Love in the Pieces (Part 1)

It's that time of the month... The month of February to be specific. With all the couples and cuddles and cuffing going around, it makes me more anxious than ever about my chances of getting on the Emmy Award-winning reality show, Love on the Spectrum. Christopher and John also applied to be on the show, so I decided to chat with them just to meet other autistics looking for love, and whether our enamored endeavors are endearing enough for the LOTS production team.

SOSO Season 2 Trailer

Wedding planning can be exciting, nerve-wracking, and stressful all at once, but add a worldwide pandemic on top of all that? Politics: A Parent Review

Over this Fourth Of July weekend with the upcoming Presidential Election in November, my parents reflect on politics over pizza. Discussing the flag, Jesus, past mistakes, "good" people, and a kid falling into a lake, take a break from the usual shouting matches of news anchors... For a moment.

Body Positivity

While unrelated to current events yet somewhat related to the weather, body positivity's seeming to look like a bigger struggle. With the country starting to open back up and temperatures starting to heat up, the layers we all used to bundle up are starting to shed. I talk with UK fashion blogger Eva Grist on improving your body image and staying body positive in this year's emerging bikini season.

When To Unfriend

When To Unfriend

With a lot of people surging to social media (especially for the past few months), many have taken a good hard look at their relationships, specifically, friendships. You can unfriend online, but how do you just unfriend someone in real life? I Interview two people, Maddie and Aisha, who I met a few years ago to get down to the bottom of this perilous predicament.

Podcasting

Many schools have closed down across the country due to the coronavirus, and just yesterday Ohio's Governor Mike DeWine has announced that all Ohio schools will have a three-week spring break until April 3rd when he hopes public health officials will get this COVID-19 matter settled. A few weeks prior to this mandate, my peers and I had to give informative speeches for a public speaking unit in our executive functions/life skills class (aka TASK). Since I just started out podcasting this January, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share my current knowledge and experience about the topic with the people I see five days a week; I have bittersweet relations with all of them, but hopefully, they'll find this episode interesting because everything else interesting is under lockdown...
