The Super Sub AFL Podcast

This week the boys reflect on another busy week of footy news and results, sprinkled in with some of cams thoughts on the start of the nba playoffs. So sit down grab a cold one or 10 and enjoy some more consistently inconsistent opinions from the boys.

With Lewis turning 21 the boys celebrate the only way they know how, talk rubbish about footy for an hour + one of the greatest editions of Green Vest, Red Vest yet. Grab a beer and celebrate your favourite hosts birthday with a ripping edition of the pod.

This week all segments go out the window. Cameron’s up and about after north’s first win in almost 2 months, Vinny revs up Lewis after West Coast’s demolition of the pies and the guys grade each team’s performance for the first half of the season and give their end of season predictions.

Uni’s back and the big 3 cannot be more excited. In this weeks instalment, they wrap up their team’s performance from last round and discuss all footy related news from this covid affected week. The regular segments and the brand new top tier here to stay ‘Cameron’s Arrow’ segment all feature in this weeks episode. As well as footy, the boys take a step back and branch out to discuss other sports as well as university. This week the guys give the latest updates from the footy world amidst the Corona Virus pandemic. Once again, this week brought huge news surrounding more footy controversy ranging from potential AFL bias to possible start times for 2020 Season. Additionally, the guys pick a player past or present that they believe deserves a statue, as well as giving their thoughts on the AFLW Best and Fairest. The boys are back after a week of being flattened by assignments to deliver an ANZAC day special where we visit this week’s news as usual, then dive into looking at the best ANZAC games with an ANZAC themed guess that commentary. A busy week in news featuring the newest episode of RBT, hubs and what people are saying about them. The AFL gamers network is starting up and the boys love it as Lewis tries to explain what twitch is like its new technology. Listen in as the boys deliver their first class hot takes looking at everything from the most esteemed AFL opinions to what Nintendo characters would be the best at AFL.

The boys are back with another action pack episode of The Super Sub. We jump straight into the news looking at Daniel Gorringe's new found career path, Mich Malthouse's bad calls and another array of weird and wacky corona virus content. We then take a deep dive in some of the brownlows suprise/unexpected winners with some contentious calls from all three of the boys. We jump into another segment of Guess that Commentary followed by our favourite players that we feel deserved a Brownlow, finishing off with our green and red vets for the week. The boys gather their wits and finally set about achieving their dream of being in the spotlight of footy talk. We jump into our debut on the mics with a quick ‘players in isolation’ update discussing everything from Kane Cornes to Nat Fyfe. We then take a way to close look into one of the bigger footy debates, ranking the best Premiership teams since 2000. Should we have done a ranking from 20-1, probably not but don’t let it falter as this is one topic not to miss as the three hosts fight for their opinion on their rankings.
