Stephen Perse Podcast: Ep. 25 - Planting trees in Kenya to improve the environment
Join Principal Tricia Kelleher and members of our student Eco Committee, as they talk to farmers in Kenya who are working with TIST to plant more trees. TIST encourages Small Groups of subsistence farmers to improve their local environment and farms by planting and maintaining trees on degraded and/or unused land. As the trees grow, carbon captured is quantified and verified and certified greenhouse gas credits are sold in the global carbon market.
