Ep. 152 - Quaid Walker (Bezel - Pre-Owned Watch Sales Platform)
Currently there are what feels like a thousand ways to buy a watch. Authorized dealers. Multi-brand boutiques. In-person auctions. Online auctions. Online Dealers. The Grey Market...and of course Online Marketplaces. Bezel is an online marketplace you’ve surely heard of if you’ve been collecting for a while, and today’s guest, Quaid Walker, is here to tell their story. As one of the three co-founders, we delve into his background, Bezel’s approach to gaining client trust, and we even chat about collecting sneakers and surfing under the Golden Gate Bridge.Links:STANDARD Hhttps://standard-h.com/@standardh_Bezelhttps://shop.getbezel.com/@getbezel

Ep. 151 - George Glasgow, Jr. (George Cleverley Shoes)
I tell you what - this podcast costs me a lot of money. I’m so enthralled with my guests and what they do I almost argue I’m required to buy more products as a result of these recordings. Today is an absolute testament to this as George Glasgow, Jr. is my guest today. George is the CEO of George Cleverley, a business his father, George Sr., took over from the original George (Cleverley). I have long been a fan of this brand for the better part of 20 years - since the days I was living in North Carolina & introduced through the pages of GQ & Esquire. Like many subjects on this podcast, shoes can be an addiction, and if you have a brand of shoe that fits you so well, you’ll more than likely agree. George and I talk about his early days working, drinking whiskey together, the car he’s been hunting, as well as some distinctions of the various models in the Cleverley range. I’m thrilled to now call George a friend, and I had the distinct pleasure to meet George, Sr. last Fall where I snapped several portraits of Father & Son in black and white which I’ll be sure to post.Links:STANDARD Hhttps://standard-h.com/@standardh_George Cleverelyhttps://www.georgecleverley.com/@georgecleverley

2025 F1 Season Opener with Blake Buettner
Today, the F1 podcasts continue with my good friend, Blake Buettner. Blake and I decided it would be fun to do more than just one or two episodes for this year's racing calendar, and make it feel more like a season's worth of Special Episodes for both of our Podcast listeners. In this episode, we chat about the start of the season, the first two races, and what's to come. I hope you enjoy it!Links:STANDARD Hhttps://standard-h.com/@standardh_The Deep Trackhttps://thedeeptrack.com/@thedeep_track

STANDARD H Round Table 1
I have been thinking about how to bring something fresh to the STANDARD H Podcast. After all, what began as a weekly show, soon became only twice a month during COVID. That workflow worked well as it was less stressful, with fewer deadlines, but as I gained speed in the editing process, and things on the apparel side became more streamlined, I felt I could introduce some special episodes. This was actually why the Pit Stops were born. Though I’ve meant to do more of those, they seem to be more along the lines of a seasonal thing, so I plan to do more of those this year, while also creating this new series. This is the STANDARD H Round Table: conversations with friends about the things we love - a less-formal approach to a podcast, primarily sharing our passions for cars and watches, and our experiences with them. This series couldn’t feel further from an interview. These episodes will host no fewer than 3 people including myself - some previous podcast guests, and even host some new names, not unlike this first episode. I hope you enjoy these and I’d love your feedback on the format.Welcome to the Round Table.STANDARD Hhttps://standard-h.com/@standardh_

Ep. 150 - Jeff Hilliard (Limited Editions for HODINKEE / Menswear Contributor))
It’s highly likely you either know who Jeff Hilliard is, or you’re familiar with his work. And if you’re still coming up short, your favorite people in the style community have worked alongside him. Jeff’s one of the mainstays and brains behind many of the Limited Editions watches from Hodinkee, while he also moonlights as somewhat of a NYC fashion staple as one of the 3 J’s in Blamo!’s JJJ Show. Together, he and I chat about style, his journey with clothes, what will never leave, as well as his approach to watch collecting. Lastly, even though he brings it up, Jeff happened to pen my favorite article in HODINKEE history called Finding My Father in His Watch. You’ve probably read it. We didn’t go into it, and that’s mainly because we ultimately decided to make this a two-part conversation, so without further ado…here’s Part 1 with Jeff. Ep. 149 - Stephen Pulvirent 2 (Rime + Reason / The Enthusiasts)
Stephen Pulvirent and I haven’t caught up in a while in person - he’s been busy with a newborn, I’ve been traveling and working on production stuff when in LA - so I invited him onto the show, somewhat selfishly, to see what he’s been up to. He recently launched a new venture with our good friend Justin Hast called The Enthusiasts, in addition to his Creative Consultancy, Rime & Reason, so I’m excited to hear more about that. The first half of our conversation is heavy on photography chat and I couldn’t wait to ask what’s up with all the blurry photos?!Links:STANDARD Hhttps://standard-h.com/@standardh_Stephen Pulvirent@sjpulvirenthttps://www.rimereason.com/

Ep. 148 - Paul Boutros (Phillips Watch Auctions)
No doubt, if you’ve been into watches for a while, Paul Boutros is a name that’s more than likely come up. His watch journey began as a child, not unlike many of us, but his affinity for the hobby led to a career when he left his job at Lockheed Martin and joined Philips Auction House over a decade ago. I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know Paul throughout the last several months, and today’s conversation only furthered that fact. This episode is one of those where it twists and turns and arguably starts backwards, which was super fun. Please enjoy my conversation about, you guessed it, cars and watches, and a little bit of missile defense with Paul Boutros.

Ep. 147 - Douglas Weber (Weber Workshops)
Not long ago, Ted Gushue posted a coffee maker on his instagram stories noting it was incredibly over engineered. He had me at coffee, but his description is what kept me hooked on the video. Perhaps a foregone conclusion, but as a man obsessed with details, I bought it. Weber Workshops' BIRD now serves as my go-to coffee maker every morning, and I thoroughly enjoyed learning more about and its founder, today’s guest, Douglas Weber. This conversation, like many, stemmed from a cold-call email I sent after receiving my BIRD, and not only was I delighted to know Douglas would be down to record, I was surprised at how much more we have in common. We’re effectively the same age, he’s an IWC guy and drives an older Porsche - none of this I knew prior to recording. If you’re like me and really enjoy getting to know the people behind the products you buy, well, buy something from Weber Workshop and then listen to this episode. You won’t be sorry.

Ep. 146 - Alp Sever (Langepedia)
As you may know, I’m a massive fan of A. Lange & Söhne, the watch brand based in Glashütte, Germany, and it doesn’t take long to encounter my guest’s website when doing any version of a deep dive on the brand. Alp Sever’s website, Langepedia, began as an Instagram page only to later evolve into the place to gain even more knowledge about these amazing timepieces from the state of Saxonia. Somewhat unexpectedly, in my favorite way, Alp and I go off-piste, conversationally and chat about heavy metal, public transportation, as well as tobacco and olive farming. This was a super fun episode for me, and I can promise this won’t be Alp’s only time on the show, so I hope you enjoy it.

Ep. 145 - Christian Knoop ( Chief Design Officer IWC Watches)
Today’s guest is a special one. Christian Knoop is the Chief Design Officer of IWC, perhaps my favorite watch brand, and certainly my first love among them. Christian and I met a year ago at an event in their flagship boutique on Rodeo Drive, and he was kind enough to host me last April when I also toured the factory. Needless to say it was an incredible experience and the hospitality was amazing. We chat about his design background, his approach to design, the various families in their catalogue and Christian offers a glimpse into what it was like designing a watch with Lewis Hamilton. I hope you enjoy our conversation because I sure did.

Ep. 144 - Glenn Au (Junior's)
I honestly don’t remember how I first heard of Junior’s or today’s guest, Glenn Au, but my guess is through Matt Hranek and/or his magazine, WM Brown. The point now, however, is that I have in fact heard of him, and even more importantly, as of October, I can now say I have visited him at his shop in Philadelphia. Glenn had somehow heard of me and/or my podcast as well, so it was such a kick for us to unveil our knowledge of one another…to one another. Junior’s is my kind of shop. It’s small, has a very pointed assortment of quality goods sold and overseen by someone who loves product knowledge as much as I do. In fact, Glenn’s knowledge more than likely extends beyond mine, which always makes me happy as someone searching for new knowledge. Junior’s is timeless, classic and as you’ll hear us mention: it’s the perfect intersection - my words, not his, mind you - of just enough American, Italian and English. It’s the Holy Trinity of menswear in my opinion. The perfect trifecta.

Ep. 142 - Trevor Wynn (Pare Pare Podcast)
If you’ve ever listened to the podcast, Pare Pare, I think it goes without saying, its host Trevor Wynn and I have several interests in common. He and I have recorded twice for his show in two different locations, so when we were scheduling this conversation, we made it a third, and it isn’t just any location - we actually recorded this in my car. We met in Orange County to attend an event at the IWC Boutique at South Coast Plaza, so it served as an insanely convenient, quiet place for us to talk Monterey Car Week, his personal car journey, and of course his experience with watches. We get into the whys and hows of Pare Pare and Trevor also shares a bit about his day job as an employment defense lawyer. I’m super happy to call Trevor a friend and I’m equally as happy to share this chat with all of you.

Ep. 141 - Adam Craniotes (RedBar Founder, Watch Journalist)
The watch world is a funny place where even before you meet someone, it’s often you follow one another online knowing well you’d be friends even had you met at a bar down the street. I guess in a sense, Instagram serves as a virtual bar for watch geeks like myself. Adam Craniotes and I met through the Social Media platform where he shares his self-deprecating humor, his admiration and allegiance to David Hasselhoff, and of course his pseudo-public humiliation of his children. I happen to adore his relationship with his kids, but we’re here to chat all things watches, his writing career, his collecting journey, and of course his Acura MDX with the Sport Package. Of course none of this would’ve been possible had he not routinely met a friend at a little upstairs bar in the Koreatown neighborhood of Manhattan. That bar was called Red Bar, and so the watch group was named. Please enjoy my conversation with its founder, Mr. Adam Craniotes.

Ep. 140 - Pete Stout (000 Magazine)
When you think of a magazine, you probably envision a fairly flimsy object comprised of ads making up 70% of its pages, and destined for the garbage having read it pool-side on your most recent vacation. Pete Stout’s magazine isn’t one of these. 000, the Porsche-centric publication Pete co-founded is far more of a book, and one more likely to perpetually live on your coffee table for months at a time, that is, until the next issue arrives. Between the quality of materials used, incredible writing, and unparalleled photography, this car magazine is truly second to none among its competition. Though biased based on my penchant for Porsche, I can assure you, if you’re also a fan and not already reading 000, you’re missing out. This conversation was an absolute thrill as Pete and I discuss everything from his first job to the 000 limited edition cars Porsche is now making based on his preferences! There are several incredibly touching stories he shares, which honestly had me wondering if I should’ve broken this up into two episodes. I’m proud to say it’s all here, so I hope you enjoy it. This episode is certainly among my favorites.

Ep. 139 - Kat Shoulders (Watch Photographer)
Kat Shoulders has been someone who I’ve been meaning to host for quite some time. I’m so happy we finally recorded, and as someone I have loved seeing at events, it was so nice to have a discussion away from crowds. We chat about her go-to camera gear in various situations, how you can get the Leica look for less, and we reflect on her podcast, Tenn & Two, which of course gets us into her watch journey. We even chat about interior design and what car she may just get for her next camping adventure. Please enjoy my conversation with Kat!

Ep. 138 - Justin Berkowitz (NN.07)
If you’ve worked in retail and subscribed to enough magazines as I have for as long as I have there are several names in the apparel industry that are evergreen and one of them is Justin Berkowitz. As a long-time contributor to several magazines - Details having been one of the main fixtures on my bookshelf for years - Justin has been a fashion mainstay behind the scenes of some of America’s major retail moments. His knowledge is wide-ranging, from watches to outerwear, so I was thrilled to learn he’d be open to being a guest on this podcast. Ep. 137 - Cameron Steiner (Collectors Gene Radio)
Cameron Steiner is a Collector with a capital C. He kindly hosted me on his podcast, Collector’s Gene Radio, several weeks back, so this conversation was an effortless progression of our budding friendship. In a now-rare in-person recording, Cam and I discuss how he began collecting, why he collects, and some of the answers to some his own questions. Cameron has exceptional taste honed by his grandparents which he has extended to his own personal watch collection. It’s fair to say the Porsche community is a robust and passionate one. Given my proclivity for the brand, I almost feel lucky there are so many great events which showcase the cars and today’s guest, Adam Kern, is in the mix. Checkeditout is a Chicago-based event showcasing Porsches for enthusiasts once a year, and I’m thrilled to say STANDARD H will have a booth at this year’s event happening August 24th. Ep. 135 - Bryan Braddy (Bad Art Nice Watch)
You may be familiar with today’s guest, Bryan Braddy for a few different reasons: perhaps you heard the extended length Pit Stop last month where Bryan interviewed me, but you probably know him from his art which is under the label Bad Art Nice Watch. If you happened to be at the Grand Opening of the new IWC Boutique on Madison Avenue, perhaps you met Bryan there as he painted live. Regardless, you will quickly learn that Bryan is one the nicest guys in and around the watch world. Ep. 134 - Wes Kwok (Nodus Watches & Intersect Show)
In the watch world, you have huge brands, big brands, independent brands, small brands, and even micro brands. But today’s episode with Wes Kwok of Nodus Watches highlights some big moves. From starting with nothing, to reinvesting in his company with his partner, Cullen, only to begin producing parts for others, the journey has been no small task. Further, Wes and Nodus have led the charge for a new kind of watch show with Intersect, where the focus is to keep the crowds to a minimum while having a large, supportive community impact. Ep. 133 - Neall Brick (Citizen Watches)
Neall Brick and I met through WindUp a couple years ago and immediately hit it off. He was shooting with a Q2 and I was selling a jacket he wanted. Funny how these things can happen. With very limited research, I quickly found out Neall and I had even more in common - namely a history working within the apparel industry, so I was excited to invite him on the show. In this conversation, we explore Neall’s watch journey and chat about how he became an instrumental part of Citizen Watches somewhat through a chance inquiry on LinkedIn. Ep. 132 - Katrina Vrakas (Jeweler)
I first learned about Katrina Vrakas through one of her pieces of jewelry worn by none other than her brother, Justin. I met him at my booth at WindUp Chicago nearly two years ago, and I find myself developing something with Katrina as we speak.
Her jewelry is unlike most, which is why I’m drawn to it, and it was wonderful to learn more about her background, how & why she got into jewelry, as well as her history with watches. I found my world shrank further when she told me recently that she’d once worked for Analog Shift - a company I’m sure most of you are aware of.

Ep. 131 - Jussi Oksanen (Pro Snowboarder Turned Commercial Photographer)
Growing up in North Carolina, in order to be as enthused about snowboarding as I was living in Raleigh, one resorted to VHS & DVD’s to get stoked. Some of you may be very familiar with this approach and even perhaps with some of the production companies such as Standard Films and Mack Dawg Productions. Well, those were great, but it was a small crew which made up Robot Food that absolutely had me watching videos over and over and among that crew was Jussi Oksanen.Jussi was always one of a handful of my favorite riders to watch year after year - his style was fun, his creativity was clear, and I truly believe Robot Food wouldn’t have been the same without him. Long story short, in combination of Instagram DM’s and our mutual friend Matt, we set up a time to record, and I’m thrilled to share it with you today.Though retired from snowboarding, Jussi is still very much outdoors, though behind the camera as a commercial photographer producing images with the same sort of stoke-inducing outcomes. Mechanics. So many have the reputation that seamlessly dovetail into similar conversations about used car salesmen. Well, I can assure you today’s guest’s reputation precedes him, as I heard how amazing of a human Marco Gerace was prior to ever meeting him. Over the last several months, we began an Instagram DM dialogue, and have chatted at a few meetups where I took a chance on him coming on the pod. He obliged and here we are: me introducing one of the best-known Porsche mechanics in all of Southern California and for good reason. TLG Auto is incredibly reputable and his clients are everyone you probably follow online. Our conversation is full of heart in my opinion, starting with some horological enthusiasm, followed by some meaningful family discussion, and of course some car talk. Today’s episode is one of those that absolutely flew by for me, so please enjoy my conversation with Marco Gerace.

I told him I'd be more than happy to do it, and though it took several months, I'm glad we were able to make it happen. John Reardon is someone I’ve long wanted to meet, and even though it’s often I meet people in person prior to hosting them on the show, there are certainly episodes with folks I’ve never met. John is such an incredibly friendly and approachable person that this didn’t feel like a first meeting - it’s one of those situations where you’ve followed someone’s content long enough to where you almost feel like you know them. Perhaps some of you know feel the same about John. He and I bounce around in such a fun way, and obviously always land on Patek Philippe, the storied watch brand/family-owned company that has completed molded John’s career. I don’t think you’ll find a more educated person on all things Patek which is why there’s an inherent trust in his business, Collectability. And because he agreed to come on this podcast, you’ll also learn about his first car and his wide-ranging taste in music. Please enjoy my conversation with none other than John Reardon.

Wes Wynne and I met through mutual friends back in October in NYC. We share a lot of the same passions including cars, watches and music, so it was only natural that we’d hit it off. With the growing number of watch dealers, I was excited to host Wes, who launched Collectors Corner New York only a few years ago after a career in the music business, which I was unaware of. Today, Wes focuses on the best examples of the pieces he sells, so rest assured if you’re buying from him, he’s done a lot of legwork for you already. His innate sense of research is apparent as you’ll soon hear, and he is one of the most down to earth people in the watch game, so I’m stoked to call him a friend.Per usual, the conversation twists and turns including his collegiate level Squash game.

Today’s episode is a bit of a special one for me. Not to sound trite, but my “watch journey” has involved a ton of trial and error. I feel like this is true for all of us. When asked about potential regrets, John Mayer famously said “the first 10 to 12 watches when you think you’re amassing a collection…” Though the numbers aren’t the exact same sentiment, buying and experiencing various straps can be a similar path.Well, allow me to do you all a favor and save you the time and money by simply referring you to the European-based watch accessory brand, Molequin - the pronunciation of said brand to be discussed later with today’s guest, Michael Luther. I have referred countless people to Molequin’s site as I believe it to be the absolute best intersection of quality & price. Michael and I have grown our friendship over the years through Instagram, and we’ve also had several Zoom chats. I recently invited Michael to stay at my house on his recent visit to California which was a blast to say the least. He & I sat in my kitchen to talk about the brand’s early days, the ups and downs of business and some of the costs associated, we even go over the correct pronunciation of the brand name. We wrap up discussing GT3 Touring ownership: my personal grail car. If you pay close attention, there’s even a tiny Easter egg in here as well, so stay tuned for that. This was the first podcast I’ve recorded in person for quite some time and it was so much fun.

Ep. 124 - Paul Sweetenham (Farer Watches)
Paul Sweetenham and I first met in 2022 in New York City at wind up. We were introduced by former podcast guest Carter Mclean who told me how much of a car guy Paul was, so I was excited to chat. This conversation certainly ping-pongs back-and-forth between automotive talk and of course his watch brand, Farer. I was excited to also get Paul’s take on some Formula 1 news, only confirming Carter was right: Paul was an ideal candidate for this show, so I hope you enjoy it.

Ep. 123 - Nick Lehner (Strap Habit)
Many of you listening have probably either heard of, or actually bought a watch strap from Strap Habit. I first connected with Nick Lehner, the brand’s one man band through Instagram and finally got some face time at WindUp this past Fall. Since then, we’ve chatted more about business and growth strategy only for me to then cut conversations short for reasons he’s on the show today.Nick’s one of the good ones. Thoughtful, honest, and not least of which supportive, and I can’t thank him enough for his time and his friendship. Like many of these, this conversation takes an unexpected, but wonderful turn, and I’ll leave that for you to soon discover. Please enjoy my conversation with Nick from Strap Habit.

Ep. 122 - Adam Golden (Menta Watches)
If there’s such thing as a player’s coach within the world of watches, it’s Adam Golden. He’s straight-forward, honest, and he can either chop it up with you or get straight to business, which I really appreciate. We chat about everything from his recent pieces bought to sell, his approach to selling them, and he’s very candid about his margins and processes which shouldn’t be taken for granted. This one went quick for me which is usually a tell-tale sign a conversation is engaging so I hope you feel the same.

Ep. 121 - Doug DeMuro (YouTube Star & Founder of Cars & Bids)
Doug DeMuro needs very little introduction if any at all, and I was thrilled to host him on the show.We chat Countach ownership, the early days of his career, starting Cars & Bids, and I ask what his advice would be for collectors, what his favorite Quirks are, as well as a few of his interests not many know about. Please enjoy my conversation with Doug DeMuro.

Ep. 120 - RT Custer (Vortic Watches & Colorado Watch Company)
RT Custer started Vortic Watches right around the time I started STANDARD H, and the better part of the last decade has been an adventure for him to say the least. He started a company, was in a 6-year lawsuit with Swatch, had two kids, and then decided to start a second business alongside everything else. He’s been BUSY. Per usual, this conversation wanders and I wouldn’t have it any other way, so I hope you feel the same.

Ep. 119 - Spencer Reynolds (Artist)
Spencer Reynolds is an artist I met at the US open of surfing in Huntington Beach, California, roughly 10 years ago. His art struck me by way of its trippy, surrealist approach to landscapes and ocean scenes. This conversation certainly took some turns I didn’t expect, including his time working in the wakeboarding industry, as well as some time, spent chatting about his meditation practice, and overall things in conjunction with mental health. I can’t thank Spencer enough for his candor, and without further ado, let’s jump into this episode.

Ep. 118 - Josh Shapiro (J. N. Shapiro Watches)
Josh Shapiro and I met through an event with the guys from The Collective this past summer. We’d been exchanging emails about getting together for a while, but hadn’t yet met face to face, so it was a treat to meet him out and about as well as among some watches!Josh has a fascinating background in the educational system - he was a Principal, in fact - so he wasn’t exactly born into the Watch industry. However, as you’ll learn, he was kind of primed for it in his own way. Today, his company, J. N. Shapiro, produces some of the most beautiful watch dials on the planet, and Josh has officially set out to restore watch manufacturing here in the United States. He’s a baseball fan, and talk about a big swing…and he’s certainly kept his eye on the ball, and has seemingly made solid contact. Here’s my conversation with Josh Shapiro.

Ep. 117 - Henry Catchpole (Automotive Journalist)
Today’s guest has been on my short list for literally years at this point. He’s one of my favorite car journalists living today, and his cool, calm, and collected approach to enthusiasm is really unique in the automotive space. Of course I’m talking about Henry Catchpole.Henry and I have several mutual friends, notably the gentlemen over at The Grey Nato, while we also share a love for cycling and golf. Needless to say, Henry was primed for this podcast!I’m always excited to chat cars on here and who better to do it with than one of the GOATS. I hope you enjoy it.

Ep. 116 - Morgan King (Watch Collector/Social Scoundrel)
Morgan King probably needs no introduction. He’s a double-wristing watch aficionado, affectionately known as a Magical Man of Mystery, a NY native and an LA resident…he’s also one of my favorite people to hang out with, full stop.I’m thrilled Morgan took the time to come on the show, because his energy is simply unmatched.

Ep. 115 - Michael Pearson (Zodiac Watches)
I first met Michael Pearson at a Bremont event in Los Angeles in 2018. Reacquainted in Chicago last year at WindUp, he now serves as the Global Director of Zodiac Watches, and man he’s crushing it. We start off with some sales and management chatter which weaves in and out of the entire conversation, really, and Mike shares the story of a horrific car accident that he was involved in which certainly gave him a new lease on life. We then discuss his time working on cruise ships and we later get into some Landrover Defender talk. Mike is definitely one of my favorite people in the watch industry, which goes for many others as well, and I can’t thank him enough for all of his insights into Zodiac and the watch world at large.

Ep. 114 - Wyatt Gilmore (Grant Stone)
Needless to say my first WindUp was a fruitful trip for this podcast. I feel incredibly fortunate to have met so many wonderful people behind the companies exhibiting that we all love. Wyatt Gilmore is no exception. We had booths adjacent from one another, and though I had no idea our paths would cross, I’m certainly stoked they did. We saw one another again in San Francisco this Spring and I made sure to let him know I was interested in hosting him…thankfully he accepted. Grant Stone is his Michigan-based footwear business bringing great-looking, timeless style that is primarily Direct to Consumer, and given my affinity for shoes and boots, I was excited to chat. There are certainly some additional nuggets that surprised me about Wyatt involving two wheels so stay tuned for that.

Ep. 113 - Carter McLean (Drummer)
Carter McLean is a drummer I have followed for years online. When he walked past my booth at WindUp last year in NYC I had to introduce myself. We quickly started talking drums and watches and he even walked me over to the Farer booth to introduce me to Paul, a fellow car enthusiast. I was thrilled when Carter agreed to come on the podcast, and here we talk more about all of the above as well as drumming technique. Carter shares how John Mayer helped him secure a very special watch, and an incredible story of a letter he wrote himself at a young age. Full disclosure, I geeked out a bit on this one and Carter’s answers to my questions only substantiate why he’s become one of my favorite drummers playing today. I mean, we even talk about the humidity levels in his studio. Even if you’re not into drumming, please give him a follow, because his video content is really wonderful, especially if you appreciate anyone who’s insanely good at what they do. It truly is a pleasure to watch.
