The State of Boston

This week Joe and I Tarantino the shit out of the one of the best football weekends we've seen in our lifetime. We start Bills-Chiefs and slowly work our way back to Bengals-Titans, taking some pits stops and vulgarity filled tangents along the way. I take a real special moment to pay homage to (laugh at) a few of my buds who are Packers fans (Toggie and Gravel) and their horrendous lot in life as sports fans to be regular season darlings and post season chokers. We finish up by discussing who want to see in the Super Bowl, and who we think will actually make it there. Joe and I both picked the Packers to win it all so, you're definitely gonna wanna hear this hard-hitting on-the-money analysis that we deliver week in and week out. We NEVER miss!

This week we lay to rest the wet fart finish of that was the 2021-2022 New England Patriots' season. Joe and I go from being melancholy, to angry, to confused. Very little x's and o's talk this week, its mainly raw emotion and laying blame at the feet of those in the organization we feel wronged us the most last Saturday night in Buffalo. We give Josh Allen his due (which he rightfully deserves) and I say things about Bill Belichick that I never thought I'd utter in my entire life. We also try and hash out how to plug up the MANY personnel deficiencies staring the Pats in the face in the offseason (Bill has his work cut out for him to say the least.) We finish up touching on the rest of the Wild Card round and how we see the rest of the post-season shaking out.

P.S. Just 'cuz the Patriots season is over doesn't mean we're going away. No No. You assholes aren't rid of us juuuusst yet. WE'RE NOT FUCKIN LEAVIN! We're gonna do an episode every Wednesday until the the NFL crowns a champion. So fret not friends, we'll be back in a week to breakdown divisional weekend and preview the conference title games.

I complain about my fantasy football championship loss and how the city of Cleveland should cease to exist. In the middle, Joe and I spend entirely too much time arguing about Mac Jones vs. Trevor Lawrence and we finish up on the draft and possible Patriots free agency moves cuz Joe loves those 2 things more than actual football I think. On this episode Joe & I reminisce about John Madden's unexpected passing to open the show; a true titan of the game who transcended football and became an American Icon. We quickly move on to this past weekends frustrating display by the Patriots against the vaunted Buffalo Bills. We get around to "One Big" after Joe makes "1 last point" roughly 5 times. Then we hop around the NFL quite a bit and somehow get more confused/ excited about the playoff picture than last week. I also may or may not eviscerate N'keal Harry & suggest some things the Patriots should do with him instead of have him play football for their team. It's a fun & insightful one for sure.

Another humdinger of an episode comin' at ya from Joey Bag a Donuts & Uncle T!

We start out DOWN bad as our first recording got corrupted on my laptop. After many minutes of panicking and despair, Joe gave me the inspiration to move on and try again. Thats what its all about, rallying your teammates when they mess up!

We start out lamenting technology but quickly move into all the bye week shenanigans that took place in week 14. We touch on the 2 huge losses by the Bills & Ravens and what those mean. We lambaste Urban Meyer (for quite a while actually) mere hours before he gets shit-canned out of Jacksonville, and we preview Colts/Pats this weekend and all types of the permutations that could play out in the AFC with a loss or a win by New England.

WE'RE BACK!

Much like Stephon Gilmore, I only wanted to work half a season this year, so I decided in week 8 to team up with my buddy Joe Bonini and do a weekly Pats podcast!
