The Daily Plug with Cy & TJAug 19, 2019
Episode 3: Story Time (pt. 2) -- Of Food Allergies & Hospital Visits
In this climate of unrest, Cy & TJ though the audience just needed a little reprieve. TJ comes with a whole slew of new stories about the crazy "whyness" of it all!

Continue to show your support for the movement. Continue to be safe and protect those around you and yourselves.
Ep 2: Surviving The Rising Gods During the Agust D'pocalypse
Welcome back, Daily Pluggers. In this episode Cy & TJ try to contain themselves as they describe how they managed to survive the weekend. Both the legendary Rising Gods of East and the always problematic Agust D returned to fans and challenged Madame 'Rona for attention!
Episode 1: Back to the Madness
Our cohosts cy & TJ are back for another seasons of absolute madness. In this episode of The Daily Plug, our Dynamic Duo discuss some of the most recent tomfoolery in the epic saga of "Humans Are Exhausting." But there are silver linings, of course. (One that even initially took Cy by surprise!)
--
In this time of COVID-19, Karens & blatant racism, it's all we can do keep level heads. If you ever feel like you need someone to talk to, someone to help you through your darkest days, please seek help. You are not alone and you never have to go through these stressful times alone!
Also please do what you can to bring to light the disgusting murder of Ahmaud Arbery. Go to #RunWithMaud to see what you can do help see that justice is served!
Episode 9: Do Better!
Hello, listeners! We at The Daily Plug hope that you're spending your time well and somewhere you can keep yourself and everyone else around as safe as possible. On this week's episode, Cy & TJ have a message for those of you who have decided your thirst for attention, ignorance and just straight-up nastiness overrides the peace and harmony everyone else is trying to live in: Do ... BETTER!

Keep up-to-date with the latest information from the CDC and the WHO.
Mentioned in the episode:
Episode 8: We Need to Talk About the Coronavirus
Hello, Daily Plug Family. Cy & TJ wanted to take the time to have a chat about what's on everybody's mind these days: COVID-19, known more commonly as the Coronavirus. Our co-hosts talk about what's going on, prevention and add a little levity to a situation that is pretty darn scary.
What we at the Daily Plug want to emphasize is please don't panic! Panic leads to making irrational and oftentimes dangerous decisions. It also strips us of our humanity. We are all affected by this. Do what you can for yourself and those around you to stay safe. But don't act on fear. Fear leads to suffering, and we don't need any more of that. As always, love yourselves and love each other.

Episode 7: Humans Are Exhausting Pt. II
So nice, they had to do it twice! Thought you were getting a break from the sheer effort humanity is, eh? Yeah ... sorry about that. This week Cy & TJ again revisit the more ::ahem:: "interesting" aspects of human behavior. An unexpected extension to last week's rant about just how exhausting people can be.
--
Remember to stay out there, everyone. Take the health precautions your momma taught you: cover you mouth in your sleeve or a hanky of some kind (NOT on your bare skin, folks) and for the love of your higher brain function, WASH. YOUR. HANDS!
Episode 6: Humans Are Exhausting
After the utter thrashing Cy & TJ experienced compliments of BTS, you'd think they'd get a break, right? Wrong ... so wrong. This week our co-hosts deal with some circular issues that continue to make them sigh and shake their heads. Why, oh why, are humans so darn ... exhausting?
Episode 5: Album Review MEGA Episode -- BTS Map of the Soul: 7 (pt. 2)
Welcome back to a very special Album Review episode with Cy & TJ. This will go down in history as the day that BTS finally broke Cy!
--
DISCLAIMER: Apologies for the feedback. We're working on getting that aspect of the show cleaned up! Enjoy!
Episode 4: Album Review MEGA Episode -- BTS Map of the Soul: 7 (pt. 1)
This is another big one! This week Cy & TJ review the highly anticipated third LP from K-pop phenomenon BTS. See what Cy, the casual fan, and TJ, the die-hard old-school ARMY, have to say about what's arguably the septet's most comprehensive album to date!
Episode 3: The Library Is Open
Last week was one heck of a week for people giving their respective industries life memberships to the library. Reading was most certainly fundamental at the Oscars and the Super Bowl. Join Cy & TJ as they take you through the Dewey Decimal System that was entertainment last week!
Episode 2: Common Sense Ain't So Common
Turns out what we think is common sense ain't really all that common. On this episode, Cy & TJ discuss the misinformation and downright ignorance running amok in the age of instant gratification. Why, oh why, do people make things so difficult?!
Episode 1: The Minstrelsy of It All!
Cy & TJ are back with the fist episode of the decade, the year, and Season 3! And it looks like they're off and running quickly in 2020! Some of the stories they had to catch us up on from December of last year to now ...? You'd never guess it was the 21st century with the way some people are already behaving *smh*
--
The Daily Plug wants to send love and condolences to the families of the horrific helicopter tragedy that claimed the lives of Kobe and Gianna "Gigi" Bryant. We here at TDP implore you all to live each day like it's the best and the last. Time is fleeing and fickle. Spend the time you have being happy, doing well and doing good for everyone around you!
Episode 7: Favorite Artists of the Decade MEGA EPISODE!
And here we are! Every episode of the year has led to this. Cy & TJ reveal five of their favorite artists from the 2010s. Trust when we say, it was a battle trying to choose only five artists (and more than double that in Honorable Mentions). From the way this conversation ended, these lists aren't even half of the artists they admire from the decade! But somehow they made it. And you were along for the journey.
We also revisit a couple moments in "We Did Not Suffer" history! Enjoy the episode. We'll see you next year!
Episode 6: Favorite Albums (and Singles) of 2019
That's right! The episode we've all been waiting for. This week Cy & TJ explore their favorite albums and singles from both K-pop and all across the board in 2019. And what a year it's been! What are some of your favorites from this year?
Episode 5: Of Legends & Dragon Princes (Pt. 2)
And we're back again this week. Cy & TJ go in full-on fan mode and dig into Season 3 of Netflix original The Dragon Prince. Strap in. Grab your snacks. Because this is a hefty episode, packed with betrayals, grasps for power ... and magical fingers ...
Episode 4: Of Legends & Dragon Princes (pt. 1)
On this episode of The Daily Plug, Cy & TJ begin a discussion about the Netflix original series "The Dragon Prince." Let's just say, there's a whole lotta spazzing going on this time around! It got so good, they had to split the episode into two parts!
Episode 3: You Shoulda Just Sat There & Ate Your Food...
Sometimes people just should keep their mouths shut. Particularly when it comes for speaking about, for and over a community that isn't yours. This episode Cy & TJ delve into some unfortunate mess from, where else, the world of Hallyu. They also take a look at these Grammy shenanigans!
Episode 2: "But I Luh Him Though!"
This week, TJ decides to see how far he can take Cy to the edge of her sanity. Some of these stories simply must be heard to be believed!

Cy and TJ both want to emphasize the importance of knowing your surroundings. With the surge in cases of human trafficking recently, our hosts encourage everyone to take care of themselves and take care of each other. To report suspicions of human trafficking call the National Human Trafficking Hotline toll free at 1-888-373-7888 (or text the hotline at 233733). You can also visit their website to learn more about the signs of trafficking and what you can do to help stop it!
Episode 1 - Cyberbullying
It's been a particularly rough five or six weeks for fans of the Hallyu Wave. f(x) disbanding, the passing of former member Sulli, Monsta X's Wonho leaving the group (no matter how temporarily or permanently). It seems 2019 is trying to compete with 2017 as the worst year in Hallyu. But it all boils down to one thing: fan entitlement in the era of "social media." A serious consequence of which is cyberbullying.
With the push from South Korea's government to crack down on malicious comments, one has to wonder, is it too little too late? After all, bullying is just a symptom. The root of the problem is much deeper.
Join Cy, TJ, and special guest, Matthew as they discuss the consequences of fan entitlement, cyberbullying and the pain of living with mental illness.

Episode 8: Story Time -- The College Years
In this episode, Cy & TJ regale the audience with tales of their first times. No ... it's not that type of show, kiddos. Strictly PG. They take us down Memory Lane about first trips to Korea, college roommates and house parties. Some of the stories are, shall we say ... interesting.
---
On a more serious note, the co-hosts implore you to spare a thought and some time for the Amazon rainforest. It's been burning for a month now, and there's been very little major media coverage about. Organizations like Green Peace, the Rainforest Action Network, and Amazon Watch are actively trying to keep corrupt parties in the Brazilian government from actively destroying one of Mother Nature's most important natural resources. So please, do what you can. Thank you.
Episode 7: The VMAs -- Legends Only!
On this week's episode we just had to talk about the musical event that is MTV's annual Video Music Awards! Despite awards shows past, 2019 proved to be the year of absolute legends. The women that graced the stage this year...! All Cy & TJ can say is...
BOW DOWN!

On this week's episode, Cy & TJ are joined by a very special guest.
IMMY of Daebak K-pop with IMMY and the sprinKle Podcast!
The trio discuss some of the most memorable moments in music in their lives. Trust us, it gets nostalgic in a hurry. And this week's rant is just... *sigh* Cue "SMDH" emoji...
