S2 EP3 - Uniform, do we need it?
This week Sean and Miriam brave the topic of Uniform and discuss whether uniform is still necessary in 2022. They start by reflecting on their own experiences of uniform in their childhood and then in their work within schools. They look at the reasons for uniform and look at the arguments for flexibility and the consequences when we don't get it right. Although they can't promise to settle the debate they relish bringing the question to the listener.
S2 EP2 - A great teacher or a teacher of great lessons?
Sean, Miriam and special guest Fran Njovarna discuss what it means to be a great teacher. They delve back into their own childhoods and education to reflect on their own favourite teachers of the past and what made them "great". They discuss the difference between great resources and great teaching practise as well as talking about the considerations of someone who plans lessons for others to use. They also reflect on how best to set cover work for others before finishing the episode off with some top tips on how to develop your teaching practise and lesson planning.
S2 EP1 - Back to School
This week Sean and Miriam are joined by special guest and assistant Principal, Narayan Deb. They discuss the first real results day in three years and how it felt in comparison to previous years. The talk about how to welcome new staff at your school and when it goes wrong. They also talk about Inset days and the do's and don'ts before ending on the top tips for a good start back to school life after the Summer Holiday.

This week Sean and Miriam discuss well-being at school. Firstly they discuss their own experiences with then their well-being hasn't been at its best before moving on to thinking about what schools can do to support employee well-being. They discuss what has worked for them and top tips for teachers to consider.
