73 - Marketing in the Neurodivergent Mind | Rebecca Bruzzese

73 - Marketing in the Neurodivergent Mind | Rebecca Bruzzese

In this thought-provoking episode of our marketing podcast, we dive deep into the world of neurodiversity and its impact on the marketing landscape. Our guest, an accomplished marketing professional with a neurodiverse background, shares their unique journey of nurturing creativity and achieving success in marketing before it became the powerhouse industry it is today.

While often viewed unfavourably, “Jack of All Trades” is a title that Toronto based creative, Rebecca Bruzzese, wears proudly. Growing up, Rebecca's teachers constantly told her to “focus” and “specialize” in what she was passionate about. As a neurodivergent individual, those “passions” were merely that week’s hyper-fixation, and her career path wasn’t as clear-cut as she had hoped it would be - so she forged her own.

As a visual artist, Rebecca has dabbled in most artistic mediums, while excelling most notably at calligraphy and painting under her brand Becca Makes. She blends traditional alternative art styles and vibrant colour palettes with various contemporary mediums to create striking and original works of art that push the boundaries of what is deemed “normal” - a common theme across her artistic and professional career.

Rebecca’s creativity extends beyond the art world, and was the foundation for building her professional career as a Marketing Strategist.

71 The Perfect Recipe: Crafting Your Personal Brand & Flourishing on Platforms | Janna Estrada

My name is Janna. I am the founder of Jannabakes incorporated! I started the business in 2016 and was running it part time for 5 years. I took a year and a half off beginning of COVID because I was burnt out and wanted to figure out who I was and what I wanted to do with my life. After a year of healing, I started a 9-5, and I found myself feeling very unfulfilled. In 2022, I started coming up with ideas of niching down jannabakes, figuring out what I actually want to create, and my passion for baking was reignited. So January 2023, I quit my 9-5 to go all in with my business. The last 3 months have been extremely eye opening and I am extremely scared and excited for what this year will bring me. Paper designer and craft engineer, Florencia Alba hasn’t found a thing that can’t be expressed through paper. She is endlessly mesmerized with the transformation of plain sheets into all kinds of shapes and figures and with the power of her hands to translate an idea into something tangible.

With six years of experience, three years in Mexico where she is from, three years in Toronto and almost a year in Ottawa where she is based, she has worked with music festivals, malls, jewellers, boutiques, photographers, event planners, hotels, cosmetic brands and tech companies. Shiv Gupta - Customer Satisfaction and Growth

Shiv Gupta - Customer Satisfaction and Growth

I started my journey in the field of digital marketing at the age of 17. For the initial three years, I worked on experimental projects, while working on research-based projects, I grabbed deep knowledge of the industry.

During that time, I also gained a lot of technical skills and market knowledge and together with that unknowingly I learned good client management skills as well, because of which I started getting some referral-based work.

Later one of my first clients, Robe Noguria encouraged me to partner with him and offered me to start my digital marketing agency. In 2012, I started my own company, Incrementors, and developed my website, https://www.incrementors.com/.

Though I began my professional career as a small business owner, my team had tremendous success in terms of marketing the business and developing the field.

I started Incrementors to provide the best marketing solution to struggling businesses to show actionable result orienting tips, strategies, and techniques needed to get higher sales and conversions. Incrementors don't give fluff or “high-level” advice. Our core focus insanely remains on actionable advice that works.
