Introducing Mental Health Services in a Hunger Relief Setting
Hear a free discussion hosted by AZZLY on a model for helping people in your community by providing mental health and social services in a food bank or pantry setting. When we wrote our white paper on the connection between food insecurity and mental health in the United States, we found that in many food insecure counties, there was also a lack of mental health resources. That’s why organizations like Nourishing Hope inspire us by providing mental health and social services to their food pantry clients in the Chicago area. Revisit this discussion to learn Nourishing Hope’s strategy for this model from Jennie Hull, Chief Program Officer, and Csilla Megyeri, Director of Social Services. You’ll also hear from Sarah Bigbee, Clinical Dietitian, and Carol Gorbett, Behavioral Health Credentialing Specialist, in the panel for this exciting discussion!

Behavioral Healthcare Credentialing Done Right
What is Credentialing and why is it so important? As a single word it has emerged to define an important process! The act of credentialing verifies your staff’s ability to legally provide the service offered to a patient (based on Federal and State mandates) and contractually meet the defined requirements of your payers. There can be no shortcuts in credentialing, but the process often seems like a labyrinth.
