Tell Me Your Testimony

Today's testimony is from Brianna or " BRI". She grew up in a Christian home, but never saw or felt the love that was talked about in the Bible. So she decieded to go the other way into darkness. She was really involved in the Alternative/ Goth community. Until one day an unexpected friend helped lead her to Jesus. Now she shares her love for Christ wherever she can. She still has her look, but she was made to stand out. Someone may " look" different but that does not mean they are not a follower of Christ.

Today's episode is my Mom's Testimony. This episode is twelve months in the making and was personally really difficult to put together. As hard as it was to hear her voice again, it was also very healing at the same time. She was a wonderful women, she was fearless in many ways; and always up for an adventure. Her testimony was recorded just after she was baptized by my husband in the hospital, after receiving the news of her two stage four cancer diagnosis'. She enjoyed listening to this podcast and I wanted her to have an opportunity to share her story with you. She passed away July 13th,2022, a saved women; truly knowing Christ and loving His word. I know where she is now, a GLORIOUS place with our Lord. Thank you for taking the time to hear her testimony, its truly amazing how our God works in our lives.

Today's episode is Part 2 of Samual Rouda's testimony. In part 1 he told us about his upbringing, how he got into the celebrity makeup scene, and living his homosexual lifestyle in Hollywood.

We left off when Sam was in a horrible accident that left him with very serous life threatening injuries.

He will explain how God kept seeking him throughout his healing and what led him to christ.

Sam is passionate about speaking to the lost and sharing his testimony.

I am so grateful for him and taking the time to record his story. Sam’s testimony is so unique, but relatable at the same time. He was dealing with finding his identity in the most basic of ways. I can definitely relate to this. When asked how he thinks his testimony would be inspiring to others he responded, “As a former celebrity makeup artist, known as “makeupbysamuel”, I had the opportunity to work with many wonderful people and travel to various places around the world. My goal was to be known for my artistic work in the beauty industry. Little did I know that God had other plans for my life. The challenges I faced in a new state were overwhelming, but even then, I refused to look back. Before I knew it, I became acquainted with the lifestyle in Los Angeles. I met new friends and began to dig myself deeper into this hole that no human being could help me out of. I had fallen into drug addiction, alcohol, partying, and homosexuality ect..At one point in life, I was hurt by the people who I called my "friends” and felt as if I was all alone. Even though I was far from God, He never failed to show me his love and mercy. This is just a little bit how God’s love and mercy has helped me tremendously! “ Thank you Sam for sharing!

Andrea shares how as a young adult used to be an atheist/agnostic. Members of her family had recently became true believers and prayed fiercely for her. Her gradual realization of the truth of The Gospel shows how the grace of God works in different ways for different people.

When asked how she thinks her testimony would be inspiring to others she responded,

"Because I used to be atheist/agnostic, I’ve had other believers tell me my story encourages them to keep praying for their hard-hearted loved ones"

Andrea Anderson is a certified Life & Health Coach and co-founder of Wholly Healthy Christian Moms. She works with stressed out ambitious moms who are ready to thrive in their health, learn to joyfully steward their body well by involving the Lord fully in the process and transform their generational wellness legacy “to 1000 generations” as a result. She lives in Cleveland, Ohio with her husband and four children.

Today Josie shares how incredible God is! Her story is very relatable from her struggles with depression and sleep disorders. Being so overly stressed with life and not knowing how to fix it herself. In a desperate cry for help, God made Himself known to her in a way that resonated with her. He knows just how to reach us! Thank You Josie, for sharing your testimony!

Eternal Wall Of Answered Prayers:

Ronnie shares about his wicked and dark past before Christ. He was into heavy drug use, intense hate, demonic practices, basically fulling into rejecting anything that had to do with Christianity. Something happened to him that forever changed his life! He had an encounter and was told he is Not Satan's, but that he belongs to Christ. Ronnie now makes his music for Jesus, he is passionate about evangelizing to those who are "the forgotten" . If you saw Ronnie on the street you would never think of him as a Christian (face tattoos that show as a testimony of his past). Don't let looks fool you, Ronnie loves Christ and has the biggest heart to serve!. I am so grateful to have found him on his TikTok which he has over 30k followers. There he has wonderful community and fellowship for those who maybe are lacking a local body, sharing bible studies and support. He has such a passion for sharing the Gospel. He has been walking with Christ for over a year now!

 I am so happy to be starting this second season of Tell Me Your Testimony off with Ronnie's Story.

When asked to give a brief description of his testimony, Ronnie replied:

"God is real. He told me about Jesus"

Today it's just me! I wanted to take a moment to explain the format and scheduling of this podcast. I have been praying about if I should take time to gather testimonies and focus on editing and creating episodes with time to spare. Which is what I did starting out. So I have decided to make the podcast seasonal.

Season 1 will end Tuesday May 17 2022, Season 2 will start up August 2, 2022. During this break I will be doing interviews and getting everything ready for August.

Jenasa from #CreateYourEarthLife podcast is sharing her testimony. Her podcast was originally made while she was deeply involved with New Age practices. She heard her cousin's testimony on YouTube and things started to change for her drastically from there. Even after 8 years of practicing Rieke, crystal healing, tarot cards and the like; she started to realize the Truth. That following and trusting in Jesus is the ONLY WAY.

When asked what she hopes her testimony will do for listeners:

Jenasa replied," I pray it will either help people who are Christian’s grow in their faith, or it will help people who are not Christian’s become interested in getting to know Jesus. Jesus has completely changed my life. He saved me from the new age, from heartache, from revenge, etc. "

Today I have Chelsea sharing her testimony. She had the mindset that because she sinned God hated her and punished her by causing multiple miscarriages. It is true that God hates sin, but not the repentant sinner. She shares how this truth has helped her step into the role of a Godly wife and have a relationship with Jesus. Her testimony includes, trauma, heartbreak, and loss, but also hope, Grace, and a big picture of God’s faithfulness.

Chelsea is a 20-something wife, auntie, dog-mom, and network marketer living in rural Vermont with her husband in their old farmhouse. She loves connecting with new people, writing, reading, crafting, and spending time outside on their land! She is working on remodeling their home, as well as building enough income to replace her full-time job so that she can serve her family and the Lord every moment.

She enjoys traveling, reading, cooking and spending time with her beautiful daughter Christelle. 

Traci has been through so much in her life. As a young girl she prayed to Jesus each night, she asked Him to save her back then. Traci grew up in a very abusive home. This lead her to full on rebellion and quickly got into dangerous situations. Including drugs, gangs, prostitution, trouble with the law and drinking. This long dark road has still lead her back to Jesus. Traci opens up about her past and I can not be more grateful to have her on to share. Her testimony is still a work in progress, but I think we all are. God is so amazing and I hope her testimony can show just how glorious His Grace is for those who believe.

Jamie grew up in a very difficult home. Her parents were abusive and not able to take care of Jamie and her 4 siblings well. In her own words : " I should have been in foster care." She did not grow up in a Christian home, but fortunately had Christian friends that had some influence on her. Having such a harsh home-life, she had no idea what love was supposed to look like. She then went out to find love in relationships, that ended up being more abusive and confusing her more about her life and why she was even born.

She found Christ in High School and has continued to grow in her relationship with Christ. As most of us know this is not an easy task and takes a lot of breaking down of our worldly views and focusing on His Word, His Voice.

Jamie is now married with teenagers of her own and has a mission of sharing Christ with teenager girls. She wishes she would of had this kind of guidance growing up. She has free resources and a fast growing podcast called UncommonTeen where she gives guidance in short focused episodes for her audience. 

I am so thankful for her sharing her testimony today. She is a walking example of how Jesus can show love through His Grace and that our lives are His. Look at what He is doing through her life!

Today, I have Jaylene on to share her testimony. She had a rough early few years and after being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes she was confused about how God would allow that to happen to her. She became more and more depressed and was self harming, and about to take her own life. She was already signed up for a church retreat and her Mom made sure she went. There everything changed for her. She loves Jesus and is not afraid to let others know. Jaylene has gone through so much and has an amazing testimony and just the age of 16! I found Jenn's testimony on YouTube. I knew right away that I needed to reach out to her and invite her on the podcast to share. I'm so happy she said, "YES!". Jenn, like many of us grew up in a Christian household but saw a lot on confusing things go on in churches she attended. She saw the double lives people were living and decided for a time to live one life. To go all in to giving herself the pleasure of this world. She would soon realize how that makes us feel like empty shells and so so lonely. She was reintroduced to a new church and Jesus. She know understands that we must choose to walk with Him everyday,  every moment. Thank you, Jenn for sharing!

Today I have Vannessa on to share her personal testimony of truly becoming a follower of Jesus. She was raised Catholic and had a very different idea of who God was. She also struggled with the ideas that God was here to do our will and relied on many self fulfilling pursuits. Which ultimately led to feeling empty. She now follows Jesus truly knowing the Gospel and uses her platform to share the Truth.

"Sometimes God brings you to your knees to remind you to depend on Him. All that we have is because of the grace of God. Even when everything in your life seems to be going wrong or chaotic, God hasn't forsaken you, but rather opens His arms wide for you to run to Him."

First her journey finding and having a true relationship with Christ, how He helped her overcome  horrific childhood events that happened to both herself and her twin sister. Today, I have Danielle joining me to share her walk with Jesus. God's grace has been apparent in most of her life, but after a health crisis in her family she began to feel alone and overlooked. She sought after the attention of men and put most of her worthiness in constant relationships. One relationship resulted in a pregnancy. She was pressured to end the pregnancy. After having an abortion, she felt even more lost in where she stands as a Christian. She then just went on and lived a cardinal life, chasing after men to find value.  After many years and now married, God reviled to her what she had been missing. The whole point of salvation is that God did it for us. Now her value is in Jesus and showing His love and forgiveness to others.

This is the interview portion and conclusion of our discussion. Christine and Tom have been through a lot in the past five years,but trust in Jesus and walk with Him daily. They gave up financial and social stability to follow God’s plan and throughout this time have learned that trusting God isn’t easy, but the fruit it bares is immeasurable. Today I have Jennifer share her testimony on how Jesus is helping her through her very rough postpartum season. Jennifer gave birth to her son during 2020. She was soon after diagnosed with Piriformis Syndrome and the main symptom for her was Chronic Pelvic Pain. This left her disabled along with having a newborn. On top of that she also had D-MER(Dysphoric Milk Ejection Reflex) . She talks about through all these struggles she held on to Jesus and became closer to Him through the process. She is still recovering,but wanted to share her story for anyone who maybe struggling as well... " He stripped away everything, at the end of the day I was just left with Jesus and him asking me: Am I enough? He's more then enough..."
