The Morning Brief: Clevand Indians No More
After a New York Times report on Sunday night, the Cleveland Baseball team made it official to change their name from the "Cleveland Indians," to a name that will be determined in the future.
In a statement issued, Monday 14, 2020, Owner/Chief Executive Officer Paul Dolan explained that the team started to discuss the change back in June following their public "commitment to take a leadership role in helping address many of the social challenges" that were affecting the Cleveland community.Ā
