When You're Ready to Listen
By Stephen R Villanueva
And since our entire relationship with God rests on “believing,” it is important we learn how to separate the truth from the many lies and fictions that abound within the religion of Christianity.
So, when you’re ready to listen – tune in and discover a pathway to freedom, encouragement, life, and hope.

EP144 Revelation 17 verses 10-11
There are 5 of the heads who have fallen, one is, the seventh is yet to come and will remain for a short while, and the Beast is also an eighth but is one of the seven. Five angelic beings manifested themselves to the people of God to be worshipped as gods. They have since fallen from their place of prominence and are no longer worshipped. They are Baal, Ashtoreth, Milcom, Chemosh, and Molech.
The Spirit said the sixth now is. In the first century, the central god who manifested himself to be worshiped is Zeus known throughout the Roman Empire as Jupiter. This god is still worshipped today by the people of God in the form of a statute of St. Peter. The idol of Zeus/Jupiter stands in St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome and millions worship before this idol.
The seventh was yet to come, but he will remain only a little while. Since the first century only one being has manifested as god, and that is Allah.
The Beast is an eighth but one of the seven. Chemosh was a head, then he was vanquished to the Abyss being butchered, and rises again as the Beast (as the eighth), supercharged with the dragon’s power, throne, and great authority.
EP143 Revelation 17 verse 9-10
It takes a mind with wisdom to understand the mystery of the Beast. The 7 heads now are 7 mountains on which the woman now chooses to sit, and they now are 7 kings; five fell, one now is, the other has not yet come; and when he may come, he now must remain a little while.
With the use of the present tense, this cannot be speaking of a revised Roman empire, and the reference is not to the 7-hills of Rome, because this speaks of mountains, not hills. The mountains are kingdoms, ruled by these kings, who are heads, leaders, spiritual rulers. The woman, the great Harlot, Mystery Babylon, rides on top of these seven heads. Her authority in this world is not innate, but derived from those upon whom she relies upon for access to this world—the 7 heads. 5 kings have fallen from their place of prominence amongst humanity, they are no longer worshipped as gods.
EP142 Revelation 17 verse 6-8
John sees the Harlot drinking the blood of the saints, and he was fascinated, struck with wonder. The Angel rebukes John for his admiration of this woman of religious apostasy.
The Beast was. He once held a place of prominence amongst mankind and was worshipped as a god.
The Beast now is not. He was punished by Yahweh, exiled to the Abyss. He is no longer worshipped as the god Chemosh.
The Beast is now about to now come up out of the Abyss and now go to destruction. His release is imminent, and his doom is certain. This Beast, whose name is Destruction or Destroyer, will wreak destruction but he too is marked for destruction. The Vessels of Wrath who have been prepared for Destruction (for the Beast) and who have chosen Destruction, whose names are not written in the lamb’s book of life, will in the future be struck with wonder at the Beast when in the future he chooses to come.
EP141 Revelation 17 verse 5-6
Nimrod, that mighty hunter who ruled over humanity, had a wife named Semiramis who provides us not a type and human avatar of the woman who rides the Beast. She established the first religion supporting Nimrod’s rule and maintaining their collective power which centered on worshipping the hosts of heaven—powers of the universe. She became known as the Queen of Heaven and established the mother child cult and, with her son, Tamuz, the typology for a slain and resurrected messiah.
Semiramis religion spread from Babylon to many lands, including Israel, and Pergamum, and then to the Christian countries where she continues to spread. She is the mother of all harlots and the spirit of apostasy. She is drunk with the blood of the saints and her religious systems has no tolerance for true believers in Jesus. She persecutes and kills them.
EP140 Revelation 17 verse 5
On the forehead of the great harlot is a name caused to being written, "mystery, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH."
Her name speaks of her character, but it is a mystery, with layers of meaning, being rooted in the tale of ancient Babylon where the worship of men and the gods of the heavens was first introduced. It established a precedent where men became the bridge makers, the connection, or gate, between heaven and earth. Ba-bel, the tower to heaven built in the region of Babylon, means the “gate of God.”
This system, introduced by the Harlot, is still followed today where many ministers, priests and other religious leaders believe they are that bridge, and man must come through them to gain access to the heavenlies.
In contrast, Jesus claimed that He is the bridge, the gate, the ladder connecting heaven and earth, and the angels travel to and fro because of Him.
EP139 Revelation 17 verse 3-4
As the kingdom of the Beast arises to power and position, the defining attribute of its movement through the peoples and nations of this world is the rampant immorality of this harlot—her apostate religion. John sees the woman who is now sitting on a scarlet Beast with 7 heads and 10 horns. This is a warning about religious apostasy, a system which states that there is something we can do and must do to honor God other than believing.
Her clothing and adornments are meant to attract and seduce, giving off the semblance of Godliness. But her vestments are symbols of blood, sacrifice, power, wealth, and royalty.
In her hand is a cup full of her immoralities, abominations, all the stinky deeds done where-in-which a person exalts themselves by believing that they can be good for God and do something for God (their religious piety and the source of legalism).
EP138 Revelation 17 verse 3
The Codex uses the imagery of the King of Tyre to give us understanding of the Beast. Hhis kingdom there will be a blend of religion (specifically Christianity), politics, power, money, opulent wealth, abuse, corruption, and abject violence. All of these will be present consistent with the meaning of 666.
John is carried to the wilderness, the domain of demons, for an examination of this woman and the Beast. The Beast is scarlet, indicating he has spilled the blood of the saints. The seven heads of the Beast are inscribed with misappropriations of the names of Yahweh, as they have presented themselves to mankind as Yahweh substitutes. The Beast claims he is saving the world from the wrath of the Lamb and from the plagues brought about by the bondservants of Christ. Be warned of these blasphemies. Any system of worship that combines what God does for us (grace) with what we can do for God and for others (the work of our hands), has been inspired by this false Messiah who has misappropriated the name of Yahweh. EP137 Revelation 17 verses 1-2
The harlot of religious apostasy sits on the Beast holding in her hands a cup. Spirituality is the cup, and inside the cup is the corruption, deceit, damage, violence and so on, caused by a lust for wealth, power, and control over others.
Why a woman. Throughout the Codex, women, who represent the glory of mankind, are symbolized as having a level of spirituality that men simply do not. And for their part, men have always had a level of extreme vulnerability when it comes to women. As a harlot, this woman gives herself to all who will have her.
The Kings of the Earth are spiritual rulers over the territories of mankind who have permitted this woman to operate and function in the physical realms, resulting in the worship of so-called gods and the many forms of Jesus found throughout the earth (all 45,000 of them). They have drunk deeply of her cup of apostasy.
EP136 Revelation 16 verses 17-21
With the seventh angel pouring out his vial on the earth, the Lord is enough, it is finished. Plan-A is complete. A third great earthquake is released that causes great changes in the landscape of our world.
The great city of religious apostasy is torn in thirds. Likely each foundational pilar (religion, wealth, and institutional power) is shaken and torn down. And with that Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of His fierce wrath. God uses evil to judge evil. The ten horns of the Beast will make Babylon the Great desolate, naked, and will choose to eat her flesh and burn her up with fire. This spells the end of religion.
One-hundred-pound hailstones pulverize what’s left in the world, still people continue to curse God and refuse to relent of their pride, rebellion, and hatred. This is a stoning on those who blaspheme the name of Yahweh.
EP135 Revelation 16 verses 15-16
Jesus interrupts with a WARNING that applies to our day-in-and-day-out lives. I now choose to come like a thief. Blessed is the one who is now staying awake and is now keeping his clothes, so that he may not now walk about naked, and they may see his shame.
He now comes through the Word, people, angels preaching the eternal gospel, the marvel of creation, the work of the Spirit, dreams in the night, specific wounding He inflicts on a person (aka, the fire), and in many ways that we do not even know, He now chooses to come and take away all that stands in the way of His possessing our being. He wants us ready, clothed in His righteousness. If we are not ready for Him, we will be ashamed.
A secret message about Har-magedon (Armageddon), literally Mount Megiddo, which refers to Jerusalem – the gathering place for the demonic armies. They will not gather on a flat field 60 miles north of Jerusalem in the valley of Meggido, it will be at the Mount of Gathering/Gashing. The armies of the nations will come and surround Jerusalem.
EP134 Revelation 16 verse 13-14
The second beast is identified as the false prophet. He is false because he intentionally deceives with words and deeds to lead people to embrace a lie, and he is a prophet who brings forth messages from the other side, but he speaks as a dragon.
Three frog like spirits of demons, miracle workers, possess the dragon, the Beast, and the False Prophet, and they come out of their mouths and go to deceive the Spiritual Rulers of the world to convince them to come and join the battle against the Lamb of God. They are like frogs because they croak incessantly against Yahweh and in favor of the Beast.
The war of the great day of God, the Almighty is when these kings of the earth will be gathered against Jerusalem. God, in His burning jealousy, brings the war to them.
EP133 Revelation 16 verse 12-14
The sixth angel poured out his vial on the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was caused to be dried up, so that the way may be caused to be prepared for the kings from the east. The Kings of the East are spiritual forces, and the Euphrates marks the boundary of spiritual protection provided the land of Israel. The angels guarding this territory are called back to prepare for the invasion of Jerusalem, and the Spirit of God, imaged in the waters of the Euphrates, are dried, enabling the Kings of the Earth to cross over.
The second beast is identified as the False Prophet. Demons possess demons and they come out of the Dragon, the Beast, and the False Prophet and go out to gather the Kings of the whole world for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.
EP132 Revelation 16 verses 8-11
Vials 1-3 impacted things upon the earth, but with the 4th Vial the hand of God reaches out into the cosmos and creates a terrible increase in sun activity and intensity. Men become scorched with fire and fierce heat. Still, they blaspheme God and do not repent.
The 5th Vial is poured out on the throne of the Beast (which he inherited from Satan), and this throne was darkened by choice. Those in this kingdom gnawed their tongues because of their pain and sores and they do not repent of their deeds and continue to blaspheme God. “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from Yahweh.”
EP131 Revelation 16 verses 2-7
All those who refused God’s offer of mercy that flows by His grace, will be judged by the law. Each bowl of wrath is targeted at some segment of creation.
Bowl 1: Loathsome and malignant sores on those now having the mark of the Beast.
Bowl 2: The sea became blood, like that of a dead man, and every living soul in the sea died.
Bowl 3: The rivers and springs of water became blood.
The angel of the water proclaims that God is just in this judgment for they deserve to drink blood, for they poured out the blood of the holy ones and prophets. Tho it is all Plan-A, still those instruments of violence against God’s people will be judged.
The blood is a sacrifice, a cleansing of the earth providing protection for the Elect and the Righteous. The Angel of the Altar of Sacrifice agrees that God is righteous in His judgment.
EP130 Revelation 15 verses 5-8; 16:1
The Sanctuary of God is opened, and the angels come forth ready to pour out the seven vials filled with the wrath of God. Those of the earth are judged by the perfect law of God. Smoke from the Sanctuary fills the heavens, for without this covering all humanity would die from exposure to the radiance of Yahweh.
First there were seven Seals, then seven Trumpets, and now seven Vials. In Code, this indicates a perfect (3) completion (7). The earth will be used as the bronze altar of judgment. The sacrifice upon the altar is those who have not been marked by God for life. There will be those saved through the Great Tribulation, and they will be purified and cleansed by the fires of suffering and the blood of humanity.
With the command to pour, the spiritual invades the physical in a terrifying way that defies nature, logic, science, and the normal course of things. This is a spiritual judgment into the physical realms that brings forth God’s reckoning on both that which is spiritual and that which is physical.
EP129 Revelation 15 verses 2-4
Those who are victorious have been standing in the fire of mercy, willing to let God burn off from their lives anything that does not want Him to reign as their I AM. The judgment of believers is a now thing; it occurs in our lives. Those who stand and continue to be standing despite the flames will be those who are now overcoming. The fires of mercy are necessary. It is why we can be victorious over the Beast and how we abstain from falling into the apostasies of Cain, Balaam, and Korah.
Being salted with fire is kind, it is compassionate, it is measured, it is personal (it occurs before the throne of God), and it is loving. The fire is literally saving our lives. And since the “something like a sea” is still, without a single ripple, we can be sure, with 100% confidence, that the fire is safe. Sadly, too many Christians will run from the fire and refuse to let the fire complete its work. Those who understand will worship.
EP128 Revelation 15 verses 1-2
John sees 7 angels who are now having seven plagues, which literally means: “strike,” “wound,” “flatten out,” “to pound,” “to inflict,” or “smite.” These seven plagues are the last, there will be no more. In these seven plagues the wrath of God is caused to be finished. It is a time when God will avenge the murder of His servants and destroy those who destroy the earth.
The story line of wrath is paused, and John saw an image of people before the throne of God, in something like a sea of glass being mixed with fire. Those who are overcoming, who are now victorious over the Beast have been standing in the fire. The “sea” is completely still though there is fire.
This communicates that to protect His people from the Beast, from the time of wrath, and from the woman who rides the Beast (religion), they must undergo the fires of judgment and purification throughout their lives. This explains the hardship and suffering believers endure. It is oddly protective for they are being saved through the fire. These fires prove our faith and reveal the quality of our work, whether it was His work or our own.
EP127 Revelation 11-14 & the Feast of Trumpets
The events of Revelation 11-14 are paralleled in the famed Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashanah), and all that occurs with the blowing of the 7th or final Trumpet, leading up to the Days of Awe which occur before the Day of Atonement, the Day of Judgment. It’s a time acknowledging God’s Sovereignty, a time of Remembrance, where God remembers His people, and for the Shofar, or the blowing of the Tekiah ha-Gadol, the last or final trumpet.
This festival deals with three classes of people. Those who are Righteous and whose names are entered into the Book of Life. This is a picture of the Called and Chosen and Faithful who are raptured at the final trumpet. Then there is an Intermediate Class whose fate stands in the balance, subject to their repentance during the days of Awe. This would include those in the household of God who never choose to become little children. Those who do not repent will face judgment via the Wrath of God, symbolized in the Day of Atonement. And finally, there is the Wicked or Accursed whose names were never entered into the Book of Life. They will know the Lord’s wrath.
EP126 Revelation 14 verses 17-20
This second reaping gives us a very explicit picture of the last part of the tribulation, post redemption of God’s people. It is a harvest unto judgment and death for those who reject God and choose the Beast and willingly chose to worship demons and idols. The sacrifice to be laid upon the altar of the earth will be a sacrifice of mankind.
The earth is harvested, and humanity is thrown into the great winepress of Yahweh’s wrath, where they will be crushed. For those nations that come against Jerusalem, there will be blood, lots of blood, flowing as high as a horse’s bridle, extending for the distance of 200 miles. Two thirds of the people in the land of Israel will be cut off and die, and one-third will be left in the land, and they will be purified through the fire of Great Tribulation.
As a result, there will be those who will declare that Yahweh is their God and He will declare that they are His people.
EP125 Revelation 14 verse 14-16 P2
If one sticks to the Codex, the evidence related to the timing of the rapture is incontrovertible. In the key passages in the Codex, all the key indicators are in alignment with Revelation 14:14-16. Collectively they contain: The Lord, the Cloud, the Shout, the Angel, the Cry of the Angel, the last Trumpet (the seventh trumpet), the harvest, the gathering, the one sitting on the Cloud. They state that the dead will live, corpses will arise, those asleep will awake, God’s people will be rescued and they will hide away during indignation (a time of distress such has never before occurred or never again will), and the Lord is coming to punish the inhabitants of the earth.
The parallel passages also mention the war against the saints, the resurrection, the cloud, and their ascension into heaven. This is the mystery and the time of gathering.
There is also alignment with this harvest of God’s people and Rosh Hashanah, the Festival of Trumpets, and the judgment of the inhabitants of the earth and the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur). The rapture occurs at the blowing of the last (the Seventh) trumpet. This ushers in the second reaping and the time of the Lord’s great wrath: the Day of the Lord.
EP124 Revelation 14 verse 14-16 P1
This is the famed RAPTURE of the church, the pinnacle of HOPE for the Called and Chosen and Faithful of God. All the events are associated with the sounding of the 7th and last trumpet blast.
Jesus comes sitting on a white cloud, He is referred to as the son of man, and He is wearing a golden crown of victory. He has a sickle in His hand ready to collect His harvest. Another angel, an arch angel, comes out of the Sanctuary and is crying out with a loud voice giving the command for the son of man to thrust in His sickle and to reap. The hour has come, and the harvest is ripened to the point of being withered and dried up.
The false teaching of man, known as the “doctrine of imminence,” is setting people up for the great apostasy when what they have been taught about the pre-tribulation rapture does not come true.
EP 123 Revelation 14 verse 13 P2
Jesus commands us to come to Him for His burden is light. God desires our willingness to let Him be our I AM and in turn He promises rest. To the extent that we do not believe that Jesus is our I AM (in whatever areas of our life), we will not know, rest but spiritual death.
Rest speaks of the absence of striving – trusting that if ONLY GOD IS GOOD, then only He can do the good works of the Father in-and-through our lives; it is all up to Him. Rest speaks of having the core needs of our soul satisfied (safety, security, stability, being seen or known) so we do not have to strive for these things.
In contrast, the labor of legalism (trying to do “for” God), is never satisfied. But the dead and dying (those who have embraced the death of our own self-effort) will abide in His rest.
EP122 Revelation 14 verse 13 P1
A voice from heaven uttered a WARNING: Blessed the dead who are now dying in the Lord from now on so that they may in the future be caused to rest from their labors, for their deeds now follow with them.
This addresses the willingness of the people of God to now be dying in the Lord to all that rebels against Him, such that they might live in Him. This is the perseverance of the saints, to be willing to die to our sin so we do not die in our sin.
The goal is “rest” and to cease from our spiritual labors. That is done when we stop trying to be Yahweh over our own lives and we become willing to let God puts to death all the idolatry in our soul that wants to be like God, and we trust that He will do His works in His time through our lives. We need to take His yoke of control, let Him be the Adonai of our lives, and bear the weight of “believing” that He is good, safe, and will keep us secure.
EP121 Revelation 14 verses 9-12
The angel who announces the consequences of following the Beast. God’s wrath has been prepared in “full strength” and it is ready and waiting to be poured out on those who now receive the mark of the Beast. Once marked, a person’s fate is sealed. There is no turning back and no redemption or forgiveness available for this choice. This is the “unforgivable sin.”
The consequences are eternal. He will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. Their torment starts now. They NOW have no rest, those who NOW are worshipping the Beast and his image, and whoever NOW receives the mark of his name.
Refusing the mark is the endurance of the saints to avoid the slippery slope of apostasy.
EP120 Revelation 14 verse 8
And another angel, a second one, followed, now saying, "Fell, fell Babylon the great, she who has made all the nations drink of the wine of the “wrath” of her immorality.” This second angel announces the death of religious apostasy. Babylon is where the religious apostasy was birthed as men first began to worship the Elohim, the angelic hosts of heaven and where the first child was presented as the messiah.
Babylon the Great represents the demonic lie of religion, especially the Religion of Christianity which looks like the truth, incorporates aspects of the truth, calls on Jesus’ name, does great works in His name, casts out demons in His name, worships in His name, but simply does not know Him by His name.
The harlot of Babylon is the demonic spirit who has made all drink of the wine of her immorality, her religious apostasy. People have become drunk on her wine. The wine is powerful and people become addicted to it all the while thinking they are worshipping God.
EP119 Revelation 14 verses 6-7
We are commanded to worship the Creator and not the creation for we are to have no other God before Yahweh. God has been active in His creation and it is self-evident, giving us a reason to worship Him.
The Angel who offers mercy from idolatry commands us to let God cause us to fear Him, for His hour of judgment is at hand – the hour to decide what to do with Him. If we are willing, then our natural response will be to give God glory, and if we give Him glory for what He created, we will find that we will worship Him.
The “eternal good news” announces that each person, at a minimum, must decide if they will honor Him as the Creating one “who had been making the heaven and the earth and sea and springs of waters.”
EP118 Revelation 14 verses 4-5
The 144,000, the bondservants of Jesus Christ, have been purchased by God from the marketplace of humanity. Like the first fruit picked from a tree, they are the first to be plucked, picked or “offed” from the earth. They are a willing sacrifice, it is a choice they make. And in God’s structure, they have first place or first position as a dedicated offering to God.
There is no falsehood in their mouth, the Spirit abides in them so completely that they speak only the truth about God and not the myriad of lies and falsehoods that are spoken about Him.
They are now unblemished. They are chosen for sacrifice because they have made the choice to wash themselves white in the blood of the Lamb. They are not just people living in the End Times; it’s a picture of all who live in Christ.
EP117 Revelation 14 verses 1-4
The gathering of the 144,000 – those who now choose to be coming out of the great tribulation, the bondservants of Christ, those who are now overcoming, the two witnesses – those caused to have been purchased from the earth. The imagery of the Lamb is a message of sacrifice. The 144,000 must follow in His footsteps. They gather on Mount Zion, a symbol of hope, victory, safety, grace, mercy, acceptance, belonging, forgiveness, deliverance, perfection, and community.
Even now they have the name of the Lamb and the Father written on their foreheads—they NOW bear the name. They now sing a new song, never before sung. No one could be caused to learn the song except the 144,000. They clearly have dual existence: on earth and they have a place in the heavenly realms—what believers do is done before the Father.
The 144,000 are virgins (reserved exclusively for Jesus), they have not served or worshipped other gods. They have rejected the harlot and have not been caused to be defiled with other so called spiritual sources of enlightenment, especially the Religion of Christianity that is obsessed with the “work of our hands.”
EP116 Revelation 13 verse 18
Those with wisdom (who are now having ears to hear) are commanded to calculate the number of the Beast. The number is the number of a man (6) and it provides the identifying attributes of the kingdom of the Beast as it plays out in the physical realm of humanity. Combined, 666 equals perfect incompletion; it will never be enough, the Beast will never be enough.
The Calculation from the Codex examples of 666:
1) Religion and the religious traditions of men (the apostasy of Cain expressed in the lust of the flesh): 6
2) Great wealth garnished from the peddling of its religious traditions and from its authoritative rule through the religions of man (the apostasy of Balaam expressed in the lust of the eyes): 6.
3) Authority, rule, kingship, governmental power (the apostasy of Korah expressed in the boastful pride of life): 6
With his attachment to power, control, religion, and wealth, the Beast takes his authority (his seat) from within the household of God (the Sanctuary being the body of Christ) and uses the religion of Christianity (Mystery Babylon) to garnish for himself the worship of man.
EP115 Revelation 13 verses 16-18
The second beast is not yet “causing” people to worship the Beast, but he is “now causing” them to be marked with his name or the number of his name – 666. It is a spiritual mark indicating commitment, devotion, and ownership. Without prejudice, the second beast now causes the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free and the bondslaves, to be given their mark on their right hand or on their forehead. The forehead symbolizing spiritual devotion and the right hand symbolizing radical cultic commitment of one’s strength and purpose.
Possessing the mark is a pre-condition to success in the market and religious economies of the world; though people seem to be unaware of this exchange they have made, their success for their soul. They are now marked either with his name (the Destroyer or Destruction) or the number of his name: 666. It takes wisdom to calculate the number of the Beast.
Six is the number of man, and it is not seven, the number representing completion. It is always falls short. Used three times, with three being the number representing perfection, this indicates that those who now take the mark will never find what they are looking for, as the number indicates perfect incompletion. They will always be seeking and never finding.
EP114 Revelation 13 verses 14-15 P3
The second beast has been responsible for an image of the Beast being created and standing where it ought not to be, in and amongst the holy ones of God. As a false Christ, the words which the image speaks compromise the grace of God by introducing some element of legalism and the “works of our hands” – which is demonic idolatry. These perversions are even found in how we judge ourselves for our sin as well as those who have disappointed us with their sin.
If you have eyes to see, you are commanded to flee to the “mountains” of truth and stability.
God will use the Beast and its image as a threshing instrument to separate to Himself those who stand only on the goodness of God and who let God live in-and-through their lives from those who are trying very hard to be good for God and who are living for God.
EP113 Revelation 13 verses 14-15 P2
“The” famed Abomination of Desolation is not something for which we are waiting. The image of the Beast is standing and positioned in the unseen realm – in the holy place of the Chosen people of God now displaying himself as being God. The enemies greatest works of deception come from within. He has convinced everyone that their view of God is the right God. He speaks perversions of grace adding some element of works, some element of law, to our faith and in effect declares that Jesus did not come in the flesh. The implication is that there is more for us to do than to now just be believing. This is the perversion of grace marketed by the image. And it all comes from within the Sanctuary, from amidst the people of God.
EP112 Revelation 13 verses 14-15 P1
The image of the beast is given breath by the second beast, such that the image may speak and some may hear his words and many will follow his words, but some will hear and run from the image. The second beast may cause as many as may not worship the image of the beast that they may be caused to be killed.”
The image is likely the famed “the” abomination of desolation which Jesus said is now standing where it ought not to be, in the midst of Christianity (the Sanctuary of God). There have been types of this image from the golden statute of Nebuchadnezzar, the statute of Zeus set up by Antiochus Epiphanes, the statute of Jupiter and the magi Simon, as well as the statute of Jupiter now disguise as Saint Peter.
But “the” abomination of desolation is a spiritual image that has been standing and is positioned in the midst of Christianity, and it has been speaking and many have been listening to and worshipping this False Messiah. Those who may see it are to flee and run to the mountains of truth for safety.
EP111 Revelation 13 verses 12-13
This second beast is even now doing all manner of unbelievable things. He now exercises all the authority of the Beast over the demonic infrastructure that will support the Beast. He is all about force, compulsion, threat, and terror – as he makes or causes those in the future to worship the Beast.
The Beast bears the scars of his punishment, the scars that have been caused to be healed, and he appears to all, in messianic fashion, to have risen from the dead. The demonic world believes that he is the promised messiah; he will save them from the wrath of the Lamb. Those of the earth will worship him because of the scars.
The second beast also performs great signs, even now bringing fire from heaven to earth, and deceives those on the earth and keeps them worshipping demons instead of God. All of this is performed in the heart of Christianity.
EP110 Revealtion 13 verses 9-11
The Spirit commands, “He that now has an ear, they are commanded to hear.” If we take others emotionally captive to punish, retaliate, or hurt them and kill those who threaten our lives, then we will be taken captive, and by the means we kill we will be killed. We are not to take matters into our own hands but TRUST Jesus with our lives. This is the believer’s perseverance in faith.
The second beast, the False Prophet, is like a lamb and a dragon, he looks innocent but is intent to deceive, slander, oppose, attack, conquer, and control. This second beast is NOT man, but a spirit that runs through the institutions of mankind: governments, corporations, media, religious and educational institutions, the market economies of the world, and so on. He is connected to religious deception (goodness, tolerance, inclusiveness) and economic platforms – one must play his game to succeed in the world. His message is anti, against all that is Yahweh. He speaks words of conflict, contempt, and division, seemingly based on love and acceptance.
EP109 Revelation 13 verses 7-8
The Beast wages war and overcomes the holy ones, but it all happens according to the plan, foreknowledge, and predetermined strategy of Yahweh Adonai (Plan-A).
The Beast will physically overcome the holy ones sealing them in the truth that they are the ones who are now overcoming, now and forever having the victory. The Beast will usher them into the arms of Jesus and into their eternal reward (those promises) that go on and on and on and on and on
The Beast is also given “authority” over every tribe and people and tongue and nation. He did not earn it, deserve it, or take it; it was given to him. Just like it was all given to the dragon.
All those who are now choosing to make their permanent abode on the earth, shall, in the future, worship the Beast—those whose name has not been caused to be written in the book of life of the Lamb. The fate of a specific group, the Vessels of Wrath, had been sealed by God because they chose to prepare themselves and give themselves to the Beast.
EP108 Revelation 13 verses 3-6
The Beast once held a role as one of the seven heads of the dragon – this spirit was part of Satan’s leadership council. He manifested himself to humanity as the God Chemosh. But this spirit crossed a line and he was punished by God and exiled to the Abyss. His punishment is described as something like a butchering, as having incurred a deadly wound.
This this fatal wound was caused to be healed and now he bears the scars of having been slain. The Spirit mentions the scars 4x in Revelation.
The demonic kingdom was shocked when the Beast reappeared (when he was released from the Abyss in Revelation 9). They make a Messianic declaration: he was, was not, and now is to come; and they worshiped the Beast and the dragon. And because the Beast was supercharged with the dragons power, throne, and great authority, they claim that no spirit can wage war against him and usurp his position.
There was caused to be given to him a mouth now speaking arrogant words and blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, them who are now dwelling in heaven. This is the only indication in heaven that this Beast possesses a man to gain access to a mouth to blaspheme God and the people of God.
EP107 Revelation 13 verse 2 P2
The 4th Beast is a picture of the kingdom of the Beast, a confederacy of spiritual rulers (heads) who rule over other spiritual rulers (horns) as well as their earthly counterparts such that it all plays out in the realms of humanity—in the world. This confederacy is characterized as follows stealth, opportunistic, cunning, blood thirsty, cruel, stable, weight bearing, fighting advantage, loud, boastful, biting and tearing its victims after strangulating them of life.
From this beast will arise a little horn, a spiritual king who is great in stature, in fact he is greater in power and glory than the other kings. This spirit will possess a man, and from this “diminished place,” he will attack and defend his kingdom. With eyes of a man and a mouth uttering great boasts, he will speak against the Most High and afflict the holy ones of the Highest One.
EP106 Revelation 13 verse 2 P1
The Spirit show shows us the Kingdom of the Beast through animal imagery (the leopard, bear, and lion). This describes the base nature of the Beast and his kingdom, and it gives us a glimpse of how this kingdom and this demon will move about in the realm of humanity. This image combines different elements from each animal to create a horrifying monstrous creature with remarkable capabilities.
The prophet Daniel saw this Beast and was terrified by it. He said it was exceedingly dreadful having teeth of iron (an unbreakable bite) and claws of bronze (claws of judgment), which devoured, crushed, and trampled down the remainder with its feet. This kingdom, it is said, will devour the whole earth, tread it down, and crush it.
Why animals? The gentile nations were given over at Babel to be ruled by the Spirit Princes known as Elohim, or “Gods” – demonic spirit. In the Codex, these nations tend to be imaged according to the animalesque nature of the demonic spirits that rule or control them, the spirits that give each nation its unique spiritual identity.
EP105 Revelation 13 verses 1-2
Satan is sidelined and gives the Beast his power, throne, and great authority. The kingdom of the Beast, the Beast himself (the Destroyer), or the man, who is the human imager representing the Destroyer and the kingdom (the one we call the Antichrist), are all simply called, “the Beast.”
The Beast is now having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns ten diadems, and on his heads blasphemous names.
When the Beast rises to the world stage, the Beast is going to move first with the might of his 10 horns (the might to attack and defend). These 10 horns are 10 kings that will arise—10 demonic rulers who have one purpose, and that is to give their power and authority to the Beast. We should expect to see a coalition of ten kingdoms, countries, or states from which the kingdom of the Beast rises to power and assumes control on this earth.
The seven heads represent the same seven-demonic Spirit Princes (sovereigns) which are now under the rule of the dragon. These seven demonic Spirit Princes comprise the dragon’s inner circle of royal authority that rules over nations and kingdoms, or groups of nations.
The “blasphemous names” refer to the misuse or the prostitution of God’s name—Yahweh. The Beast will claim that he is the Savior, saving the world from the wrath of the Lamb and from the plagues. He will take the names that belong to Yahweh, and appropriate them for himself.
EP104 Revelation 12 verse 17; Revelation 13 Introduction
The dragon turns his intensified wrath to the offspring of the woman, to the Called and Chosen and Faithful (those now keeping the commandments of God), have finished their 1,260 days of testimony, and, the dragon, through the Beast, will declare war against them, conquer them, and kill them (overlaps with Revelation 11). And the dragon was caused to stand on the shore of the sea of humanity watching the Beast rise to power.
The major events of Revelation 11 and 12 address events let loose by the blowing of the 7th trumpet and initiates the time of the wrath of the Lamb which will begin with the pouring out of the 7-bowls of wrath. Many of these events fall within the with the 3.5 months (105 days) period that bridges the two halves of the tribulation (30 days in the first and 75 days in the second.)
Revelation 13 provides a key transition point, where the focus changes and the Spirit brings us into a depth of understanding of the ways and the activity of the Beast and the False Prophet, who throughout the chapter is called the “second beast.” We will address such things as the image of the Beast and the famed number of his name: 666.
EP103 Revelation 12 verses 14-16
God has prepared a place in the wilderness for the “woman” (Israel) to fly for safety from the attack of the serpent. One third, the Elect (the Righteous from among the Jews) will be protected. In this place, the Elect will be nourished and protected for 3.5 years (the second half of the tribulation).
Imagery of both the dragon and serpent are used. The snake symbolizes lies, deception, and manipulation, whereas the dragon symbolizes power, strength, imposing intimidation, violence, fierceness, ferocity, and evil intent.
While the snake lies and collects its followers, the dragon mobilizes the nations for violence against the woman and brings them like a flood. And, though he uses seduction and deceit to manipulate those he turns against the woman, it is the dragon’s hated that will fuel the fires of aggression and brutality against the woman. But the woman will be rescued from this attack, as certain nations will come to her aid and absorb this assault.
EP102 Revelation 12 verses 12-14
With the third WOE, we see the strongest of warnings about the devil and what will ensue when he is expelled from heaven and caused to be thrown down, with his armies, to the earth, for the devil is consumed by wrath and he knows he only has a short time. This is a WARNING for all of humanity—all those who have chosen to make their abode in this world.
The devil will be slinging slander and accusation around causing people to self-destruct through division. The division and relational chaos are likely to be unparalleled.
He focuses first on the woman Israel and persecutes her. The dragon’s animosity for the woman is evident in all the ways the Jew has been persecuted throughout time. But all of this being Yahweh’s plan, Yahweh Adonai has also declared that one-third of the populus will be protected and saved.
Those one-third will escape on the 2 wings of the great eagle, which just might be a reference to the United States and the military and political wings of the USA.
EP101 Revelation 12 verses 10-12
Now has chosen to come the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ.” Finally, the principal owner of the estate is now moving to take back from his agents the rights He had granted to them. God granted leasehold rights, as a landlord, to the Accuser.
All of Satan’s power and dominion has come from Yahweh, as Christ is the head over all rule and authority. Lucifer has no natural authority, only authority that has been granted and allowed. And now his agency contract, so-to-speak, is revoked.
The Accuser is just a tool. Though he makes accusation against the bondservants of Jesus, day and night, God uses use the enemy as a tool to provide His people another opportunity to learn WHY they can trust themselves to Yahweh and HOW to trust themselves to Yahweh. And they overcame the devil by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love [agape] their self, unto their death.
Then comes the third WOE – what will ensue when the devil and his armies are expelled from heaven and caused to be thrown down to the earth—for he is filled with great wrath.
EP100 Revelation 12 verse 9
Our adversary is the dragon, the Leviathan, the serpent of old, the twisted serpent, the devil, and Satan
Animal imagery is intended to give us insight into the base nature of the person or spiritual being. Thus, the Shining One (Lucifer) is not a shape shifter showing up as a dragon one day and a serpent the next. These images speak to various aspects of his nature, that which is akin to a dragon and to that of a serpent. It describes how he operates, how he thinks, and how he functions with others.
The dragon is mighty, powerful, fierce, full of strength, fearless, the king over all the sons of pride, one whose heart is as hard as stone, and unassailable. The image of this dragon is intended to intimidate and cause fear. Whereas the serpent represents a nature of deception, wit, seduction, and wordplay; hence, the serpent is the shrewdest of all the creatures.
Lucifer is also referred to as the Leviathan—a creature that was formed to sport in the sea of humanity. Simply for sport, he causes chaos, distress, terror, and destruction in the realms of humanity.
The devil is a slanderer—the world champion of deceit—and Satan is the opposer.
EP99 Revelation 12 verses 8-9
As a result of a great war, Satan and his angels are cast out of the heavenly realms, relegated to earth. No longing having access to what God is doing from the heavenlies, they are constrained by time and dimensional space.
This war which results in Satan being cast out of the heavens to the earth, occurs before the actual blowing of the 7th trumpet (before the rapture), but within the same 3.5-month period that overlaps the two 3.5-year periods of the tribulation.
For now, the dragon is the deceiver, causing the whole world to roam astray. This deceiver’s work is to provide not so much anti-faith, but a substitute faith: an acceptable way-and-means to trust anything and anyone other than Yahweh. He perverts grace and leads us into idolatry, evidenced in the “work of our hands.”
EP98 Revelation 12 verses 5-8
The child, the Messiah, was raptured to God and His throne as He waits for the time when He will rule the nations with a rod of iron. Afterwards, the woman (Israel) fled to the nations where she has been protected for two thousand plus years. Now she has come out of the nations, and she has miraculously returned to her land.
There is a war in heaven, started by Michael and his angels, to expel the dragon and his angels from heaven. This is a war of brothers, a war based on betrayal.
Satan and his angels have been operating from the heavens; they even attend Yahweh’s great Assembly meetings. This is where both good angels and bad angels meet, and the plans for humanity are first declared and then assignments are handed out by Yahweh for the angels to act upon. But after this war, there was no longer a place found for the devil and his angels.
EP97 Revelation 12 verses 3-4
The dragon now has ten horns distributed across its seven heads. The number “ten” is associated with the divine order of human affairs. There are ten spiritual rulers of might connected to ten kingdoms in the realm of humanity, which the dragon utilizes to enforce his will upon mankind, through the use, or threat, of power and might. The seven heads are “kings” in the spiritual realm, the leadership council from which the dragon exercises his rule.
The dragon now sweeps away a third of the stars (the angels) with his tail of prophetic lies and thew them to the earth. A “third” is a signifying mark of Yahweh, indicating it was Yahweh’s plan for the dragon to cause one third of the angels to fall.
The dragon, working through human agency tried to kill the child, the Messiah, when he was first born.
EP96 Revelation 12 verses 2-3
The child is none other than Jesus, Yahweh Yasha, the Messiah, because it says that the child of this woman is the one who is destined to rule all the nations with a rod of iron. When Jesus returns at His Second Coming, the Father has declared that He will rule all nations with a rod of iron.
Also, this child was caught up to God and to his throne, which is what happened to Jesus. Jesus ascended and has now seated Him at the Father’s right hand in the heavenly places.
Israel did not recognize His first coming, so in effect they are still travailing as a pregnant woman, in pain, waiting for the delivery of their coming Messiah; and it will be a painful journey.
God caused another sign or picture to be seen in heaven, a great red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven diadems on his heads. Satan, imaged as this dragon, has been an impossible foe to conquer, for no man or weapon of man can prevail over this Leviathan, for there is nothing in our earthly realm that is like him. At least one of these heads, in the past has been crushed.
EP95 Revelation 12 verse 1
Revelation 12 chapter is focused on the devil, the dragon, Satan, and his contempt for Jesus and for all those who follow Him. It reveals his hatred for the people of the nation that produced the Messiah.
The Spirit uses the imagery of a woman clothed in astrological images because woman represent the glory of mankind, the very soul that is connected to that which is spiritual. Symbolized in Eve, the woman chose to be clothed in spirituality, as such the woman continues to be the window to the spiritual realm of the knowledge of good and evil.
The woman clothed herself with the sun, which is a reference to Jacob whose name was changed to Israel (which means God Prevails) when he let God prevail over his stubborn heart.
The Moon under the woman’s feet is a reference to Rachel, Jacob’s wife, and Aramean, and captures all the gods of religious apostasy, such as Baal and Astarte. The moon has no natural light and no natural warmth because only reflects the light of the sun. These gods are posers and possess no natural light, power, or authority other than what has been given to them, thus, they will always be under the woman’s feet.
