Christopher Bernard Wilder
Christopher Bernard Wilder first became known to police at just 17 years old, after his involvement in the brutal gang rape of a 13-year-old girl in Sydney, Australia. 20 years later, he would become one of the FBI's 10 Most Wanted Fugatives as he embarked on a cross-country killing spree across the United States.

Amanda Plasse
At 6:47pm on the 26th of August 2011, a frantic 911 call shattered the otherwise somewhat peaceful city of Chicopee, located on the Connecticut River in Hampden County, Western Massachusetts.
Despite the crime rates of this area being quite high and well above the national average, its level of violent crimes is relatively low; so low in fact that in 2011 only one murder was reported.
This is the story of 20-year-old Amanda Plasse.

In 1991, when the body of a young woman was found discarded in a light industrial area south of Sydney, detectives thought she would be identified quickly. It was Christmas, and if someone's loved one was missing, this was definitely the time of year where it most likely wouldn't go un-noticed.

Jennifer, Adrian and Sarah De Gruchy
Wayne and Jennifer De Gruchy and their three children were your typical Aussie family, living in Shellharbour’s middle-class suburb of Albion Park Rail, approximately 100km east of the NSW capital of Sydney.
Every Monday morning Wayne would make the hour and half commute up to Sydney where he worked, and it was not uncommon for him to spend the night at his parents' place if he’d had a long day, and this is where he was on the evening of Tuesday the 12th of March in 1996. Wayne had called Jenny earlier that day to let her know that he wouldn’t be home, just as Jenny was getting ready to go pick up their two youngest children, 15-year-old Adrian and 13-year-old Sarah from school. What Wayne didn’t know was that this quick phone call would be the last time he spoke to his wife, and that within hours, Jenny and two of their three children would be brutally murdered.
This is the story of Jennifer, Adrian and Sarah De Gruchy.

Karlie and Khandalyce
In early February of 2012, Colleen Margaret Povey was in the final days of her breast cancer battle. As her family surrounded her hospital bedside, her eyes remained fixed on the door, desperately searching for the faces of her daughter and granddaughter whom she hadn’t seen in nearly three and a half years.
As Colleen’s body became weaker, she squeezed her husband Scott’s hand and asked; ‘Is Karlie and Khandalyce here yet?’
These were Colleen Povey’s final words, and within hours she passed away at the age of just 44.
This is the heartbreaking story of 20-year-old Karlie Pearce-Stevenson, and her 2-year-old daughter Khandalyce Pearce.

Matthew Gailie
Across the US, intimate homicides account for approximately 9% of all murders nationwide, and while we hear accounts mainly of the cases involving victims that are women, violence against men and mariticide can quite often be less talked about. Mariticide is the killing of one’s husband, boyfriend or male intimate partner, and although a few cases have dominated headlines over the past 15 years or so, this has been due to the antics of the killer, while the victims in these cases remain relatively unknown. Good examples of this are the cases of Jodi Arias, who shot and killed Travis Alexander on June the 4th 2008, and that of Shayna Huber who claimed self-defense after shooting and killing Ryan Poston in October of 2012.
But there is one case that I came across that I had never heard of before, and I wanted this man's story to be heard.
This is the story of Matthew Gailie.

Florence Hildreth
With modern advancements such as DNA profiling and high-tech computerized systems, the work of the Forensic Investigator has become both more complex and more straight forward. Straight forward in the sense that these days DNA can quickly incriminate or exclude someone from an investigation. But before the introduction of advanced DNA technology, forensic investigators had to rely more than ever on their own ability in locating, analyzing and interpreting the evidence that had been left at the scene of a crime and what had been taken away; which more often than not could be of very little value in obtaining that crucial link between victim and perpetrator that’s needed to secure a conviction.
But then there are the rare crime scenes that contain such an overwhelming amount of forensic evidence, that even before the use of DNA, it can result in a quick open and shut case.
This is the story of 17 year old, Florence Hildreth.

Crime and violence committed against any person within the sex industry is generally seen as being ‘less important’ and not news worthy, but in Brisbane, Queensland, when two street workers were found brutally murdered, police wasted no time in setting up a task force and were determined to catch their killer before he could strike again.
