The DLP Effect

It's been a long week which calls for a couple of adult beverages. I take no time diving into the NBA Finals and the horrendous officiating that has been allowing the Bucks to stay alive. Suns will still win, don't you worry. I then get into the Euro Cup Final where the England Manager made some of the worst tactical decisions and only compounded it with his choice of penalty kick takers at the end. The McGregor-Poirier fight was disappointing in every way possible. I then take a trip around the world to discuss the assassination in Haiti, "woke coke" in the UK, and the Chinese trying to take over more of Asia and the Middle East. I then jump into some "cool" stories here at home, where we plan to release Jaguars back into Arizona and New Mexico. Then release armies of feral cats to combat gun violence on the streets of Chicago. Stick around long enough and we'll get to the TikToks, where we find out what avocado tastes like. 

After a brief hiatus, the DLP Effect is back! Before breaking down how the NBA Finals will turn out, I break down the superb disappointment of the 76ers in the NBA Playoffs. After releasing my anger from the Sixers, I breakdown UFC 264 from top to bottom. From Sugar Sean O'Malley to Conor McGregor, to Wonderboy Thompson and Greg Hardy. This card is for sure going to have everything. Once we break away from sports, we go sports adjacent to dive into Major League Eating and the Nathan's Hotdog eating contest, one of America's greatest past times. After that I discuss the group of hooligans I came across on the street right before the 4th of July and then discuss what Trump and Bill Cosby are up to these days. Then finally, we close out the show with the wonderful TikToks of some truly amazing men. 

I love it when I'm right and I called it that the Bill and Melinda Gates divorce being cause by Ole Billy's connection to Jeffrey Epstein. After bathing in my victorious prediction, I dissect some of the wild things happening here in the US with job vacancy's soaring and bribes being implemented to get people to take the vaccine. The crazy thing is, the bribes are working. I switched up the order this week, and got into all things NBA playoffs next. After discussing the Sixers path to the Finals, I dig into Tim Tebow making the move to tightend and becoming a Jacksonville Jaguar. The show then takes a serious turn where I try to give my novice breakdown of the current situation in Israel, with the main takeaway being; Look into it a bit more from all sides. Due to some grave technical difficulties discussed at the top of the show I could not close out this week's show with TikToks. But, instead I left you with beer fasting monks and psychos who never want to stop wearing their masks!

It's Cinco de Mayo and instead of drowning in tequila and margaritas, another installment of the DLP Effect is here. I start the show dissecting the only part of the draft that mattered in the 1st round, before beginning to take a look at the outlook for the Sixers in the Eastern Conference. 

It is then time for the main course; the Bill and Melinda Gates divorce. Not much else is going on in the American news media this week but one of the richest men in the world is getting a divorce and I find it IMPOSSIBLE that there was no funny business going on inside that relationship. After that we take a trip around the world with captain planet as we check in on the COVID situation in India. Discuss one of the most terrifying types of tragedies in Israel. Check in on some shitty shit going on in China, again. Then cap it off with a fun traditional Saudi dance. After that we close out the show with Facebook debating on charging Facebook users through iPhones and what in the world an NFT is. Of course, we can't forget about the TikToks and you won't want to miss out so you can lose all faith in the future all from a girl brushing her teeth. 

I kickoff this week's show recapping one of the most entertaining UFC cards in the past 5 years; with wild knockouts, freak accidents, and much more. I start to scratch the surface of the upcoming NFL Draft, but who actually cares about the draft until its actually over? From there I check in with Uncle Joe to tell him I'm impressed that he already has plans to spend $4 trillion. The all powerful Google makes a mistake and bullies an average Joe out of some potential dough. We have a guy tossing change into a jet engine and just before we get into the TikToks we learn about some interesting effects of essential oils. Make sure to tune in, to enjoy all the fun!

China is back on their bullshit again implementing a Black Mirror episode for social scores and watching your neighbor. Derek Chauvin gets convicted, but their is plenty of other funky business going on in the US that needs attention, like the CDC naming a new serious public health threat. Before we get into any of that, I breakdown the attempt at creating a new European Soccer League called the 'Super League'. Plus an amazing UFC 261 card this weekend featuring 3 Title fights that you won't want to miss. Of course, to close out the episode we have some TikToks of some guys who just have it all figured out. 

Not dead, COVID didn't get me, CIA hasn't gotten a hold of me yet, but they did try to put a chip in my arm though so  watch out for that. After a brief hiatus the DLP Effect is back and it ain't going anywhere. This weeks show I try to bring you back up to speed on what been going on for the past month. Missed out on March Madness, so I covered it. Missed out on Uncle Joe for the past month, so we touch base with his kooky self. Missed out on the apparent rise of racism this past month, so I covered that too. Some serious moments sneak their way into the show as I discuss some of what its currently going on in Minneapolis. But don't you worry, the best is saved for last and the TikTok's will not disappoint. We back and here to stay!

No days off, even on my own birthday. After a weekend of celebrations I make sure I still bring you the podcast you need and deserve. This week we dive back into American politics to discuss some recent moves Nancy Pelosi has been making in regards to the Capitol attack in January. From there we get to talk about how great of a job Joe Biden is doing on following through with his promises for getting those $2000 checks out to everyone and not detaining children in cages anymore. We get an update form Captain Planet on the cool things China is up to including anal swab testing US diplomats for the coronavirus! We find out that robodogs are being deployed as police and that the world is likely coming to an end. But don't worry, we finish off with some TikToks and a powerful message to close the show!

Kevin Lauria joins the show again to help us break down the Colts-Eagles trade of Carson Wentz. We also have plenty of videos to show Kevin, including an explanation of the powers of menstrual blood. We have plenty of TikToks to go through to decipher what some of these crazy people are saying on the internet. Before Kevin joins, I breakdown the current situation in Texas as well as get into a new math curriculum that is being taught in Oregon that says Math is racist. This week's episode has a little bit of everything so make sure to check it out!

My kid sister, Rachel DLP, joins the first weekend edition of the DLP Effect. With her being a Nurse, we spend the first portion of the show getting into all things related to the coronavirus. From there I tell her a bit about the Super Bowl that she decided that she was too good to watch, before we get into some neat stuff and some cool stuff. We then talk about fecal transplants, naughty TSA agents, and the biggest feminist in history. And it wouldn't be an episode of the DLP Effect without ending with some TikToks; and boy oh boy do we have some good ones for you. 

After I discuss the joys of my hotel, I get right into what the Leader of the Free World is up to these days before finding out what criticisms his VP is taking after some highly questionable wardrobe choices. Also one of the more unlikely senators introduces a term limit bill that I think would actually do some good for the country. After that I get into one of our newest marble mouth friends, the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles Nick Sirianni before previewing the Super Bowl. We head over to Germany to go through a dark story, before inevitably ending up in China where they have stolen something new! Then in an attempt to rid us of those dark stories, we get into some lovely TikToks.

An exciting episode on tap this week that starts off with a run in with a lady of the night. Once we see her off to bed, we get into the Eagles new Head Coaching hire and what it means for the Birds this offseason. The matchup of the NFL Championship is determined and of course Tom Brady is going to be in it again, as we recap the championship games. Of course, I get into McGregor's sleeping habits during the middle of this past weekend's fight, and then we take a trip around the world; women in Puerto Rico, drinks in England, train rides in China, and billionaires in India. I take my time but we finally get into what in the hell is going on with Wall Street and GameStop, and what this coupled with unheard of economic practices coming out of the Federal Reserve mean for all of us. Oh and Bill Gates quietly became the largest owner of farmland in the U.S. while the dollar is getting set up to tank, but don't worry I end the episode with TikTok's to make your brain feel a little bit better.  

Joe Biden is officially the 46th President of the United States of America and wastes no time getting into making some policy changes. We get deep into some of the early changes that Not-so Sleepy Joe makes as well as the high security measures that were taken for the inauguration. After I discuss what Joe Exotics Inauguration Day plans were, we get into a man you has been living in a Chicago airport for the past three months, which is both impressive and terrifying. Of course we get into the NFL playoffs and what is in store this weekend in both Championship games and then discuss Connor McGregor as he makes his return to the octagon this weekend in what should be a fun match-up with Dustin Poirier. Lastly, we end the show with some more fascinating TikToks and a guy named Skittles who has a real thing for uppers. 

A President so nice, they had to impeach him twice. I continue to analyze the ongoing fallout from last week's Capitol Siege to try and understand where we go from here. I take a brief second to talk about how Trump doesn't discriminate and will execute female's on death row too; the first in 30 years! I lighten the mood and get into the NFL playoffs. My picks last week weren't terrible but, but in the Divisional round you have to stick with the favorites. I get into the firing of Doug Pederson and take a quick look at the blockbuster James Harden deal. I check in to see what else is going on around the world and guess what? China still sucks. I don't let you go away without so top notch TikTok's and why Kool-Aid with breakfast is a fantastic idea!

This weeks episode we talk about the protesters that broke into the Capitol building this week all because that guy said "amen and awomen". We truly do live in crazy times. We dig into what got us to this point and where we can try to go from there.

Don't worry we have plenty of Wild Card weekend to discuss as well, as we ramp up for the NFL playoffs. I give all my predictions for this weeks games, and my current underdog to win it all. Once we are done with the NFL, I get into Popcorn Sutton and how he is a true visionary. Then we figure out what in the hell the title of this episode means. I cap it off with some Tik Toks of the female variety; the men aren't the only crazy ones!

This week we go off script to close out 2020. We recap what has been a year for the history books and a year that if you only watched it through your phone you would assume the world had ended. After running back through some notable events of the year and what we have to learn from them, I dive into what is next for us in 2021. Trust me it will be so much better than 2020, I promise! We close out the show with setting some New Year's Resolutions for myself and the DLP Effect as well as give a peek into what is in store for the show as we move forward. Sarah Fuller for the ESPY's Athlete of the Year!!! This week on the DLP Effect I begrudgingly still talk about Jake Paul and his pathetic attempts to try and lure Conor McGregor into a boxing match. I dig into the NFL as we approach the playoffs and discuss the minuscule chance that the Eagles still have to make the playoffs, even though I don't think I want to see it. Twitter admits that they plan to ban Trump off the platform as soon as he is no longer the President. Biden announces the robot Buttigieg as the Secretary of Transportation as the get ready to "Build Back Better." Then we find learn all about the TIV before finding some real cool guys on Tik Tok one of which is just trying to spread Christmas cheer!

Boxing is joke, Big Ten football is a joke, but the biggest joke of them all is the Philadelphia Eagles Organization. After discussing how terrible of an idea Logan Paul boxing Floyd Mayweather would and what a sham the Big Ten is, I get into all things NFL. Once I express my severe disappointment in the Eagles, we take a trip around the world only to find that China is trying biologically modify and make super soldiers. If that isn't terrifying enough, we go through a recent interview with a former Israeli Space Chief who says aliens are here now and Trump knows about them. But don't worry, we end the show talking about some drunk Australian bees with an idea and opportunity of a lifetime. Oh yeah and of course we have some of the famous Toks just waiting for us at the end too.

We got girls playing football, NBA players boxing, and the Eagles still suck. That just the tip of the iceberg on this weeks show. After delving into the sporting events of the Thanksgiving weekend, I decide to take a trip around the world to see what else is going on out there and surprisingly no mention of China on this weeks trip. We stop in the UAE as they make changes to their laws and touch on the assassination that occurred in Iran. I also make a quick stop here at home in the US to see how Trump is handling is now confirmed defeat by AG Bill Barr and we reign in Biden's all female Press Team. After too much serious talk, I bring in the Tik Toks as we visit Christian Tok and Bro Science Tok in some classic clips. Enjoy the show!

It's Thanksgiving Eve and everyone is locked back down in quarantine, but the DLP Effect is here to deliver. This week we get it to everything that is going on with the coronavirus and how it is currently impacting the holiday season. I breakdown a bit of week 11 and get into some week 12 action of the NFL as we ramp up for the Thanksgiving Day games. Trump has begun his transition out of office and allowed for Biden to begin his transition into office. Amazing, democracy at work. I have an old friend visit in Kenneth Copeland as he shows us just another reason why he might actually be Satan. It sounds like Ghislaine Maxwell is having fun in jail and getting ready to meet the aliens at the metallic object in the middle of a Utah desert. Plus , anyone in need of a plus one for the holidays just stick around for the Tik Toks because I have definitely found you a date.

Another episode of the DLP Effect to save you as we enter into the dark winter and a new guest, Kevin Lauria, joins the show! Before Kevin joins, I dig into some of what is going on with the shutdowns related to the coronavirus and some of the "promising" vaccines that we are learning about through the media. We then check in with our new President-Elect Joe Biden as he gets congratulated from China on his Presidential win!

For the last 40 minutes, Kevin joins the show where we get into everything NFL. We take a turn from the NFL and discuss Jeff Bezos as Amazon begins to get into delivering prescription drugs. We learn about how ugly babies could be discriminated against and how Jeff Bezos might be able to help. I couldn't let Kevin get away without showing him some of my famed Tik Toks where we check out an aspiring rapper!

As much of the world and parts of the US begin to clamp down on the COVID-19 restrictions a vaccine is announced that is here to save us all, just coincidentally announced days after a projected winner of the US Presidency is announced. How convenient. I discuss everything that seems to being going on in with the burst of corona cases before getting into the vial new jerseys for the Sixers. I discuss everything that is going on in the NFL through week 9 and give a preview of games to come in week 10. I have to check in with how the election results are being disputed and what that means for our democracy. (Hint: Nothing, the system was built to allow and deal with this.) Then I introduce you to some old Tik Tok friends and a new one who thinks he's a wolf. HOOOOOOOWWWWWWWLLLLLLLL!

Well we made it through the election so far without imploding, how much further can we make it? No decisive winner for the 2020 Presidential Election has been decided, but there are plenty of crazy things that are going on surrounding the election to be discussed. Can't we all just get along, be a little nicer to each other? Only love begets hate, right? But don't worry, it's not all doom and gloom. We had some positives come out of Election Tuesday that I touch on before diving into the week 8 of the NFL. Make sure you stick around for the Tik Toks at the end, for a fine young lady who was asked out by a paraplegic. Stay safe out there!

This week I talk about my beloved and hated Philadelphia Eagles as they climb their way to the top of the pathetic NFC East, before taking a broader look at the NFL through week 6. I go through so of the top bouts in UFC 254 with some impressive performances by both Robert Whittaker and Khabib Nurmagomedov, plus the show that was put on by Lauren Murphy. I then give a breakdown of how I see things playing out with this election regardless of who wins, and what I think we as a people need to be more aware of to try to make an attempt to unite us as a people. And I couldn't leave a show without one BBW and one PTSD Tik Tok, enjoy!

We check in with Captain Planet to see what in the world is going on in China now as they begin to influence museums in France? We wrap the show up discussing some Zoom mishaps and tying it all together with some Tik Toks. 

Typically there's only one episode a week, but Tyler Patrick decides he wants to drop in for an episode before the week 5 NFL games? This week on the DLP Effect I recap Week 1 of the NFL and how great I am at picking games. We touch base on some of the wild action going on in the NBA as we inch closer to the NBA Finals. I have some interesting facts on mockingbirds, octupuses, and vikings. Don't trust birds, even if you think they are dead. We then review the State of the Union and how Joe Rogan is gearing up to try and moderate a debate between Biden and Trump. We head out West to discuss the insane fires that are happening before diving into Tik Toks to end the show. Enjoy! 

The NFL is BACK! We take a quick look at some of the match ups we have  this week and get into a little bit of brown talk... I talk about how  Giannis might be a fraud after getting bounced out of the playoffs as  the reigning MVP and Defensive Player of the Year. We check in with  Captain Planet to see what in the hell is going on in Belarus as  political figures begin to get kidnapped. We bring it back to home soil  and see what we have going on here with recent protests on the right and  the left. Then I leave you off with some fantastic themed Tik Toks.

I kick this week off on the DLP Effect by getting into Flyers Playoff  hockey and my NFL Fantasy draft. I then decide its time to get out of  the US and check in with the rest of the world to see how things are  going out there. After my trip around the world I check back in here at  home with a story of true bravery down in Louisiana, followed by some  dark findings in Georgia. I attempt to cleanse the palate with some  otter gang wars and our lovely Tik Tok friends.
