#TalkWithTodah: On birthday and its intrigues with Richard Momoh

In this episode, I caught up with a good friend in an absorbing conversation. And interestingly, he happened to be my birthday mate. Which made this particularly exciting.

We had a cool and intriguing talk around being grateful, his pressures in life, focusing on his journey, what he likes, what he thinks as a matter of serious interest, and what he feels about certain things. You will surely find his story is deeply inspiring.

It's also a summary of how my week has been so far; spending my birthday working, the outpour of love from my well-wishers, overwhelming messages of warm felicities, and the lovely calls.

Have a dive in, and relish your listening pleasure.

Going Forward: We demand justice!

Going Forward: We demand justice!

Sadly, Nigeria is burning to the ground under its government. Killing her people fighting for their rights and demanding social justice. And worse still, they've not been silenced and will never be silenced.

Going forward, we will continue to speak up against oppression and demand justice no matter how long it takes!

May the souls of our fallen heroes, that we have lost of this brutality and the #EndSARS protests, rest in peace.

Enjoy this week's episode of TWT in deep and sober reflection.

#TalkWithTodah | Meteoric Rise of Adelle Onyango to Podcasting

In case you know, Adelle Onyango is indeed a fierce woman — driving conversations, I mean meaningful and impactful conversations about Africa and its people, about their raw yet unique human journey from diverse perspectives. After working as a radio presenter for over a decade at Kiss FM, a reputable Kenyan radio station, she now sets out to foray into a more self-fulfiling career in podcasting. Her path to stardom as an award-winning media personality has never been more awe-inspiring. She started the weekly podcast series, Legally Clueless where she's currently documenting 100 African Stories that will inspire you.

Even more, Adelle was listed among BBC100 Women ’17, a Facebook icon of change ’19, OkayAfrica's Top Women of '18, and also, among 100 influential Africans ’19. She also founded an initiative geared towards educating the public on issues facing vulnerable and minority populations, specifically women and youths, and also creating solutions-oriented content for them.

Yes, on our talk show, we caught up with and hosted the quintessential amazon whose story already reads like a lofty wish. So, in this episode, she shared some unique parts of her life, her career journey, and also how she got her podcast to be syndicated on Trace FM (Kenya), a global radio station. Her podcast is the first syndicated podcast in Eastern Africa on radio — already with plans to also be syndicated on Trace FM (Ghana).

Two words of inspiration from our richly insightful conversation was ”Keep doing!” And if this is not amazing and awesome, then I wonder what is. Have a vicarious listening pleasure ahead, and I hope this motivates you to keep pursuing your dream, no matter what it is.

Matters Arising; Killings in Southern Kaduna and blasphemy in Kano

Matters Arising; Killings in Southern Kaduna and blasphemy in Kano

Here is a critical sneak peek into what they call 'communal clashes.' It is a fundamental Nigerian problem. And more than ever, we need to put an end to menace with an effective and long-lasting solution. It has since, eaten deep into the fabric of our society and weaved with the threads of ethic and religious bigotry.

Thank you for listening, have any untold stories?

The Doubter: Living in one of the most religious country

An amazing conversation with a humanist that goes by the sobriquet ”Angry Atheist”. In this episode, It wasn't a fight about if your supreme being exists; that was left to your doubts! It was about being a free thinker, breaking free from domesticated religious beliefs, and how to be fully human. This is aimed to bring you out of the stifling insularity of your existence.
