Daily Routines
That Sober Couple, Lisa Twombly and Jon Picard, talk about their experiences with daily routines before and after they stopped drinking.
This episode could be a great example of things only sober people say about early mornings. Waking up and starting the day felt one way when we were drinking - usually pretty crappy - and different now that we are sober - thank god/HP/Universe. Our morning routine sometimes includes sunrises and no longer includes self-induced headaches, shakes or nausea.
Let's explore the what and why of a sober morning routine.

The Road from Tucson to Phoenix Part 2
That Sober Couple, Lisa Twombly and Jon Picard, take you on the road in Part Two of The Road from Tucson to Phoenix. Talking about our first vacation together, much delayed by the pandemic, to celebrate Jon’s parent’s 80th birthdays.
Family, travel, vacations, feelings, discomfort, celebration, time away - all used to be reasons or occasions to drink. Lisa and Jon share our experiences and observations, being sober in situations we hadn’t been in the past.
This is a car ride, an inside listen and it turns into a deeper discussion of feelings - how we experience and express them differently in sobriety, making more vulnerable and meaningful connections with others and talking about how fun it was to celebrate sober.
