincts when it doesn't seem to make much sense
  • how to confront your deepest fears and insecurities around trusting yourself
  • learning how to date trust and build a beautiful relationship with it

Stacey reminds us that "when we find ourselves in uncertainty, it doesn't mean that we're lost. It doesn't mean that we don't have clarity. It means we are willing again to trust ourselves." As with each episode, focus on one thing that resonates and let the rest slip away. Enjoy that message meant for you and let it guide you as you trust it's meant.

Practical Ways to Lead with Your Heart feat. Aysin Karaduman

Practical Ways to Lead with Your Heart feat. Aysin Karaduman

We hear it all the time---- lead with your heart, and let the mind be of service. But what does that actually mean in real-human life? So many people wonder if they are "doing it right" and truthfully, it's a lot simpler than most spiritual gurus and experts would lead you to believe.

In today's episode, Stacey explores these questions with Aysin Karaduman, a holistic life coach committed to redefining the good life. The two of them take apart what it means to come back to the body and find your guidance by listening in to your heart in very practical terms.

Listen in as they share:

  • why it's truly impossible to "get out of your head" and what you can do instead
  • how the body holds truths that we sometimes ignore or miss (and how to access them)
  • the basic needs that we're actually missing it and why it causes undo suffering
  • a beautifully simple (and short) meditation to get yourself connected right now to your heart

As always, Stacey would love for you to find the one thing that resonated most today and let that simmer in your mind, body and spirit this week as you create your days.

More about Aysin: Aysin helps the world and her clients call BS on the rat race of modern life and finally go after their dreams — using a blend of mindset tools, the ancestral perspective and correcting some misunderstandings about just what it means to be human today. Grieving My Mother's Suicide

Grieving My Mother's Suicide

Today's topic is a tender one with highly sensitive content around suicide and may be upsetting to some listeners.

4 years ago, Stacey's mother died by suicide. It was and wasn't a shock to Stacey-- however, it led to a very messy year of grieving that didn't really follow a specific path.

Not only did Stacey and her mother have a strained relationship, her death brought up years of childhood trauma and secrets around addiction and mental health.

Stacey shares her journey with her grief as well as how you can navigate the darker experiences of your life with great compassion and care to your truths and heart.

You too can break the shame cycles, the bypassing and supposed 'brokenness' that our lives have encountered in favor of breaking the rules of grieving, healing trauma and reclaiming the power of your own soul.

It is time to break the stigma of talking about the darkest of human experiences so we can create lasting change on this planet --- change that begins with truth and opens us to more of what seek--- freedom and peace.

Enchantment begins with the messiest of human experiences and makes space for it all.

More about Stacey: Stacey is an intuitive (yup, psychic) coach and a channel for healing who wants to invite you to be part of the practical magic that is shifting this planet through messy, human-soulful love.
