From small town to Oscar - Aditya Om on Talk to Unlock

The first episode of Talk to Unlock features Aditya Om - A star actor, director, a social worker, a very humble man.. some of the words we will use to describe him. He has worked in over 30 Telugu, Hindi and English movies and apart from big budget movies, he made some very impactful thought provoking award winning movies like Massaab and Bandi. He is actively involved in charity and social works. In this episode, your host - Ishita Bisht, talked to the star about his thoughts, feelings and mentality. He shared the way his passion for acting took him from a town in Uttar Pradesh and made him a star in Telugu cinema world. He talked about who he look up to and about being a multi-talented guy. He spoke about his educational reforms organisation called "Edulightment" , what it is to adopt a village and the amount of talent that tribal village has. He narrated an interesting story during the shooting of his international award winning movie - Massaab. Demonetisation happened just two days after he and his crew reached Bundelkhand for the shooting. This particular story is really inspiring for all the problem solvers to find a way. He explained about the love he got from the people of small villages whenever he shooted his movies there. We asked him about his favourite travel destination and the places he travelled. He told about a lot of places in Uttarakhand where he travelled. This particular chat is going to give a lot of travel inspiration. He talked about his upcoming movie on Corona Virus, Signs. This film is shot entirely on an iPhone. The movie talks about how humans choose to ignore nature's warning signs before the onset of a calamity. Aditya Om gave some brilliant insights on important of physical fitness and how being physically fit helps in various aspects including mental fitness. He told us about how people were mentally locked down much before the physical lock-down happened. In one of his critically acclaimed movie, Bandook, the then central minister Sh. Kabil Sibal penned a song. He told the story behind it. We asked for some of the Bollywood and Hollywood movies that stayed with him for his life.   He gave his precious advice to every young person out there looking to build a career in the world of Cinema.
