Aged 12 Harry is competing across the UK at weekends while playing for local teams during the week. Hitting over 300 180's last year Harry is on course to make a real impact on the game.

The podcast welcomes a new football guest as Paul Padfield joins Stu to talk about his life long passion for Arsenal FC. Holding a season ticket for as long as he can remember he has seen the good and bad times.
Paul offers some wonderful insight into football and there is some cricket chat at the end of the episode.

Nick has predominantly worked in areas of Canada where snow covers the course in Winter so alternative employment is needed. For the last few winters this has involved managing the local curling club ice.
In this episode the guys discuss the challenges of "waking" up the course and "closing down" along with those winters and Nicks other passion, Darts!!

Andy joins Stu to discuss his move from Deputy Course manager to his current role with Agrovista Amenity.
Some would jokingly say Andy has joined the dark side but for me and many others his role is vital within the industry and provides the massively important link between green keepers and the companies producing the new products to benefit us and our members.
Solid relationships are key in all aspects of work and life. The relationship i have with Andy has led to us being able to do this podcast and i thank him for coming on as a guest.

Meet Duncan Cheslett. A late starter to the turf industry. Having worked for himself for many years as a furniture maker Duncan needed a change as the impact of Covid hurt many self employed people. As keen golfer Duncan had a meeting at his local club assuming he would be interviewing for a desk based role and all of a sudden he was a green keeper.
In this episode we hear about Duncan's journey in the industry so far and Stu all discusses some of the current industry "hot" topics.
Duncan has always been very outspoken within some social media groups and proves to be a wonderful guest,

HWOM with Chris Thomson. Treading a new path.
Stu is joined by Chris Thomson to talk about his life and how he has battled anxiety along the way. A promising rugby talent that took him to study at Loughborough university, it was here that Chris first had to deal with not always being selected to play the sport he had grown up loving and excelling at. What he now knows to be anxiety manifested in different ways and Chris discusses this with Stu.
Finishing university and entering the working world Chris again excelled but his life suffered a huge loss when a good friend living in Sydney took his own life.
Chris admits to struggling to come to terms with the loss of Hamish and after thinking long and hard quit his busy city life and job in sales to hopefully become and full time adventurer and endurance athlete. Chris has undertook and completed 32 back to back ultra marathons in all 32 Scottish councils and in recent weeks casually cycled 600 km to meet up with friends!!!
