California Proposition 16

California Proposition 16

Proposition 16 in the upcoming November election has the opportunity to repeal California's Proposition 209 and return Affirmative Action Policies to our Universities, Colleges, and other State Institutions. Many African-American Alumni like myself have been devastated to realize very few students who look like us over the past 20 years had have the opportunity to follow our footsteps. This is a very

Coke or Pepsi

This Presidential Election in November MUST be the last time we blindly identify ourselves as Democrats or Republicans. Listen to Joe Biden's 1994 Crime Bill Speech and I promise you'd swear Donald Trump wrote it! In Biden's speech he proudly articulates how he has stood since 1976 and basically expresses disgust at the idea that he would be considered less than "Law and Order" as any arrogant, in your face, snobbish Republican. I am letting you know I am absolutely "Purplish-Blue" right now. Take a listen and let me know what you think. Teach Tha Babies!

What do you know about the Summer of 1919? Google the term "Red Summer" and learn about all the atrocities committed against African-Americans all across America. In a time when Statues, and Monuments of White Supremists are being challenged it is important that we learn the correct version of our History here in America. Teach Tha Babies

It's time to have a real discussion in the Black Community about what we are looking for in response to Police Brutality and these Wrongful Death situations.  This is not the time for us to get tired and we got to get on the same page!  Teach Tha Babies!

We All Need CCW Permits

We All Need CCW Permits

This episode talks about the importance of Black People obtaining their Carry Concealed Weapons Permits and outlines the four requirements that must be met in order to be issued this coveted permit. I believe that all law abiding citizens should AT LEAST ATTEMPT to exercise all of our Constitutional Rights instead of just figuring that we can't. I am by no means suggesting that you need to trade your day job and become a Revolutionist however their are some small steps WE CAN ALL take to get to the place of love, peace, and hairgrease! Properly Protesting Police Brutality

Properly Protesting Police Brutality

I watched Sean Reed's livestream of his murder by the Indianapolis Police Department and I thought where have i seen this before!!!! It's time for the Black Community to stop standing by and watching this overly aggressive, overtly prejudiced, and sometimes fatal form of policing.   We need to take arms and demand change! It starts with responsible people demanding responsible policing.  As the old adage says "Respect isn't given it is earned!"

Farming While Black

In the last 100 years Black Farmers have "lost" over 12 Million Acres of Farmland in America. From Slavery and Sharecropping to the present day this episode discusses the Federal Government's role in this tragic reality.  There are too many layers to this subject to address in one episode but we need to support those Black Farmers who are fighting to retain their Farms.  Teach Tha Babies

There Goes The Neighborhood!

There Goes The Neighborhood!

This episode discusses how the Federal Government created Segregated Housing in response to both the Great Depression in the 1930’s and after World War II in the 1940’s. It is important to examine these topics and Teach Tha Babies that nothing happens by accident in America. There is a reason that “Old Money” looks the way it does. We must learn from the past to be better prepared for the future.
