Game week has finally arrived, week 0 is here. The Huskers kickoff the 2022 College Football season with a trip across the pond to play divisional foe Northwestern.

Coaching Staff Shakeup
Trev Alberts came out with the statement of Scott Frost would be returning for year 5 with a restructured contract. With Frost coming back we knew staff changes needed to be made.....They were. Tayler and Zac discuss the latest Husker coaching staff shakeup.
Turning Point?
Nebraska took Northwestern behind the woodshed for an old fashioned ass whooping, a 56-7 blowout racking up 657 total yards. Jaquez Yant finally got his first action of season with 13 carries for 127yards. At the half way point in the season Nebraska finds its self at 3-3 with a undefeated top 10 Michigan team coming to town. Was this Northwestern game a turning point in the season and potentially the Scott Frost tenure? GBR
Michigan State Recap
Mel Tucker and the "Flea Flicker" got the Huskers again, as Nebraska falls to Michigan State in overtime 23-20. It was the same old song and dance for the Huskers, with the defense playing lights out, and special teams and o-line being an absolute embarrassment. Nebraska found a way yet again to rip defeat from the jaws of victory late. GBR
Oklahoma Recap
The Huskers fall to 2-2 on the season, after losing on the road at #3 Oklahoma. Adrian Martinez and the defense continue to play at a high level, but once again the kicking game rears its ugly head with 2 missed FG's and blocked XP returned for 2pts. Nebraska restarts conference play this weekend with a tough road game at #20 Michigan St. GBR
