Episode 35 kicks off with the #soundbyteoftheweek as always before our team talks about masks off in California & recap their juicy weekend activities as they bring in the astronomical first week of summer. After the break, the team jumps in to their NBA playoffs segment. This week the talk about Sun's in 4 guy and his recent Phoenix fame on Pheonix, young guys taking over the leauge, Ben Simmons performance (or lack thereof), and the team & studio guest go through their playoff picks through the Conference Finals and Finals. Tee & Lee try to place a wager on the Finals winner but end up debating which of their body parts would be most donatable? The team closes with a story of a black Shake Shack manager that was arrested for allegedly poisoning the food, but is now suing the city since there was no real evidence supporting that claim. Ep. 34 is among us! It starts off with the crew breaking down the lyrics to the #soundbyteoftheweek before moving on to how they used to fight the effects of global warming when they were growing up. Lee has a short rant thereafter and then brings the the team to their next discussion: the Virginia Tech football player that is facing a murder charge for beating his tinder date to death upon learning that the person was actually a man. After speaking on those implications, the boys switch over to UFC 263 that happened the weekend of this episode's recording & talk about the brawling that transpired as well as some interesting backstories surrounding. After the break, the team jumps into their NBA section. They talk about the Sun's in 4 guy and the Sun's winning in 4 games, Jokic's flagrant 2 ejection, KD's bodyguard defending him on court & KD's escapades with Lana Rhodes off the court. They continue on the Lana Rhodes topic with her wanting to remove her "spicy" videos from the internet and Lee creates the image of Tee in a spicy video of his own amongst a few other ideas before wrapping up. Leiroy reminisces on his truck moves and a very unique experience where he dealt with road rager. *Spoiler Alert* The team then moves on to their synopsis of the Army of the Dead movie that was recently released on Netflix and why it was so enjoyable/awful as well as some other drama surrounding... The next topic the team gets into is the Mayweather vs. Paul & the Ochocinco vs. Waller fights that happened on the weekend. They give their breakdown and synopsis of the matches and clear any misconceptions about what happened and who actually "won" before they brainstorm which popular YouTuber they should line a fight up with next! After the break, Leiroy tries to persuade the team to do more active activities like hula hooping before they jump into recent topics in the NBA. They cover LA and Portland 1st round exits and drama surrounding, which teams they choose to advance out of the second round & Triple H ringing the Liberty Bell at the 1st Sixers and Hawks game. They wrap up with another story of Bryant family and Nike drama where Nike released a prototype shoe of Kobe and Gianna that was not approved by Vanessa and they talk about the efficacy and effect that this will have on Nike as a business. The boys segway into a lengthy discussion on pimping and pumping memestocks & Dogecoin and breakdown some use case for NFTs & other cryptocurrencies. They speak on J. Cole's stint in the Basketball Africa League next and comment on a rival player commenting on it's validity before breaking down the prowess that it actually takes to become a multi-faceted success. Tee briefly queries the group on the fetish of "hanging" and they take a break. Then they take some time to break down some of the nonsense that has been going on recently between fans and players during the NBA Playoffs and relate them to other similar instances. The two breakdown the incident that happened in Tommy T's with DC Young Fly cold-cocking a dummy on stage, then Leiroy closes us out with a story where he was approached by a frustrated crowd goer as well. As a matter of fact, Jack's first search ever (on the show) happens to be who was history's most successful lion tamer. The topic moves on to the effects of steroids and other substances that are rumored to make you have a little wee-wee. More ideas on sports and drug usage come to fruition before Leiroy moves on to ask what would be the best drug to take for 1) participating in a sport and 2) watching that sport. The topic of Colin Kaepernick and his current NFL stock bubbles into the mix before a totally new convo arises about Japan and Gwen Stefani having to apologize for allegedly being racist. Then at about 19 minutes, they move on to talking about the Rock and the Fast and Furious movie series and what they think about the future of the film/movie industry moving forward. Then, they get into their favorite part of the pandemic which turns into them criticizing the hygiene of others during the pandemic. Lee gets into reminiscing on some his favorite places to eat in the city that are shutting down due to Covid. Our hosts take some much needed time to talk about why drinks at the bar are ridiculously over-priced & brainstorm vacation spots. Following that, our boys try out a new segment called Cancelled Premises (probably can get a better name) where they see if Leiroy's jokes are okay or not okay within the Cancel Culture of today. Episode 5 is another hour long action packed episode where Tee & Lee bounce around topic to topic! It starts off with our co-hosts discussing the proper use of emojis while considering race & how you should properly fist your friends. They move into wine drinking edicate and lingo and then Leiroy shares his experience hosting a comedy club and also trying to get his drink idea on their menu. Later, they briefly chat in Tyler's living situation & their experiences living with roommates throughout the years before arriving at and breaking down the concept of covert contracts. For the following 10 minutes, they address a couple of tough questions/topics: should there be a legal and safe way to commit suicide in our society? & why are there music groups with multiple artists that operate under a moniker suggesting that it's one person? The guys move into discussing problems and ideas with the Illuminati, religion, and cults before finishing up on the topic of how they would survive in the wilderness without food & a hilarious Naked & Afraid incident. Tyler breaks down some specific Black issues in America after being queried by Leiroy before they move on random talks about "hitting the bag."
